Huge shoutout to AAA Hudson Valley!! I thought it was amazing when the guy got here in under 1/2 hour last weekend to jump my car - today the guy was here in under 15 minutes! The only way you could have got here any faster is if you knew ahead of time that my car wasnt going to start and were waiting in my driveway! I wouldnt live in this area without AAA!! And everyone has been really pleasant to deal with. Thank you!! By the way, it was Eric who came this morning and he was great - give him a raise!!

I got hosed on converting American Dollars into Canadian Dollars on 4/4/19. For $115.00 US cash, I got $125.00 Canadian. I guess I should have done my research ahead of time. Shame on me.

When my car decided to quit today I had to call AAA. I dont know the name of the female but she was very friendly and courteous...even with the computer acting up. I was told anywhere from 15 minutes to 1hr and half...which suxs in a freezing cold car but at least I was gonna get help. I swear within 10 minutes of calling I received a call saying my tow was on the way(Thank god..toes will be warm soon) it would be about 10-15 minutes. 7 minutes later the tow was there!!! Joe was the nicest tow trucker driver I have met!! He accommodate me as much to his ability! Please please think about giving joe a little increase because his customer service is definitely on point!! He will bring in the customers. I definitely recommend Joe as a driver! Excellent driver!! Didnt even scratch my tow hitch(which everybody does) Thank you again for the excellent service!! Big plus is I get to see the original 88!!!

I had a flat tire this morning & Honda Scheduled a service call. They were very prompt. Called me right away & gave me an update on the tech. The technician, Allen who assisted me was a great, humble very help full person. Instead of changing the tire with the spare he offered to fix it right then & there. Great service, performed by Allen. God bless him!

I needed a tow service to tow my Jeep from my home to a mechanic in our neighborhood. Even though my vehicle had a valid NY plate and a temporary registration from NYS DMV (Waiting to receive a regular registration sticker via mail), AAA refused to offer me a tow service because of not having a regular registration.NYS DMV clearly allows a vehicle to be driven with a temporary registration, as long as you have the expired registration still placed on the front windshield, but apparently AAA does not honor that and makes their own policies which are not clearly mentioned in the member handbook.The AAA member handbook does not clearly provide information about the AAA towing policy under the Service Not Included. All it says Service on nonregistered or unplated vehicles. Nonregistered is not the same as vehicles registered with a temporary registration.When I spoke to the supervisor John, he was very rude and clearly was unwilling to offer any help. He even said that he will cancel my membership for no reason.I would NOT recommend AAA to anyone looking to get a membership. Their quality of service has not been up to the mark.UPDATE: I received a call from Victor (Operations Manager) who has been an excellent source of help. I wish AAAs other staff can work as diligently as Victor so they can provide a 5-star service to their customers each and every time.

I went in to apply/change my info for new auto insurance. I was very pleased with the insurance agent, Nicola, who helped me. She was able to get the new insurance company to start my new policy right away AND set my first payment for March 5, 2019!!! Pretty amazing I believe! I would recommend going into Hudson Valley AAA if they need vehicle insurance. Great job Nicola Browne!!!

I really love this AAA. The staff are so helpful and I felt they understood what I needed help with. They arent trying to push any agenda, they just help me get good info in a short amount of time. No question seems too trivial.

Sighed my daughter up for dmv 5 hour class

I called AAA to speak with the supervisor John from so I could get a jump start on my suv. John from AAA was very rude unprofessional cancel my account for no reason. I was looking to get essential products for my family. At the end of the day were all Americans regard list of color apparently he doesnt see it that way.

Everyone was very helpful and courteous. I was able to get my flight changed quickly and without any issues. They also helped me plan my cruise and it went very smoothly.

Local franchise of national company. My parents have had a membership my whole life, my husband worked as a tow truck driver for years. Love the ladies in the office and the great ticket deals. They also still help you plan trips and driving routes. They can even still make you an old school TripTik paper map with driving directions packet! Very retro 😉. More than just a towing service.

