Best transmission shop customer service is amazing and the quality of work doesnt get any better.

He was very informative and did not keep ke in the dark about what repairs weree needed and why. He was able to get my company vehicle back on the road the same week! We will definitely be ysing his services in the future.

My mother who is 58 years old who just beat cancer, needed work done on her 2003 Ford Explorer. My mother litterally emptied her savings account and my siblings and I pitched to help with the cost. After going multiple times due to him not being able to get it straighten it in the first place, Jerry miller said he finally got the transmission work done which he said fixed the car. It ended up costing us $4200 to fix it, all to find out by another mechanic shop, that the engine needed a rebuild and that all the fluids were burned, thanks Jerry! You really helped put my mother through stress and hardship! (If I was looking to get work done, this place should be your LAST AND I MEAN LAST RESORT.) They litterally knew my mothers situation and preyed on her for their profit and money. I will for ever pass on the bad word about this business, thanks for serving our elderly!!

Brought my Truck to Jerry based on a referral. My truck was having problems shifting into 3rd gear so needed a professional opinion. Jerry definitely knows his stuff and will tell you what you need, even when you don’t want to hear it...like “you need a transmission rebuilt”. In addition, they found broken motor mounts that needed to be replaced, which they were able to take care of(thanks for catching this) two birds one stone. Long story short my truck is running great and bringing it in for it’s 1st 6K mile transmission service.

Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had an older transmission needed for a high performance off-road application and Jerry was very knowledgeable and understanding of what needed to go into it. As a professional heavy equipment tech myself, it is refreshing to see someone take so much pride in their work. Work was completed in the promised time, and they even stayed open late on a Friday evening (6:00pm when they were supposed to close at noon), to help multiple customers including myself.

It is seldom in the getting your car fixed life experience that I have been as satisfied as I have been with Matsco. The service was exceptional. I didnt have to deal with unexpected charges or additional costs. I was shown the parts that were removed from the vehicle and giving a concise explanation of the what what wrong and why the work was done. No work was done before I gave approval. The support staff was courteous and informative. She was always pleasant and helpful. After reading the other reviews on Goggle review for this company, I was somewhat hesitant to take my vehicle to this shop. I am glad I disregarded the review as Matsco had a good reputation in automobile repair circles. No surprises, great service, informative staff and I can now forgo the purchase of a new vehicle. I spoke to the owner numerous times and can not for the life of me figure out why brusk was used in a description in a previous review. Courteous, open and responsive would be a more accurate description of my experience with the owner.

After talking to several different transmission repair shops, I chose to take my vehicle to Matsco Transmissions because I was impressed by the way they honor their work with a warranty package and the fact that Jerry has over 30 years of experience in this field. I felt very comfortable in doing business with him. Now that the work is done and Im driving my vehicle, I couldnt believe the difference it made and how responsive it is. Jerry Miller is a liar and a horrible person to deal with. I originally went in for a band aid fix that was to cost $300 and it was to come with a 6 month 6000 mile warranty. As time went on and the price grew to $1500 I was eventually neck deep in a complete transmission rebuild. Jerry informed me that a complete rebuild would have a 3 year some odd mile warranty. We agreed on $1500 for the rebuild and when I finally got the call that the work was done Jerry gave me a total for $2146. I disputed that and eventually got my truck back for the $1500 that he originally quoted me for the complete rebuild. When, I went to pick the truck up I was already so mad that I didn’t notice that he had left the 6 month 6000 mile warranty (for the original band aid fix that we discussed before the complete rebuild came into play) on the paperwork . Now less than a year later my truck is leaking fluid and when I approached Jerry for the repair he was very rude and demanded more money for a job that should have had a 3 year some odd mile warranty. Jerry proceeded to call me a liar and walked off in the most childish of manners (not even willing to hear my side of things and stated I’m not going to argue with you when there absolutely no arguing taking place). Jerry is the rudest, greediest, person I’ve ever done business with, and I’d highly recommend that everyone else take their business elsewhere. He had my truck for months, the price change numerous times, he did in fact lose my paper work, and used my copy to make his own copy right before trying to charge me to fix the problems I paid him to fix the first time. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR A SUPPOSED UPSTANDING BUSINESS OWNER TO ANYONE!!! Jerry Miller is a liar that doesn’t stand behind his word instead he tries to hide behind faulty paperwork and when that’s not good enough for his consumers he runs away like the weasel he is. Also, he completely broke my exhaust which I was forced to pay out of pocket myself. I don’t even think he deserves the one star he’s getting from me (he is only getting one star because that is the only way I can post this warning to all the other hard working trusting people that may cross paths with this snake).

