Sam is one of the most experienced BMW technicians in Albuquerque. I took my 2013 128i to Sam and he was able to call my car warranty company and had my car fixed the same day. He dealt with the warranty company on his own I didnt have to do a thing. Sams prices are most reasonable and his expertise is priceless. Highly recommend!

I took my BMW to Sam on a recommendation from a family member. Needless to say, the recommendation was a great one! Sam took great care of not only my car but was very professional and friendly throughout the entire process. I needed a brake fluid service and Sam had it completed in under an hour. All this for a fraction of the price of what Sandia BMW offers. I will definitely be returning for any other repairs and maintenance I will be needing in the future. It is time to give a shoutout to a local business that went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I had initially taken my german vehicle to Hans Wittler for a basic oil change and overall checkup. Long story short, it went in without an oil leak but left with an oil leak. After calling Hans Wittler to get my car in they said they are booked for weeks and I can drop it off but they dont know when they will get to it. They didnt care to help at all..... I called Sam at German Precision and even though he said he was also booked for weeks he told me he can look at it in between jobs that SAME DAY! He took care of my vehicle within 2 hours of dropping it off. Luckily it was something minor but this shows the love and respect for his business and his customer service. To top it off he didnt want to charge me since it was something minor (obviously I took care of him). Sam has earned my business and as long as I have a German vehicle I will take it to Sam at German Precision, I would recommend you to do the same!

Was referred to German Precision by local mechanic for work on a rear main seal on my 11’ B8 A4. I was very happy with timely work and quality outcome. I’m a hard judge when it comes to commitment and outcomes. He was a man of his word and even showed the failure of the seal. Highly recommended!!!

My recent repairs at German Precision may honestly have been the most pleasant experience with an automotive service provider that Ive ever had. Sam does fantastic work at a fair price, doesnt try to sell you on any repairs more than necessary, and seems genuinely passionate about explaining whats going on with your vehicle mechanically for those who are interested. All told, he got me back on the road for less than half of what was originally quoted by the dealership. Ive had my M3 worked on at different locations in ABQ and wanted a change mainly for just a lack of good customer care. I contacted Sam and just through conversation and his knowledge of BMWs, I felt like it would be worth my while to bring my car to him for an oil change and to check the wheel rub I was hearing. He called me within an hour or so with the diagnosis on the wheel rub (a broken plastic panel dropped down and was contacting the tire when the wheel was turned fully to the left), but he also discovered badly worn top shock mounts that I had no idea were damaged and producing a noise to which Id become accustomed. The cost for all the repairs and oil change were very reasonable and when I had to bring it back to him the next day for a bad relay to the headlights, he found a used part and charged me nothing. He also had the time to oil the door handles and fix the front spoiler trim which was slightly out of alignment. Overall satisfaction is very high, and I will be bringing my car to Sam of German Precision auto repair in the future.

Drove into Albuquerque with my check engine light on (Mercedes diesel) right before a holiday weekend. Sam saw my car immediately, & diagnosed the problem before I had finished lunch next door. He fixed it the next morning, and even picked me up at my rental! Fantastic experience. And reasonably priced. If he wasnt 1700 miles from home, Sam would be my regular mechanic.

Had a unique problem on a (new to me) vehicle that left me on the side of the road, Im new to the city so after a quick online search decided to have the tow take my car to Sam at Precision German and I could not be more satisfied, he was able to work me in and ran a full check of the vehicle to determine the problem and fix it. Our window regulator decided to go out at 5:45pm Friday afternoon, leaving our window stuck rolled down with a thundershower rolling in. We called Sam- he immediately took it in, got the window rolled up and ordered the new part. We’re going to have it replaced on Tuesday.

Went to another place for an alignment and they said my transmission fluid was low when doing an all point inspection (no dipstick on a VW, btw). Went to Sam on a referral from a co-worker for an expert opinion on German cars, and he said that he couldn’t feel or see anything wrong with it. Put my mind at ease and saved me who knows how much money. He has my business from here on out.

The best German shop in town hands down. Sandia BMW quoted $1500 for a Fuel pump change on my 335i with an aftermarket pump. Sam changed mine out with a brand new OEM pump for 60% off of that price. Finished it within one day. Sam knows his BMWs. no other shop can beat German Precision in Albuquerque.

My BMW 525i had some serious timing issues and I took it to another shop that quoted me $2500 to replace a ton of parts, some of which were fairly new. I simply wasnt about to be suckered into paying for service I didnt need. I decided to go elsewhere and by chance found German Precision down in the search results. I decided to give them a call and it was by far the best thing I could have done.Sam, the owner/mechanic was incredibly knowledgeable. He listened and offered advice. I seriously felt he was an old-time friend. He explained everything he wanted to do and why. I felt completely at ease with him working on my car. Frankly, for the service I received, I was blown away when I got the bill. Super reasonable. In fact, I almost felt like he should have charged more for some of the services he performed because I know he did more than what he actually charged for.Bottom line, Sam knows how to service a BMW and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone (and I will).
