I work here and its great company with awesome benefits and competitive pay. I work in plant #2 Shift #2. The shift is Monday through Friday with maybe a few Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Shift #1 is 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Plant #2 is small and a good plant for beginners. Most people have been here for years and are very friendly. Alatrade is also a NO KILL plant, and in my plant #2 we process legs and thighs only. And everything is very clean. We have a sanitation team that completely sanitizes every night. Not too over-whelming. You can pick your own plant and shift when you fill out your job application at the hiring center. Trainers Kimberly and Diego are wonderful, Maria in HR at plant 2 is great. Supervisors and Line Leads are great, and Alatrade is 100% Employee owned! If you are under 40 and stay here until you retire you will retire a millionaire or even a multi-millionaire. Thats possible through the ESOP program which costs you nothing to contribute too. Alatrade is the first chicken plant to become employee owned!! We own it!! Come work for your own success!! QAs are extra friendly and talk to you with respect. My job is super easy and (90% jobs here are easy) and time goes by fast.The plant has their production down to a science so everything runs smoothly. I am a people person, but If youre NOT a people person and not good at customer service jobs then this job is perfect for you! You can listen to music in your company approved ear phones and go into your own little world and stand there do an easy job and go home! Tell them I sent ya. No trucks on Brown St.Have to take Wagner to Paragon.Overnight parking available at the Walmart down the street.Call the numbers on the signs near the entrance until you speak with someone.Make sure you have a VEST, pickup # and a pen.I arrived at 1645 for a 0200 appt the next day.It wasnt ready so I waited at the Walmart.Plenty of space to maneuver and friendly workers.In a door at 2100.Out by 0200.

Employees are good but very very very slow for loading

If your gps takes you to brown street thats no trucks street. Go to the next Wagner dr and make a right on paragon dr. It was Saturday evening I still used brown street by mistake though. Because it was too late. I noticed the sign after I made my turn. At first I thought the no trucks sign is for the parking lot. Thank God no cops were around 😜

The biggest positive of this company is understanding what its people in the area go through. The pay is decent for what it is, but their willingness to rehire is what makes this company better than most. Good insurance, good business practices for the most part. Start off at $10 now. Put me as your referral if you come here please.

Turn on side street that has a small sign that says shipping & receiving. Small plant no overnight parking they may even have you drop your trailer. They charged me to add a load lock when they never asked me for a load lock so I would just throw one or two in the back when getting loaded. Loaded me in about 45 min once I got a door. Walmart about 2 miles down road thats trucker friendly.

I worked her for 1week and started having problems for one the people thats training you here are biporla and very rude and mean and unclean people they see chicken on the floor and just throw it back on the line like nothing happend no cleaning it off never again well i work here
