Took my wifes truck to Sun Plaza to get it cleaned up. It wasnt that terribly dirty but it was full of Malamute hair. Malamutes shed profusely! The young man, who did 95% of the cleaning, did and outstanding job. I have always received a good car wash there, but today was the cream of the crop cleaning. The new manager was a really nice lady too. I complimented her on the job the young man did. I gave him a great compliment too.

Was new to the area and went to get my oil changed because I have had great experiences with Valvoline shops before. Def a terrible experience. Customer service wasn’t the best overall. But the worst was they damaged my vehicle. The under carriage protection plate was not reattached properly and fell as I was driving away. It is damaged from being dragged on the ground as I drove back. It needs to be totally replaced. The guy who did my oil said I don’t need it and didn’t care. We have tried to get into contact with the owners because the manager on site is no help and have been unsuccessful. It started almost a month ago at this point. Definitely do not recommend! They do not take ownership of mistakes.

I will start by saying I used to go to this car wash all the time an they used to be amazing. However I went today for a car wash and vacuum I was there for over an hour and a half and finally told them I was done to put my mats in there and I was leaving. They have no work ethic or organization every employee there went to my car and did something. The entire time I was there they finished three cars. I asked the guy working on my car why it was taking so long and he said they was short staffed. However it was the same amount of people that used to work there it is just the quality of workers and the organization. I tried to go in the building an complain an no one was at the desk. I asked another guy how much longer on my car and he told me he didn’t know and walked away from my car several times. I would not go to this car wash pay an extra and get a professional to do it for the amount of time I was there.

I was very pleased with the service there today and I will go back again. One of the detail guys even opened the door for my Mom and wished her well. Like many places 2021 has them under stuffed and working hard to keep up the pace..I thanked the workers there for coming to work. Keep up the good work!

I understand good help is hard to find now days, but someone needs to oversee these kids. They are inexperienced and dont care about the quality of work. This place has really went down hill the last few years.

Fast and clean. The only place Ive found in three counties that will wash and clean my Corvette properly, in less than 30 minutes. No appoint was necessary.

Oil change. On the positive side, everyone was friendly & we were in and out quick.The downside is our engine light never came on until after the oil change as we were pulling out. Not sure how an oil change will trigger a check engine light. We went back & I think he should have offered to redo the oil change to make sure each step wasnt skipped over or done to quickly. Hopefully this wont cause problems on my long trip tomorrow.

So I paid the top price to get my car cleaned. Asked if they wiped everything down with like armor all etc and was told yes. I was in a hurry because I was going our of town. When the young man said everything was done I jumped in the car and left. Driving down the road looking at my car...NOTHING wiped down NOTHING vacuumed. The only thing clean on the inside was my floor Mats! Will never go back!

Highly recommended for all of your car washing and detailing services! Had one of my vehicles detailed that has been neglected for a year or two now (lack of driving due to covid). It looks as nice as when I bought it - wish I took pictures before taking it in! Looking forward to bringing in another vehicle or two in a couple of weeks to get detailed as well.

So my car had not been cleaned in a long time. Bad on me for that one. The people here were so friendly and really did an amazing job! They got my car so clean and took their time making sure everything was done right. After everything they walked through everything they did and I was very pleased. Will definitely be visiting again.

Theae guys are the absolute best. I took my van to get inspected and washed. I only use it occasionally for hauling stuff, so it sits under the tree parked most of the time. It looked awful, full of sap and pollen. I paid $5 extra for extra muddy. They pressure washed and sent it through. When they saw that it didnt get clean, they took it around again, had three guys scrubbing and pressure washing and ran out through again. Best service anywhere! I have been taking my business there for years. They are so worth it!

No complaints, they were efficient, nice and did a great job. You pull up, pay with a machine that makes it easy to order what you want, put it in neutral and wait. Easy.

If you decide to have your car washed at this establishment, please, take careful consideration before applying for the subscription. I requested on the day that I purchased the subscription for the it to be canceled after the services were rendered for the month. However, the following month I was charged $69. I called to figure things out, however, I did not receive the courtesy of being called back when I was notified the manager was unavailable. The next call that I made, I received the manager and he told me that he would take care of it. The following month, I was charged the $69 again. I called, and the manager, Chris, said that would take care of it in 30 minutes. It was not taken care of, and I have been charged again. I live in entirely different state now being apart of the military, and the lack of dependability is appalling. I am going through the trouble of canceling my card, and we are considering taking legal avenues if this is not straightened out immediately. I hope this helps future customers reconsider the subscription offered at this establishment.