AAA is great I feel welcomed anytime I go there and I appreciate this service having home and auto insurance really is a great way to feel safe knowing youre covered thank you very much for the chance to know that me and my family ❤️ are covered 😊

I had a flat tire today in Colonie in the rain. When I called AAA, they were at my location in 10 minutes; 10 minutes later, I was on my way. Give up your daily latte if you have to but get a AAA membership. When you need them, theyre there and a more welcome sight you cant imagine. Thank you AAA 👍

A great start to any ones morning would be to lock their keys in the car, as its running. Highly frustrated I called the 24/7 line, to which the operator was extremely helpful and nice. See sent someone to my location and they were there within 20 minutes (if that). The gentleman that came to unlock my car was super nice, professional and did the job fast. So thank you!!!

The people were prettythe girl that I got on the phone today was much better than the one yesterday I hung the phone up on her I got tired of her the one today was very nice I think her name was Tiffany I dont remember very nice I just wanted to pay for my grandsons AAA pro subscription thats all I did was fine

The woman at the front desk today was pretty rude and unhelpful. Even if you dont offer a specific service anymore (I was actually told otherwise by the Hudson Valley operator on the phone yesterday...), I wouldve appreciated a little guidance in the right direction - thats just common courtesy. If someone came to my workplace and was a little lost with something, Id at least TRY to point them in the right direction or find someone present who could help. ESPECIALLY considering I have a AAA plus membership. Other AAA locations have been fantastic, which makes todays experience even more disappointing. If I had known (had called yesterday to confirm), I couldve just made plans to go somewhere else instead of wasting my time here. If the front desk person had made even the slightest effort to help, I would feel differently.

AAA has a monopoly on International Driving Permits, and yet they consistently run out of the necessary forms. My latest experience is at the Albany branch, but this is not unique to them. It is a seemingly inexcusable abuse of their public obligations. I am not happy. Make sure you call ahead before they waste your time.

My fuel pump went on my truck today and I broke down. I called AAA in Albany because I have a basic membership but knew it would be further than the 3 miles and wasnt sure what I would need to do. They were extremely helpful and had a tow truck on the way before I was even off of the phone. My truck was at my mechanics within 50 minutes of the phone call!

I have never seen such blatant disrespect for a AAA member that is platinum by the Hudson Valley AAA call center and dispatch. The supervisor John obviously has some kind of side thing going on with Pete’s auto garage after dropping my car off And leaving it there with no one in the garage stating that they blatantly refused to pick my car up and bring it to a location where there is actually somebody in the garage as well as stating that they don’t care how long that they’re going to be out of the garage That Pete is going to be the one to do the service. John you Misogynist pompous Arrogant SOB! How dare you tell me where MY CAR is going to be repaired. You need to be stripped of your management position I would not even allow you to answer the phone much less be in customer service! I will make sure that I complain to the highest authority in regards to your behavior which is absolutely disgusting! How dare AAA allow you to represent them.

Being a AAA member, I need to remember to stop by the office more often to take advantage of their great deals and benefits. From a free passport photo, to discount regal movie tickets and six flags season passes, I always find more deals when I stop into the office.

I need AAA as I have bad luck with cars. I use it at least three times a year on a good day. Today (7/26/18) my car brakes down. I use the app and schedule a tow. I wait for the hour and nothing. I call to find out the app did NOTHING. It never sent the request. I am stranded in the city. Now I am waiting for an other hour for a tow. Maybe. So mad.

Was stranded for 2 hours and never came to help me had to get someone else to pick me and son up in the winter the second time in 4 year only time I need them they dont show up . Money well spent . Callers are great get no results. Still waiting for Mark Wells to make it right thanks for no help

Went there to get an international drivers license. The process was very fast and convenient. Just bring with you your drivers license, 2 passport size photo (they can take yours there for a fee if you dont have one) and pay $20 for the permit. Took me less than 10 mins to complete the transaction

I would avoid this store if at all possible. The one in Latham is much better. The woman that helped my boyfriend and I ( I think her name was Lisa) was very rude. She was speaking to another employee before helping us with a very condescending attitude. Then while helping my boyfriend she was very short and acted like we were stupid when we were asking questions. We went to Latham after and they were great! Yes to AAA no to the store on Delaware Ave.

