This has been a great experience each time Ive gone. I went to purchase boxes for moving and returned a few times to exchange/purchase different ones. Each time Jason P. and Dave were polite, friendly, and helpful. They also helped me get the boxes to and from my car which was much appreciated! Excellent customer service and kindness which is rare. I just had a trailer hitch installed on my ford crown vic great job! Very precise work.Perfectly lined up. Fast easy service.with only 2 people working that location,and as busy as that place is. They still managed to commit to the 7:30 am appointment.Went there to pay the bill and the car was parked exactly where i left it perfect!!!!!! great work guys thank you! I was treated like a king there as well.

Brought my 2011 Mini Cooper S in to have my trailer wiring harness problem diagnosed. The right rear directional was not working. The tech tested the four way connector and told me it was the module and that I needed to replace it. He then attempted to sell me a new module and installation. Luckily for me they did not have a module and were unable to source one. The problem was properly diagnosed as incorrect connection to the specific wire for the directional. Will never seek advise from them again. Dodged an expensive bullit.

Called at 7:40 stressed because I needed a hitch for a long trip scheduled the next day. Nick said they had the one I needed in stock, but said they had another appointment and couldn’t install mine in time.I arrived and John, got my new hitch installed and I was out of there is about 30 minutes.The fellas wouldn’t let me tip them for there ABOVE and BEYOND service so here I am to tell you that they were exceptional!This was more than getting the hitch put on, but relief they gave me from reducing me stress about the situation! Great job fellas! Highly recommend!!!

I will absolutely use NO other U-Haul provider. Literally. These guys are outstanding. Every other U-Haul experience I have is horrible, EVERY other. Not these guys.

So-called contactless pick up didn’t work because the truck was not where they said. So my wife waited in line for about 20 minutes (on a weekday afternoon) while I searched around the entire parking lot for the truck we rented. Found it in a totally different spot. We got out of there in about 30 minutes total. Could be worse but it was pretty annoying because we had a lot to get done that day. Guy who pulled the truck off the yard was very friendly though.On top of that, we’re in the middle of Covid and of the two staff members inside. One had his mask bellow his nose and the other wasn’t wearing a mask at all.

Went on a Saturday morning. Took maybe 10 minutes to rent a 17ft enclosed trailer. Didnt have far to go, and cost under $50 including the gas I had to put in the truck. Staff was fast and efficient, dropping back off was simple. Just waited in the truck and was on my way in about 5 minutes. Definitely a great value and positive experience.

Went to my storage unit today, gate was wide open (so secure), people were patching driveway, no signs... was rudely told I couldnt enter, cant I read signs? And dont drive in their cement. Finally got to my unit(they were patching just about every section so was hard to find a way in) just to find new doors had been installed and new locks, couldnt get in. Had my son go to desk while I stayed at unit, some kid went and removed lock and just left, never said a word to me. Found my lock inside, but everything had been rearranged and couldnt get at what I needed. Also never had notice this had been done! Tried to leave, one construction person told me how to get out, but as soon as I tried they blocked exit with cement truck!! I was told quite rudely well we cant move the truck as well as some body gestures and faces. Went to store to report and the assistant mgr. just looked at me and nodded his head. Great customer service there (insert sarcasm) I worked in retail 25 years and never treated or was treated as poorly as I was today. I was also put on hold for 20 minutes trying to call, was put through to customer service and ended up hanging up, totally frustrated!! I pay on time every month, but not to get treated like this!!!

These guys are the best of the best! I rent trucks, vans and all sized of trailers regularly here AND at other locations -- it seems like I am here more than I am home!This loaction of all the different locations I visit ha the best, most awesome team that functions quite well together!

The communication with this company is so bad. You cant even talk to the company or location you are working with, and their help center is not helpful at all.

I am here sharing details about 2043-45 Central Ave. Albany, NY, 12205 employees. I have been using U-Haul for a while now and never had a problem with them until I came and rented a 9 Cargo Van and was charged such a expensive quote for the time I had the vehicle. I spoke with someone named Jason and he agreed to one thing but charged me something else. This location is very deceitful and not promising. You are better off using Budget Or Pendle for your moving needs.

Had a terrible experience here trying to have a hitch installed on my car. Made an appointment 11 days out, where I had to pay the few hundred dollars ahead of time for confirmation. Was told someone would call me to give me a time for my installation and no one ever contacted me. After numerous attempts at finding out when I would be able to come in on the day of my appointment, including one call where I was told that my appointment was set for 6 days later then the original date and that they dont have any time for me that day, I went in personally to find out what the issue was. They stated that they ordered my part 5 times but its on backorder so wasnt in yet. No one told me this even once over the phone, they just kept up with the excuses. I spoke with corporate who told me that my part was never even ordered by the location. I will NEVER go here again or recommend this location to anyone. Buyer beware. Only positive was that there was no fight when I asked for my money back, they put it on my card without hassle.

Thanks to Nick, the manager at the store in Colonie, I was able to find a hitch quickly when I was under a time constraint. When it comes to hitches he is the one to talk to.

Great rates, great selection of vehicles, from big to small! Also, they have many moving supplies from boxes to tape! Also decent prices on propane tank refills!

We had rented a 1 way 15 to NJ from here and received the truck, everything went along smooth until we saw the back tire had a crack in the sidewall and was very low on air. We had not left from the area yet and called UHaul roadside. They were not helpful at all. However we called the location back and Daniel helped us swap out the truck and move all our boxes. He was a great help and turned a possibly very bad experience into a positive one. 5 stars for him, but need to knock 1 off for the fact that we were given a defective truck earlier in the day. Roadside assistance also needs to get their act together as it was not pleasant or helpful dealing with them.

Fast and easy, exactly what I needed from it. Nothing of note to make the service stand out, but this was the first time Ive rented a truck and they made it painless so no complaints from me.

They were very accommodating during our last more allowing us to keep our trucks longer at no extra charge.

When I call in to make my monthly payments I can never get thru. Always on hold for over 10mins.

Come on Sunday around 11am. Only one person work here. I spend 1 hour to pay for 2 boxes and furniture pads.

Quick service. Organized store with a decent number of trucks in all size and in good working order.

I woukd never recommend this location. The manager had a bad attitude, was discriminatory and rude. The truck I rented stalled at every light and the battery died! They charged me for an appliance dolly and gave me a very flimsy box dolly. How are you folks even staying in business? I will never recommend anyone to you.
