8:50 p.m. sitting in the Dollar tree parking lot after being pushed out of the store due to their closing for the night. I could have sworn when I was a child and was taught to tell time that 8:50 was most definitely not 9:00 p.m. and my 17 years and the customer service field Ive never seen a more rude and considerate manager that could care less about his customers needs in any way shape or form just how fast he can close up and get the hell home. My time as a customer service manager I didnt necessarily like some of my duties but if it required me to stay over a few minutes or even a few hours to take care of a customers needs that was my job and at times that most certainly would happen but again the 10 minute closing announcement is made every time Im in the store at 8:40 when most certainly the store does not closed until 9:00 p.m. the doors are locked each and every time before 9:00 p.m. as I was walking out at 8:50 p.m. to customers were turned away. Poor customer service if I must say so myself who am I to judge tho. I could understand if this was a one-time incident of me visiting the store but this is each and every time I do understand Im a last-minute customer most of the time but I also work nights and have to do shopping myself and I feel bad but I cant go without just because you want to close your store 10 to 20 minutes early each and every time but I will most certainly be finding a new store to shop at.

Had all sorts of Halloween decorations as well as fall decorations. Bought a dollar mop for lake and didnt break the bank on anything.

No trees? Definitely wouldn’t cost a dollar. The store is green and cement. 2/3 of my three fears. The third is bears. They’re just big like that.

I was in there shopping and when I left I got surrendered by two police saying that I stole some items from there. Well I didnt steal from them and will not go back there. I know I am not perfect but ask me first if I did it.

It’s a bit dirty and the floor looks very odd and just out of place. This store could use some major updates and remodeling. Heck a whole new store would be preferred.

Dont shop there a lot but I always walk out w stuff! Its fairly clean and not terribly crowded

They have an assistant MANAGER in the store in Albemarle who is so disrespectful to customers that it’s a wonder customers aren’t protesting to have the the store boycotted to have her terminated as a Loyal Customer who goes there almost everyday I’ve decided enough is enough a will take my business elsewhereIf I could give zero stars it would be but as I said

I usually love this Dollar Tree, but as of today I dont know how much longer Ill be shopping here. it was 7:52 when I walked to the door ,I knew what I wanted, and where it was. I was going to get it and get out. but whoever was at the door (one of the cashiers)h the door locked and was standing there not letting me in. but literally seconds before I got out of my car he let somebody else in. But told me that they had to be out of the store by 8. that is the biggest lie I have ever heard. Ive worked retail before so usually when your store closes at 8 youre given 30 minutes to an hour to work your drawer back down get it ready for the next day and clean the store. whatever these guys had planned after work was obviously more important than their stores reputation. and yes Im going to be that person that writes this review and speaks to management tomorrow. maybe they will learn that when their hours say till 8 p.m. they will at least not lock the doors until 8 p.m. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It would be no stars if that were an option. After picking up 15 items I got in line at the cash register. After waiting for two or three people to check out it was one customer finishing her transaction and another with items on the belt, then me, and at least one other customer behind me. The manager comes up and slaps down the closed lane and walks away. When she came back a few minutes later I asked if she intended to let me proceed? She said no that the cashier had to leave at 3:30 because of the budget.Anyone who has ever worked a service job knows the schedule normally status on Thursday or Friday so you can cover your busiest times and then cuts are made on the back side of schedule to meet budget. So Im calling her on telling the truth on that one.I left $15 dollars worth of items in the cart and walked out because I wasnt about to move to the ended of another long line after already waiting.So $15 dollars not sold. 15 items that now have to be put back on a shelf and a customer that will gladly take her business to Roses in the next parking lot over.Kind of blows store budget.

Store manager needs to work more often and be a better manager. Unless they bring in help to stock the store it is always a lot of empty shelves. I have bought several can openers recently and none work more than two days. The stores 15 or so miles away always look awesome. That store is in locust NC, the Albemarle NC store needs a lot of help.

I love the dollar store but this one particular has employees that make you feel at home- they all deserve a raise ?

Lots of items to choose from from pets to home goods to seasonal. Great prices and good selection. I love not having to go to the bigger stores to find what I need.

The store is a mess,and not properly stocked at all. The freezer area is very limited in what they carry. Or maybe another section not properly stocked. This store needs a complete makeover because Albemarle is a growing town and Dollar Tree needs to grow with it.