This place quoted a price that was competitive with the dealer, but then raised the price to include a transmission cooler. The owner said it was necessary or he wouldnt warranty the transmission. Also, he required regular transmission service to be performed by him to maintain the warranty. I found out later that he subcontracted the transmission work to another shop in town, so technically it wasnt even replaced at Matsco. In all, almost $7k for a transmission that was originally quoted at $4k. I had to pay as I needed the vehicle.

I had Matsco rebuild my transmission and later redo the brake on my vehicle. The service was fantastic. Not only did they do a very good job on what they were tasked to do, they caught a number of problems that my other mechanic had missed. They kept me well informed and gave me options for the repairs. They also did only what needed to be done when they easily could have padded the bill. I will go to them rather than anyone else.

Jerry did a great job putting a transmission into an Eclipse a previous mechanic ran a dump on.When I took it back to check for leaks, he checked on something that was up with my steering as well as replaced a sensor to get my oil light to go off without charging me a dime.Great work.Great guy

I have worked with Matsco for about 2 years on my auto repairs. Jerry is a very busy man and very direct. Reading some of the comments, Im sure some people dont like to hear what he has to say and his down to business approach...something I prefer to deal with. Hes not the cheapest in town but fair priced, and all the work thats been completed for me has been satisfactory.

This place is awesome! I go here for all the work needed on my Cadillac, the owner talks to you before performing ANY maintenance and lets you know the costs in advance. He doesnt talk down to women either! 10/10 will visit again.

Jerry is awesome and clearly knows his stuff. After having my transmission filter changed, I decided I wanted to have the transmission flushed because I had no idea whether the previous owner ever had it done. Glad I did!!! I was 3 quarts low and fluid was burning. He charged me a fair price and my transmission shifts like a new one again!!!! Love the bird, Jerry. If you ever get tired of it, let me know!!!

Lost my invoice. Price kept changing. Told me if I paid him cash deal, id get a discount. That never happened. Customer service was horrible. Very demining when speaking to customers. Does decent work, but rated very low for not setting the right expectations and for being combative when asked details on invoice. All over the place when trying to explain charges.

The entire staff was very helpful with all of my questions and concerns; I appreciate their patience. Great place to visit, will be back for future services. Highly recommend too!

They kept their word on the price they quoted me and cut me a deal- reasonable pricing! Also, and most importantly, theyre trustworthy, which to me is the most important thing in a mechanic. I will come here for every fix I need on my Alero.

Last year when my 2006 Cadillac SRX developed a serious problem, I was in real trouble to find a shop that would give me a straight answer and work with me on the ‘must do’, the ‘should do’ and the ‘do later’ repairs. After paying Jerry a reasonable cost to inspect my car, he walked me through the entire repair list and worked out the estimate with several variations, either way it was going to be a lot of money. He talked me back from the cliff when I asked “what is it going to take to get it to a point I can sell or trade” and he told me he would not do half the repair so that I could dump the problem on someone else. That was when I really knew quality of character I was working with.He explained the cost of a new used car would likely be the same as the repairs, and that it was a good investment for the value of the Cadillac. I AM SO GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM! He worked with me to pay for the repair while he found the parts (which I know was not easy I tried for months on my own before bringing it to him). In the cases where they just could not be found he had a reputable machine shop make the needed part. the original estimate only changed after he included the 12 month warranty and explained every detail of his work.All in all I trusted Jerry and spent a small fortune to rebuild my Caddy, and it is like having a new car again!Furthermore, I want to add that I was in the shop on January 29th when the alleged “aggression” and “Fraud” are said to have taken place by Hectic Productions (or should I call him Hector S, Yeah I see what you said on Yelp too). What a shame, from what I saw Hector brought out a wad of cash and dumped it on the desk and then started haggling after the bill was read, he started to growl about “cash discounts” and then walked out in a huff after saying “why are you charging tax on a cash deal”. The way I saw it he was the one who was trying to defraud the government not Jerry.I have seen kids come into Jerry’s office at 5 minutes to close with a car smoking in the lot and overheard him patently listen to the kid describe a run out brake pad, and zero oil engine. Jerry just calmly explained that they would be better off going to AutoZone and that it would be a lifetime investment in their own knowledge to learn to change pads and oil. I actually saw a light turn on over the kids head. But Jerry didn’t have to be that nice, and especially to take the time to talk them through the problem. Oh and yeah, the reason I was there so close to closing was because I was racing in after work like that kid.. But Jerry still made time to see me and update me on the work to my car while I made the weekly payment.

