Great place to enjoy peace of mind. The Cinnamon Tree Team is always available and ready to meet expectations. The clean open areas, the Guest house with pool and other amenities, the candid and persistent smily attitude, are few of the things you will find when living here...

Cinnamon Tree apartments is nice but it isnt without its flaws. The neighborhood is in a bad area.The criminal element is really terrible.The apartments are cute but they do have unwanted roaches but Cinnamon Tree dose it best to spray for them. There maintenance isnt to bad and rent is reasonable. All-in-all its ok.

I wish I could rate it lower, this place is awful when staying on top of things, they don’t spray the complex enough to where there’s an infestation so severe that you can’t see the wall in the second bedroom; they said we’d be put down for a deep spray, no one ever came, and the managers and maintenance don’t even care about doing their jobs, please don’t move here. Please.

This review is mine as a visitor. I dont live there. But friends of mine do & they are happy with their place. Apartments are reasonably priced. The complex is kept up & looks nice. Courtyards, trees, and grass with a park style barbeque to use. Some wings are more quiet than others. Pool & hot tub have not been open for 4 years! Will never be open... one reason after another is given. (Theyll show you pics if the pool & include it in their amenities list to get you to sign a lease.) While the surrounding area is a bit rough, the complex feels safe with full property fencing & security gates. Ample parking. Occasional car break-ins but that is all over Abq. Overall, the apartments are ok!

So far, so good. Moved in about two weeks ago, and no complaints so far. Office staff is perfectly courteous and professional - special commendation for Fo, hes a sweetheart. Had two maintenance requests which were literally immediately fixed. Lived all over the country and honestly this is the fairest priced apartment youll find. Security gates are an added plus, brand new machines in laundry room, love the greenery, overall excellent for an apartment complex, especially in the war zone.

Outdated, small, and overpriced apartments. Roaches seen inside and outside of the apartment. Very loud location, sirens can be heard throughout the day and night. Insufficient parking. Limited hot water in the evening. Gates malfunction throughout the week. There is mold in the bathroom extractor fan that permeates the air and stinks up the entire apartment. It falls into the toilet and begins to grow there as well. The cooling/heating unit is poorly placed and is ineffective at cooling/heating the apartment. The apartments are located in a poor service area for cell phone reception and service. Rusted sinks are simply painted over. I do not recommend.

Lived here for 2 years, when I renewed my lease I had no issues but of course when I’m ready to move out they want to overcharge me for an extra month. My husband spoke to “new management” and informed them we would not be renewing our lease. When we returned our keys they told us we would be charged one more month because we didn’t give them notice, when we obviously did. According to them the person we spoke to doesn’t work there anymore so they decide to take advantage and charge for an extra month without us actually living there anymore. Also charged us for new blinds a month before leaving that we never asked for. Would not recommend this place to anyone if they asked me.

My partner & I have only lived here for a month but so far we absolutely love this apartment complex. Our loft is comfortable and we have a great view of the green open space where neighbors walk their dogs everyday and we can see the gorgeous sky change color as the sun sets. So far we’ve only had to request for 1 visit from maintenance but they fixed our problem right away & were very nice. Stephanie in the management office is also very attentive and has always been of assistance each time we’ve needed since before even moving in. We really look forward to the rest of our stay here as our first apartment in Albuquerque.

I lived here for almost 6 years. It was a great experience! Any maintenance requests were completed the same day and done properly. I never had any problems with roaches. Management was always friendly and helpful. I only moved out because I wanted my own washer and dryer. Would go back if needed .

I gave 5 stars because i had an awesome two years living at Cinnamon Tree. Any issue I had, had nothing to do with the staff or anything in my apartment. Maintenance was always prompt and friendly, always took care of work orders the same day. Never had a bug or rodent problem. Just pray you get neighbors that are quiet since the walls are a bit thin. I highly recommend this place for young people starting out with their first place. Affordable, convenient location and management will work with you as long as you communicate!