I use this car wash every week. I have always had my interior cleaned in the order I was in line. Last week and week before they cleaned 3 cars ahead of me. Today I was the only car in the vaccum bay. They were cleaning my car stopped in the middle to clean the car that came after me. WHAT IS UP.

I paid for the $27 package plus $5 for dash shine. My rims were still dirty ( not even the inner hard parts) but visibly dirty. The interior didnt even look vacuumed, the dash had dust, you can see where they wiped and where they didnt and same with the doors. Before I paid the girl gave me a run down of all they do with that package so i got it. It was my first and the absolute last time I go. Complete waste of money!

It was very quick, and the wash was pretty good. Much better than a regular drive through wash.

They were a little busy but that doesn’t excuse the quality of service. Staff was nice & apologized for the hour it took. Driving away I noticed that the inside of car was barely touched. They vacuumed it, wiped down 1 of 4 doors but didn’t clean the windows or the dash. Not what I paid for!

The difference between this place and a normal car inspection is the friendliness the people here had to offer. They do a really good job. The $6 exterior car wasH is a bargain as two people use a brush to go over the car before it goes through the tunnel.

I put in an application for this place, got an interview 5/12/2020 at 12pm didnt get to my interview til 2:30-2:45pm. Now, I know I have a stain on my record that happend over 10 years ago. But also within those 10 years I gained 5 years experience. Explained the stain, and thats the only trouble Ive been in. was told to fill out new hire paperwork and when I was done chris should be done with the cars he had and could talk to me then. Well he immediately got in his truck and left for lunch and i was told to come back tomorrow for a second interview. I called today 5/13/20 and Chris answered the phone, the one Im supposed to interview with.. He hangs up on me midway through me asking a question so, all Im trying to say is everyone has a past, and can come from that, and move on? Why cant you? To all employers who stumble across this I just want to work support me myself and I, just give me a shot.

I work across the street from Sun Plaza so its very convenient for me to take my vehicle to them and have it cleaned. I drop it off and pick it up later which works out great for me. The staff is always nice to me and make sure Im happy with the job they did. I would recommend them.

The detailer(s) are always so polite, courteous, helpful and friendly & seem to be happy even though it has to be a tough job out in the weather summer and winter. I hope the management realizes what an asset they are and actually gives them the recognition they earn. I only dropped a star off because the equipment is showing its age, or neglect. Seems like it could use an update, or a intense maintenance plan to rate 5 stars.

A great place to have your car washed with care with staff to have your oil changed if you need that. Also car inspection is available if you need that. All these services are affordable and staff are friendly. I will return!!

The workers were really nice, but the service was terrible!! Windows did not look clean at all ( which I told them was the most important thing to me) the vacuuming was also terrible, they vacuumed the mat and didn’t bother the carpet underneath. The outside of the car from being washed looked really good, Once again the windows on the outside still had some dirty spots

My sister took her car here to get a basic oil change. Well the idiot that did it drained the transmission fluid and put twice the amount of oil it needed! If you work with cars you should know the difference between oil and transmission fluid! Never coming here again and suggest if you care about your car you do the same

Car wash was good but the extra service wasnt. Complained about having to help clean the inside of my SUV. Didnt vacuum the seats or floor boards well. Even laid down my third row so they wouldnt havent to clean the back floor or back of my seats. Wouldnt go back for service but would for the wash.

The staff is very courteous and helpful but I hate having to wait do their special customers can cut in line. It takes forever to get a car washed.

On February 14, 2017 Sun Plaza Car Wash damaged my brand new chrome wheels by not retracting the Tire/Wheel brushes, which I had requested prior to sending my car through. While the car was going through the car wash, I observed the brushes scrubbing against the tires and wheels. I brought it to the attention of the managers as soon as the car was wiped down. The managers were cooperative, took pictures and referred the matter to the owners. I then wrote a letter to the owners. Without a response from the owners and three return visits to the car wash, its now six weeks later and the owners have not had the courtesy nor the professional ethics to respond to my requests. MY ADVICE TO YOU: DO NOT RUN YOUR CHROME WHEELS THROUGH THE SUN PLASA CAR WASH IN ALBEMARLE, NC. .

My car was washed on the outside but the inside wasnt touched. I paid $36 and was furious. After taking it back, it still didnt look much better. Ill wash my car myself from now on.