Matsco Transmission has been good, on time service, quality work and products. Highly recommend!!!

I am very disappointed with the customer service and timeliness of the work that we received at Matsco! This October will be a YEAR that we have waited to get our car back from this shop and we still have yet to get it back. All repairs (over 3k) has been paid and we are still without our vehicle! We drive past the shop a few times a month and it is always parked outside out front in the elements--needless to say, the interior and exterior took a beating and our car was on display for thieves. Our front and back seats were stolen and Jerry took his time...Im talking MONTHS to get the problem resolved! My husband has had this classic car garaged for many years--even during his overseas assignment and it only took a year to ruin it. I dont recommend this shop, Im not sure if the great reviews he has received are legit but I can tell you that they do not take care of your vehicle or the customer.

NEVER going there again! Customer interaction with the owner was brusk shall we say. The up-sell attempt for Transmission Service was outrageous, and I literally paid (read: gouged) almost $100 to get a Battery Service to a brand spanking new 1-week-old-battery, that basically amounted to doing nothing more than washers being put onto the terminals to force them to make tighter contact. No, Im not kidding or exaggerating. AND he defended the price with a straight face and didnt even offer any token Ill give you a bit off, since thats all we could do for you.So.....I paid, IN FULL, to get my car out of his hands and back in mine.......and now Im here, venting my spleen, into a review of somewhere where I just should have heeded the reviews and never gone to.It is my hope that one day, he screws over some lawyer with too much time on his hands, by pulling the same stunt on him, that he did on me.

This place is a complete sham I took my 98 mustang in because the transmission was stuck in 5th and informed the owner jerry he said no problem that they would drop it and inspect it when he was all said and done he tried to charge my insurance 3 grand to rebuild it when a brand new one was only 1400! Well they said no and I didnt have 3 grand so I told him Im sorry I just want my car back well thats when he tells me its $900 just for the inspection! I was in shock as he had told me it was gonna be 300 at max! And I barely even had that! He said it was my problem! Now I have a bank loan that Im struggling to pay and no car! Thanks jerry you will never have my business or anyone I know if I can help it

Had problems since I drove it off the lot and more and more problems keep poping up never had any problems befor I took it to them. I look under the truck and every single bolt or nut was loose that they touch and I mean more then 5 turns loose. Been having electrical problems that never happened before. And Jerry wanted to charge me 600$ to add a new radiator and trans cooler when the one on it was fine, he said it was restricted flow and was plug up when he charges to do a flush. the hottest the tranny ever got was 200 towing a 10,000 5th wheel up a 2 mile long 3-4% grade and wouldnt warranty the transmission in less I replaced all of that. When I already paid him 2600 for a rebuildDont go here worst place ever and will have problems even after you get the work done

The worst experience of my life they lied told me towing was included when i informed them that i had insurance and they would pay for it i informed them that it was an axle that was broke but they insisted on trying to take my transmission apart when nothing was wrong with it came back with 6 different offers to fix my car first was $897 then went down from there lowest offer was $581 without parts being included they completely tried to rip me off i still had to pay for the tow and for a diagnostic which came to $278 not to mention i had to wait 3 hours just for the diagnostic i call J&C auto which is 5 mins away they only charged me $150 to fix my car without parts got the parts from OReillys which only cost $121 and he gave me a ride to OReillys being as that i was driving from California to Texas he had me back on the road in 1hr 30min tops car works great now thanks to J&C auto
