Got what you need for farming and for taking care of your lawn and garden as far as equipment goes. I was glad to see the Stihi blowers and other equipment as well as the complete line of John Deere. They service what they sell and they are good long standing members of the community. Employee turnover is low so they bring many years of knowledge about their friends and customers as well as agriculture. A good business that has deservingly stood the test of time.

Always a good place to get what I need. Normally have the Stihl dealer, big selection of parts and service. Employees in all the locations I’ve been, have been great.

Are usually patronize the John Deere dealership in Salisbury. However while looking for a subsoiler they did not return my calls or emails. I went to the John Deere dealer in Albemarle and was properly greeted at the store treated with respect and left with a new subsoiler. They have an extensive inventory of John Deere products as well as still. The have a huge inventory of tractor implements in stock. Looks like I found a new John Deere dealer.

I asked them to come out and service my tractor which had not run for many years. The serviceman installed two new batteries and was very helpful. All it needed was the batteries. He was there less than an hour and said they would send me a bill. I thought all was well until I received a bill for $483.00 When I called I was told the batteries and cable were $350 and the labor was $120. I feel like they took advantage of me and overcharged significantly for both parts and labor.A year later I had an hydraulic cylinder seal fail. Not knowing where else to turn I asked them to fix it. The mechanic and I worked together for about two hours to replace a small plastic seal. The only part replaced was the seal. They sent me a bill for $409. So again I believe I was grossly overcharged.Twenty months later both of the batteries failed to hold charge. They told me they have a 12 month warranty and I was lucky to get 12 months out of them. I know not to buy John Deere batteries now.

I bought a John Deere lawn mower 15 or 20 years ago from them which has (and still is) running great. They have usually performed the annual maintenance on my mower which typically has been around $100 per year. For these reasons I purchased a compact utility tractor and several implements from them when the need arose.Being inexperienced, I followed their advice and bought a used John Deere compact tractor with no warranty. They said if there is a problem with it they would take care it of it and since its pretty difficult to test drive a tractor, I accepted what amounted to a handshake deal. I had no idea just what they meant with that handshake.The two problems that surfaced were a failed electrical part and a bug that somehow got into the fuel tank intermittently stoping the fuel flow. Neither of these problems could have been known or anticipated at the point of sale but their response has been wonderful. They sent a highly skilled mechanic to my house to replace the electrical part. They picked up the tractor to drain the fuel tank to solve the bug problem and delivered it a day later.Due to my inexperience Ive had countless questions for their service and parts folks all of which have been answered throughly and patiently. The work done by their mechanics and parts people has been fantastic and I dont think any NASCAR race team is any better with their race cars than these guys are with their tractors and mowers.This business stands tall with their products and even taller with their customer service and that means the world to me.

A good place to get John Deere parts

Got a John Deere D130. Have had nothing but problems with the tractor. We just got the John Deere worked on 2 weeks ago and my wife got out to cut the grass around 5 pm on Friday. Now it was in the 90s and when I called the women tried to tell me that the belt came off because of dew being on the ground. I am in my late 40s and I have never seen dew on the ground at that time during the day. This woman came up with every excuse in the book so that they would not have to fix what they didnt fix 2 2 weeks ago. Will never buy another John Deere. I cant make your mind up but be prepared to pay a lot of money because when something messes up they will saw that it is not covered so that you will have to pay.