Avoid at all cost. This apartment community managed by MEB is the most dangerous property in Albuquerque. Not only will the management breach contract performance (i.e. no laundry card, fake fees, repairs met with broken fixtures), they allow for weapons assaults on the premises without evicting the responsible parties. BEWARE of this community and its location. AT CINNAMON TREE APARTMENTS. YOU ARE TAKING YOUR LIFE IN YOUR OWN HANDS!

I have been living at Cinnamon Tree apartments since February 2017 and I dont agree with most of negative reviews! First of all - there are NO cockroaches at my unit! Secondly, yes I agree that this area is not in the best part of the city, however monthly rent is reasonable. If you want to live in the nicer area - be prepared to pay $500-600 more for the same size apartment!Office staff and maintenance crew are very helpful and professional. I personally have never had any issues with them. Grounds are kept very clean and washers&dryers are being regularly repaired.

Tons of Cockroaches. Noise above you under you side to you. Super tiny apartment. Unsafe parking. Basically trash. If you’re normal people, Pay $100-200 more somewhere else. Stay away from Central Ave. Stay away from Cinnamon Tree.

Worst apartments I ever lived out. We had people fire shots outside out building people breaking into our cars. Homeless people around the complex. Management was horrible didnt care about your complaints or your safety.

Small units and not as nice as it is presented to be.

I havent been here very long, but so far I really love it here. So far its been a great place for my kids, plenty of places for them to run and play. Rent is affordable and if you have to pay late because the way your check falls, its not an arm and a leg for the late fee. If you talk to them and let them know whats going on they understand. Maintenance works fast, when I first moved in i had a door that didnt shut all the way and they fixed it the same day I called.

I lived in the apartments with my SO for a little over a year in a loft. It was my first time living in an apartment and I loved the layout and being on the top floor is a plus. We rarely ever encountered bugs but if we did see any, pest control would take care of it right away. Maintenance was also quick to respond and effecient. The walls are kinda thin so hopefully you luck out and get decent neighbors. I had an issue with getting mail. I tried receiving three different things and gave up using this address for anything because I never got them. Were moving out due to recent violent acts within the complex and I dont feel safe with how late I get home from work. Theyve recently installed a gate system that hasnt gone into effect yet so maybe things will get better for those of you on a budget and looking for a place close to several other locations. Overall, I enjoyed my time here while it lasted but I would recommend staying here if youre tight on money for a year or two until you can save up to move to a nicer area.

Was denied over the phone cause of a burglery charge that happened years ago... I make good money now just to call and get hung up on because the lady was not trying to here about different avenues of getting a co signer ...

Realtor lady was very rude. She kept trying to make me sign a contract without having seen the actual apartment. She showed me the showroom and expected me to sign a contract based on how it looked. When I insisted on seeing the actual apartment, she rolled her eyes and said with an exasperated sigh come on. I get why she didnt want to show me it. The apartment next door had crime scene tape all over it. No thanks.

The maintaince team are alwys polite and quick to fix the problem. I salute them.

Here at Cinnamon Tree in the south parking lot my car has broken into and as for the apartment the outlet are not working or its lose for the plugs, and modles in the bathroom and the stove needs repair or Needs a new one. Windows needs repair as well or cleand.

When I first moved in I noticed roaches, I have been living here for 4 months now and I still see roaches even after pest control has sprayed several times. Its gross. Only some of the washers and dryers work, but maintenance has been fixing them. The walls are kinda thin, its annoying that I can hear my upstairs neighbors footsteps everyday. Other than that I havent had any more issues here. This is a decent place to live. It is close to my school and job, and my rent is affordable.

