My son was getting married at a resort in Boltons Landing and I needed help with my 90 year old Mom and my two dogs. I was extremely nervous as we had to travel with everyone and were not local to the area.Debra was so accommodating and introduced me to two wonderful people. The service giver for my Mom was so patient and professional and my Mom was able to enjoy every moment of the weekend.My dogs are extremely anxious and Crista won them over within a few hours. She went from room to room taking care of the dogs and stayed in touch with me every step of the way. She quickly learned their patterns and was amazing. Thanks to Debra and the extremely competent staff we were all able to totally enjoy the wedding weekend and honestly I trusted both Laurie and Crista so much that I didnt even need to check in with either of them as they totally took care of everything. Laurie was so wonderful that everyone assumed that she was a family member.Debra went above and beyond, as did her staff. I would recommend her and her services to anyone. AMAZING!!

A New England nanny saved me. I love working with children so this is the perfect job for me. I have had two jobs with them. The transition has been smooth with both. Both families I have worked for have been a dream. And I know if I were In need of another job, they would not hesitate to help me find one. The ladies in the office are wonderful. Always friendly and always willing to help. They are also very encouraging when you are job hunting. I plan on staying with them for a long time. The families trust them. I trust them. I am writing this review to inform others of the awful experience I had with New England Nanny. If I had the option of giving them ZERO stars I would.When I was first inquiring about becoming a nanny through the agency and was looking for a long-term placement with a family, Melissa was more than available to help. While NE Nanny supposedly prides themselves on assuring that the family and nanny are a good match and that if any issues arise that they are available, that was not at all the case when some serious issues arose. I had safety concerns for myself when the children became physically violent and out of control towards me, which later turned into a legal battle once I left and the family refused to pay me for my services. When I had reached out to Melissa for support on multiple occasions I quickly noted that she either did not seem to take my concerns seriously, and at a certain point did not respond to my requests for assistance or acknowledge the ongoing issues. She informed me that there was nothing she could do, yet ignored my simple requests and seemed to be more concerned about the family and how she was getting paid than assuring that my needs and payment for services were met as well. My issue has still not been resolved and I have yet to hear back from Melissa. Melissa can say what she wants about what they can and cant do since they are a third party, but the truth of the matter is that you began to ignore me and allowed this craziness to get to the point it did. All I wanted was for her to communicate with me and the family to help come to a resolution TOGETHER, and for me to get paid for the services I performed.If you are looking to become a nanny, be weary that Melissa will only attend to your needs when linking you with a job, but dont count on her for support afterwards. Also, be careful of the information you send to this company as I received a filled out version of someone elses background check with ALL of their personal identification information. When I brought that up, they did not seem at all concerned that they just potentially leaked someones personal information to the wrong source.Make sure to CYA with the family you are placed with and get a contract, because NE Nanny will not support you in any sense when the family decides not to pay you for your services because they are rotten and seeking revenge for whatever twisted reason they make up.Since Melissa wont tell you this and will continue to assign nannies to this household, I will; dont work for the Brooks family in Slingerlands because they dont pay their nannies and admittedly seek revenge when you request to leave due to safety concerns in their house. Their children hit me, kicked me, pushed me, locked me in rooms and spit on me. But according to NE Nanny and Melissa, this is okay because Jessica Brooks is rich and is paying her dues.I will never be associating with New England Nanny again and will do everything in my power to share my experience with the public to make sure they are not associated with this awful company either. New England Nanny, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Was disappointed. Wished it could have worked out. Worked with a nice recruiter there named Melissa, whom Id spent at least twenty minutes on the phone with, answering questions and sharing my needs for a local housekeeper. SHE ASSURED ME THAT SHE HAD AVAILABLE CANDIDATES IN MY AREA>>>> All seemed well and Id felt that she was on the case. I stressed that I needed someone who was local and who had a bunch of physical strength/stamina because the job entails a good amount of cleaning.After paying (the $225) agency search fee and working with the recruiter for over a week, it dawned on me that she hadnt listened to what Id requested. She kept emailing me results of people who werent local, or who were in their mid-to-late 50s [older than me! Ive previously hired several housekeepers in the past who were over 50 - and unfortunately, they ALL had one thing in common: they tended to be pretty terrible at housekeeping]. She also kept sending me people who (clearly by glancing at their applications) had no more than a year of formal housekeeping experience. One candidate had some odd-ball answers on their application that probably shouldve been omitted. In the end, I kept getting shown applicants with no real qualifications or formal experience, or who didnt live within the half-hour/forty-five minute radius that Id requested. It became apparent that the recruiter hadnt listened to me, or read their applications for suitability before sending them on to me. Had to request a refund and go with an agency in NYC. Would’ve loved to have had a great experience, but this just wasnt the case, Im afraid. Ive since had a fantastic experience with an agency in Manhattan who had lots of great applicants.