Great service and knowledgeable texhnicians. When my vehicle suddenly failed to start I called the AAA Emergency Roadside number. They were very pleasant and helpful. A service trchnician arrived within 15 minutes and then a tow truck within an hour or so. Both responders were knowledgeable and worked hard to get the vehicle started. Especially driver #88 Rosario. I felt like the last thing he wanted was to tow me. He worked hard to try and start the vehicle. I appreciated that.

Great membership to have. I dont really use AAA for my vehicle I use it more for the other amazing benefits like traveling, movie & other tickets, maps of anywhere in the world and some pretty cool merchandise you dont see at other stores.

I call AAA last week I am a RV PLUS members I needed a jump start or a tow my bike I talk to Matt told me it would not be a priority it would be 2hr before anyone can help me .I sit there in the rain for over 2 1/2 hr never show up with my motorcycle some one pass by stop and help me jump start my bike at that time it was over 3 hr in the rain with a motorcycle .if I could give neg stars it would be ( -5 ). they still did not come and help me I call to cancel the call ( I was told that the driver did not want to go out in the rain ) he was waiting for it to stop. So it look like I pay a lot of money for nothing

Will never use their travel services again...had a $100. Ship credit that was never applied to my account.Asked for different flights and got no response.

The worst experience ever I called AAA this afternoon around 4:39pm and I was directed to the North Way service because my car is to be towed from Schenectady on Erie Boulevard around the Riverside Casino to Albany and I was told it would take 45 minutes for their drive to get to my location..I waited patiently until 5:30 I received a call and the caller said because of high traffic it will take them another 30 minutes then comes 6pm I called and they said we are sorry the driver is running a little late due to traffic and I wondered how much more traffic they have to go through to get to my location....I was stranded there till 7pm and no one show up only to be told it will take another 45 minutes for the driver to get there.I end up cancelling and getting a ride home without my car been tow...Very horrible and disappointing..

What a terrible branch. I was visiting from out of state and this place was a mess. Starting from the person at the front ignoring me to the obnoxiously loud guy walking around the office talking literally with an outside voice (rep told me his name was Mike). Everything in the place was disorganized and I felt ignored. I do not recommend.

AAA offers great services at good prices. This location has available electric vehicle chargers which is very forward thinking.

Horrible service woman speaks way to fast , I am old and cant comprehend well at 2am , I got a flat tire and sat around waiting for a long time for them to come , I call them back only to be told we have no one to assist you , so I now had to drive it on the rim to a FedEx parking lot were tommoraw I will Jack it up in 90 degree heat and take off the tire and bring the rim to have a new one put on , So whats with the 24 hour ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ??Only when its CONVENIENT ??? I have $15000 in merchandise sitting in my van that wont make it to my booth at The Altamont FAIR , I paid 1000 for the booth , I guess I will look into a more RELIBLE SERVICE or just skip it all together!!!!

Whoever drives the battery service truck needs to learn some etiquette. Decided to pull behind me while backing out of a spot and sit there. I drive a commercial vehicle with no side windows therefore I cannot see vehicles coming. I proceeded slowly to backup. Your driver saw me and decided to blow his horn and then stop directly behind me. Then proceeded to yell at me

The other day I had a tow and the guy was so nice to me he first took me to the mechanic I normally go to and when the mechanic tried to rip me off he helped me get another quote for another mechanic witch a better price and took my car there he was so nice and cared about if I was getting ripped off or not

Always long wait time but reliable service

Towed my car and dropped the back end into the ground. The exhaust pipe is now packed full with dirt and rocks. And there are scratches on my bumper. Horrible service. Told me to dig it out myself and made excuses for the driver who did it.

I bought AAA for my son and he has been left stranded a second time. Last night which was a Sunday 6/4/17 in Coxsackie they said it would be hours before someone can get him service. Really? Their are 3 towing companies in Catskill alone. Not to mention Ravena. I find it hard to believe they were all that busy.

“Sorry we have nobody to assist you Bc of restrictions only allowing towing of stranded vehicles...” enough said. A joke.