Worst apartment complex in the entire world its such a shame its a really pretty complex with really nice grounds but try to get a good night sleep with the roaches crawling all over you I lived there briefly for about 2 months and I would sleep with my lights on and I would have to flick shut off my body through the night AKA roaches theyre in every apartment that Ive been in in that complex and they do nothing about it oh yeah they have someone spray but it doesnt work so unless youre really down-and-out and cant find anywhere else to live dont rent those apartments out

This apartment is probably the worst one in the entire Albuquerque area.When you look at the amount of rent, some may consider this place since it is relatively affordable. However, you have to pay the price for that. First and foremost, the wall is paper thin which allow you to hear EVERY conversation your neighbor makes. If your neighbor is one of those who turns music loud, your wall will be banging. Secondly, the apartment is surrounded by the most dangerous area in Albuquerque and I cannot remember the night when police wasnt around the apartment. One time, I went to the laundry and freaked out that police was hand-cupping a criminal. The surrounding area is extremely hostile and absolutely no place to walk or jog. Lastly, Ive seen so many cockroaches in the living area and bathroom. All in all, I do not recommend this apartment to those of who are new to the Albuquerque. Choosing Cinnamon Tree Apartment was definitely one of the worst decisions that I have in my life and I am glad that Ive move on from it.

Place looks amazing from walking about kept up to good degree. However, pool was not up and running exercise equipment not maintained at least 3 pcs not working. Walkways are soggy and wet early am have to walk around and residents have to exit the apt to go to cars by jumping over soggy walking path ok after dry. Trash and broken glass was scattered in many places some individuals are parking under covered parking spaces no one cares. And there are many vehicles that have cobwebs around them indicating they’ve been there for awhile. Initially I was not given a choice to have a 1 Bedroom in a no smoking Bldg forgot that little detail. Gates have been open 24/7 what is security for if there open. Is this a storage facility for broken cars?

Garbage. Apartments are dirty and old. It wouldnt be bad for the price if they ever did any upkeep or didnt scam their tenants out of money by not charging their rent on time, then requiring late fees in 3 days or you face eviction.You cant ever park ANYWHERE. and I hope you dont like your car windows either because several get smashed in every night while the security guard sleeps in the box. Save your money and your time, and RUN away from this place. Leaving as soon as my lease is up.

I recently finished my year lease on a studio apartment. Overall, things were good. There were no issues with neighbors, crime, or vandalism. Office people were always helpful, and I never had a maintenance issue. However, roaches were an issue until I pulgged up every little hole or opening between furniture and the floor molding. Also, appliances are old, but they still work. Nice place for the price.

I love the grounds of the location, in the summers it’s green and fresh! Everyone is very nice when I leased my apartment.

Pros: They got a gym with decent equipment, lots of parking spots, top flight security doesnt ask questions anymore, and there is hot water. Cons: Someone stole my license plate and plenty of others plates. Lots of thieves, havent had much bugs crawling around, but i hear plenty about them. Old cat lady is always yelling in the morning, and it sounds like elephants live above me, every step is amplified.

I would visit and stay sometimes with my mom there and one day my sister and I decided to go to the swimming pool and my mom was at work. We got kicked out of the pool because apparently the person under the name of the apartment which is my mom had to be there. Im a 21 year old, do I really need my mother there to baby sit us?? Did we really look like we came from the streets??? I dont think so. It was ridiculous!The reserved parking is a total joke. Random people would park in my moms reserved parking mostly all the time. My mom decided to apply warning stickers on those cars because the office people never did a damn thing to fix the problem.Apartment itself is okay. Roaches come out from everywhere even if you keep your apartment clean.

I have lived in apartment for 4 years. I liked in there and never had any major issues. It was close everywhere and I biked to work all the time and walk to nearby stores and never felt not safe. I kept my apartment very clean so rarely seen any roaches (maybe when they got lost and wandered from the neighbors place). The office staff was very nice and helpful. The one issue I had was with laundry room, it seemed like most of the washers and dryers were broken all the time and the laundry card machine was not working more often then working.

Listen to other reviews... price is not bad, cockroach problem, security is only for visual deterrent, rent WILL go up, and you will most likely not get any of your deposit back as they deduct every single items they can find...including carpet cleaning fee (I have no pets, and a bit OCD clean!)

