We used them for our Staff Christmas party. They were amazing! The food was delicious and everything was on time. The staff were very professional and friendly. We will definitely be using them again.

I had a very enjoyable experience with Daphne and Lydia. They showed up on time. The response leading up to the event was very well done. They cleaned everything up as well. All my co-workers keep raving about the food. They loved that they could taste the different flavors and that the food didnt taste processed. I would use A Catered Function again! :)

This is the worst and utter failure of what a catering service should be. We purchased food to feed 138 people. There was not enough to even feed 20 people.we were provided a list of what items they will be providing. Only to be provided sams club bucket of chicken salad, pulled pork, and stale buns that the caterer daphne did not even use sanitary process to serve the lack luster food. when confronted about the food. she played coy and said she left food at her house and will have to go back and get it. 2 hours later to only return with fried chicken fingers from walmart.the servers she provided did not know how to set up the equipment leaving our company to do the set up. The servers were also there to act as gamers for our casino games. Neither server knew how to play any casino games. But instead decided they were going to partake in the festivities of the party. This women needs to stop scamming businesses and people out of their money and needs to be reported to the better business bureau. To which will be my next action.when informed that we will be taking legal action against her. she has disappeared. when i try to contact the corporate offices. Their number is no longer in service. Please do not get scammed by this disgraceful excuse of a catering company.please go to yelp to review the real experience of her scam.

Please do not utilize this catering company. Do not allow yourself to be enticed by the affordable pricing and sales pitch. 1) Hazardous Food Preparation; unclean/ unsafe kitchen practices 2) Misrepresentation of performance ability; they are incapable of executing a successful event unless the budget calls for outsourcing and I mean their budget not yours. I met Daphne and Adrian Woods and was originally impressed by their conversation and the experience they claim to have. I too have industry experience and worked in the culinary industry for 13 years so I was excited to see what they would do at the corporate event they were being hired to cater where I would be in attendance. When the day came to execute the event I was appalled by the unsafe practices, lack of knowledge and professionalism. I would ultimately report them to the health department for not having the proper licensing. Not being Serve Safe Certified (Food Handling Permit). Not having a commercial kitchen (they cook in their homes and hotel rooms without proper refrigeration or storage. 3) Unclean warehouse practices. If you drive to the listed address you will find a dirty warehouse with a loading dock full of dirty catering equipment exposed to rodents and the environment. 4) No running water where they wash dishes using bottled water and no sink when state requirement is a 3 compartment sink for washing, rinsing and sanitizing.I would later observe them transporting food on the back of a truck in 100 degree weather for over 4 hours, mixing hot and cold food in the same storage without proper heat or ice required for the menu items placing their guest at risk of food poisoning. I observed unpolished and unkempt staff with little to no knowledge on serving, etiquette or professionalism. I observed the staff making punch next to raw chicken in the back of a building where they set up a kitchen without the benefit of a tent, gloves, water access as well as a list of other concerns. I would bear witness to staff bringing in dirty dishes and wrinkled mismatched linens at the start of the event to serve and present food. I received a response back from the health department stating that Miss Daphne Woods was informed to obtain proper licensing. The report would also state that because they were not caught in the act of cooking at the warehouse they could not be charged but were warned that a state zoned commercial kitchen was required. After reading one of reviews listed here I would see that both Daphne and Adrian Woods are conducting business as usual which is a bit of a shock but not. These woman run a shoe string operation at best and you the consumer would be well served to place your trust and hard earned dollars into a catering company who has not simply hung a sign on the door and refer to themselves as a caterer. Check the facts for yourselves and read the other reviews outside of the one that I am presenting. Also if you read the 5 star reviews here and on other sites you will notice they always post after someone writes a negative review and the language is always similar which leads me to believe that they are writing their own positive reviews to sway consumers.Best of luck to you.