I moved out of the CT Apartments nearly 2 years ago and still cannot stand to think about my experience there. I had a newborn and a 1.5 year old child at the time. My truck had Army gear stolen out of it. No respect from people there. My tools were stolen. My neighbor was a drunk that I called the cops on 3 times. The 3rd time I did the front office people finally evicted her. The place was absolutely, and I cannot stress this enough, absolutely 100% infested with cockroaches. I once pulled a small box of artwork out from under my sons crib and the entire thing exploded with cockroaches. Security was a joke. Oh and never ever be a single day late on rent because the women up front will post rude and aggressive notes to your door like your a common criminal. And the late fees are outlandish. Please please please for your health and the health of your children DO NOT LIVE IN THIS PLACE. Also a guy got shot in the parking lot directly below my apartment. I used to live in building M. Look it up. It happened. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Hello Mr. White.I am writing to you to voice my concerns regarding theft and violence at the Cinnamon Tree Apartment complex. My daughter lives in the North building. In May her battery was stolen. In June her car was broken into and stereo and personal property was taken. In July her rear window was smashed. We will be terminating her lease due to unsafe atmosphere in this complex. I have been in contact with EVALUATION SECURITY who you hire to patrol complex. I have reported both the break in and the vandalism. They have advised me that Cinnamon Tree only employees one guard, that they are under staffed for the size of this complex. I have contacted front office regarding break in. Your staff was rude to the extreme. Prior to my daughter signing lease and I as cosigner. We were assured that there was adequate security. That was a lie!

I lived there for about two years while I was going to UNM. Listen to what everyone is saying, there is a bug problem. Mostly cockroaches, but for me in particular I also had another problem to deal with on top of that. Bed bugs. Oh yes, you heard right. I thought bed bugs didnt even exist anymore. Yeah, thats what I thought to until I lived there for those couple of years. I tried to get rid of them all before I moved, but unfortunately some followed me to my next residence. Total nightmare to get rid of.Grounds are decently kept and the laundry room is serviceable. Dont expect your clothes to come out smelling like daisies though. Dont forget other people are washing clothes in the same washers you are.Neighbors can be hit or miss. I knew some residents who never had a problem, but unfortunately for me I had some drug dealers next door and people who played extremely loud music all night in the apartment beneath me.Security is a joke really. They just sit in the hut in front of the property and wave you through. No resident list to check or anything of the sort.When you move out they will do two inspections. One where youre there and they say everything is fine, and then a second one when youre gone to tell you theres a huuuuge list of problems supposedly. Goodbye deposit.Pay close attention to the five star reviews saying theres no bug problems and everything is great there. Theyre copied and pasted multiple times. Word for word.For the price, you get what you pay for I guess. Although the rent will increase with each new subsequent lease. Sorry to tell you.

Been there about a year. Pretty much love it! Strong shower, great water pressure, strong AC/heater...awesome grounds and pool...true, the neighborhood is shady AF, but the complex is REALLY NICE....and they seem to do a good job of keeping the riff raff off the grounds....plus, MARIA in the front office is really nice, maintenance always responds WITHIN MINUTES! I dont understand these negative reviews? Buncha complainers, whiners and moaners... I walk to work, up CENTRAL AVE, at 3 in the morning....and NO ONE EVER messes with me! You know why? Cause you mess with me...Ill give you THE BIGGEST SURPRISE OF YOUR SOON TO BE VERY SHORT LIFE!!!! Act like a victim, youre gonna be a victim....but, yeah, THE PLACE IS AWESOME

Jeep was stolen in the middle of the day today parked in the usual parking spot. We were told when we moved in August 2018 that this is going to be a gated area, still not completed!!! So much for that!!!!

Decent price on rent, you only pay electric for utilities. neighborhood can be rough. had cockroaches since day one, they came in and sprayed twice in the first month but it hasnt helped.

*Update: Ive moved out and no matter how clean you leave the place, you can forget about getting your deposit back. First of all, I was a model tenant for over six years. I was never late on my rent, never caused problems. Ive lived in three different apartments and each time left it immaculate, same as in this case. I shampooed the carpets knowing they were going to be ripped out and discarded because they are remodeling the older apartments when a long term tenant moves out. They claimed there were burns in the carpet which shouldnt have mattered because they are tearing it out whether theres damage or not. I even went out of my way and purchased drip pans for the ancient stove which I had to find online because the appliances are from the 70s. I am planning to fight for my deposit. Then they said I owed $1,097.00 in rent when my rent was $733.00 per month plus the $100.00 month to month fee because I stayed one month after my lease expired. Where the rest came from Ive, I have no idea. Beware of this place because they will screw you any way they can upon move out.************************************************Ive, Ive lived here for three years and my experiences with Cinnamon Tree have mostly been positive. The maintenance crew totally rocks! You call to fix a problem and they are there within 5 to 10 minutes tops. I am partially disabled and they have gone out of their way to help me when they didnt have to. Ive never had issues with management except for one person and I dont think shes even there anymore. They are usually helpful and Ben has always been great. Laundry room does tend to have issues, you usually take a gamble with the dryers because half of the time youll find one that doesnt dry. They are fixed promptly, however, thats after youve spent money just to determine it doesnt work and then you cant get reimbursed. They probably need to upgrade the vending machines because they NEVER work and it would be nice to have a vending machine that contains laundry products. The grounds are well maintained and the pool as well. Its true, the walls are super thin and you can hear EVERYTHING next door, and things you really dont want to hear. Its not true that the cops are always here. On occasion, but thats anywhere. I consider this property safe considering the area its in. Theyve done much better with security being here more often and security actually does their job. But I rarely see the police here. Bugs are sometimes an issue. Ive lived in three different apartments since Ive been at Cinnamon Tree and only had cockroach issues in one apartment. Besides if you ask management for the exterminator to come by more often, they will adhere to your request. The only other complaint I have is that the keep raising the rent. My rent has been raised three times in the three years Ive been here, basically every time I renew my lease. Otherwise, overall, Cinnamon Tree is a 9 out of 10 in my opinion.

For the corner of Central and Lousiana, Albuquerque... You know what I mean. Its decent. The grounds staff, maintenance staff,and office staff work hard. Tight parking, security tries to keep misc cars out. Its Albuquerque, so ya roaches, but those I saw were always on their way to the grave. Listen to pest control when they say dont spray for bugs yourself, they wont be in your bed. You only get the bugs you invite. Internet access was good. Staff tries to keep up with the old laundry room. The grounds are clean The other inhabitants were either nice or kept to themselves. The air system was bad, but I got the impression that my cooling system was different than everyone elses. Make sure you check. Reason I left, mouse poop in the freezer, must have been stored the unit in a field, no living mice, just the blower sending me the presents. Single guy, eat out alot, for $500 a month, you get what you pay for I guess, studio unit was functional. Now I miss the storage space.

When we called up and asked if any apartments were available, the agent said there were four rooms ready. However, when we showed up 10 minutes later to the leasing office, they were “sold out”. Sounds like racism.

DO NOT RENT HERE. my place was broken into on jan 24th by our upstairs neighbor and they stole everything! i had told management about the issue. i called APD twice on them for lawrence threatening me, my upstairs neighbor. i also told management three times and nothing was done. the manager Benjamin told me since our lease was up on feb 1 2018 we would only suffer a $25-50 move out fee since we left on the 24th of jan 2018. these crooks at the cinnamon tree stole half our deposit! *$240*. on top of that, when we first moved in, they asked for a $180 application fee. $150 was refundable, but ONLY within 24hours, otherwise the $150 was lost. *no one told us that!!*, with the assistant managers approval, crystal garcia , she told us we were in the wrong, but since we were in a bind, we were stuck. when we were infact in the right, so in essence, Cinnamon Tree stole $150 from us from the very start!!!! This place is garbage!!!!, the security guards at night just watch their cell phones and do not do their job, YOU WILL NOT feel safe here, do not rent here. Cinnamon tree is trash!! Find somewhere else to live, you CAN do better.

Living in Cinnamon Tree apartments was one of the worst decisions I had ever made. The management is completely rude and unwilling to help tenants, they are nonchalant, patronizing and unprofessional. The apartments themselves have paper thin walls and a surplus of spiders/cockroaches coming to visit you daily. Be very careful when looking at the model unit as your apartment will be a HUGE downgrade from this, your appliances will be old yellowed and gross, your countertops will be tattered and warped. They will try to sweet talk you by talking about a security guard (which is almost never there) and student discounts etc etc. Do not fall for this! This apartment complex is shady and incredibly sketchy to live in. Do not, under any circumstances move in to this apartment complex.

Broke lease and moved out after 6 months because my studio apartment was broken into. Mgmt tried to cover it up and closed the window and put the screen up with out even notifying me. After a few days of questions one of the security guards said they caught my neighbors nephew breaking into my window and they caught him. Im glad nothing was taken, but they made me pay for the jacked-up blinds and the screen. Also they never did anything about the stench coming from the neighbor next door. Hes probably the main source of the roaches. Also I had to call the police for serious fighting in the parking lot twice in the short time I stayed.

So I move in mildew on ac cabinets are mess up drawer dont close in the closet upstairs they put the door wrong cant get in well to store stuff I move in and now they want to exterminate now I have to take things out my cabinets what a inconvenienceHope it gets better

Since May 2016, My starting Family have experienced the best options here.so there is a little roaches floating around. but what apartment doesnt have bugs. least of my worries.parking is awesome. this place could upgrade on parks.but the laundry room is excellent. weight room is great. swimming pool is perfect.nieghbors are ok. everyone sticks to theyre own. plus rent is amazing.Mr. White is a life saver without his guidance my family would be on the streets.for those who are hating. if you were expecting bangkok palace your in a wrong state. this apartment can be awesome if you make it that way.if you are working on getting a home to own. living here is best start to save for a house.i have never had anything stolen. never had problems with security or Nieghbors.i give this great place 5 stars id give 100 stars if it was posted.Thank You Cinnamon Tree

Pros: Nice office staff. Pet friendly. Most of the neighbors are really friendly. Nice clubhouse and pool. They have cookouts with bouncy house. Good maintanence outside and inside.Cons: High volume of gangs and homeless people on Central. If new to this area, the whole city is ghetto with gangs. This area from San Mateo all the way to Tramway is called the WarZone. True Fact! Dangerous outside complex at night. Security only comes on weekends in the evening for like only 5 hours or not at all. Experience a shootout in complex across from my building. Rude and crazy old lady as a neighbor that forever banged on our floor because she could hear every step we took, dont live above her cause she might evently kill someone. Roaches! They come out of the drainages or clacks unless you use your own money to close all cracks. There is frequent pest control every month but still the bugs are there to stay. Ceiling cracked and water leakage came in when rained really hard. Hard to find parking at night. The wifi at the clubhouse works if it wants to. The new flatscreen at the clubhouse got stolen 2 days later. Beware the 2 hawks they have, because they will attack you! And there will be dead birds everywhere.

Not bad for price, lived there 6 months.

Probably the most grungy and nasty place in Albuquerque there are more roaches in the appartments then anythingWould rather be homeless then move back to theis apartments

A welcome change in office staff gives it 3 stars. The grounds crew is responsive. Less local foot traffic would help too, but security does what it can.

Ghetto

I was live in apartment before have bad area dangerous most of everyday I went work every night get home morning people get bother me from work and they look for drugs and party and fight steal my things that why I not like there I move out of those apartments no have guard gate security did not check for any reason drugs or alcohol or weapons

We live in this place for eight months! In general good but the apartment had many roaches, as they sprayed but inefficient we had to do it on our own. There were noisy neighbors and smoking marijuana without caring that there are children and pregnant women. He dirty laundry area. The gym and the pool very well. They also stole a package that came in the mail when we were away and a flower pot that I had on the door of my apartment
