Was getting an extra key made. Emails were very responsive and the lady helped setting up my appointment. So they offered to pick up my vehicle from work and return it. Vehicle was picked up on time at 8:30am and I told them in the email I get done with work around 3. They didnt get to make my key till later in the day and returned the vehicle around 5 which I was stuck at work for 2 hours. They only gave the driver the 2 ford keys and didnt have any of my other keys for my house or work or anything. Driver had to go back and they found my keys so I wasnt locked out of my house. Driver was awesome and did all he could to help but cant say the same about the people in the service department, very unorganized business and wont be returning for anything at this dealership

Salesman had bad attitude from the gecko. Walked me to car to test drive then walked away and didn’t give a tour of the car. Neglected to give keys, had to find him to give me the keys after he said he had already given them to me, yet they were sitting on his desk. 0 knowledge of incentives. Said their dealership doesn’t lie, questioned me on where I got pricing when it was on Ford.com, doubted my knowledge of incentives when it was on the internet, and insulted another local dealership. General Manager said “Have a nice day” when I addressed these concerns. Don’t waste your time with this dealership, they have zero customer service. Also zero customers in there show room.

I recently bought a 2018 f150 from Fred at DePaula Ford in Albany NY. The whole sales team went above and beyond. Fred was great, made buying a truck as painless as possible and a great dude. The finance people were also amazing. Got my payment exactly where I needed it and didn’t have to haggle over it. He simply asked, and then made it happen.They are also a very honest group of people there. They helped me more ways than one. If you’re looking for a vehicle new or used I’d highly recommend them for your next purchase.

DePaula is a great place to buy a vehicle. They are incredibly helpful and will get you in something at a pretty good price. My wife and I have been going there for years. The only downside is after you buy your vehicle don’t count on them being very responsive. It is like pulling teeth to get an email or phone call back so before you leave look everything over very closely to have it corrected while you still have their attention.

I have had a string of bad experiences with this dealership, specifically in the service department. I have had to wait a month or more for an appointment on several occasions, only to have whatever part I need not be in stock, thus having to wait another month or more to get my issue resolved. On more than one occasion, the wrong part was ordered, causing an even longer wait. It took months of waiting just to get a blend control motor put in. I have never received a call when my parts have come in and have to chase them around to find out when I can schedule my repairs. Techs were untruthful about work performed (told me the dash needed to come out for the blend control motor, which is untrue and couldn’t have been performed in the time it took to replace), generally rude, and unhelpful. While performing work, other components were damaged that I am still waiting to have resolved. Managers have claimed they’d “take care of me” when things go wrong, only to completely deny anything happened on the next visit.

I love it :) It drives similar to that of an Escape, its compact in size, comfortable, and much zippier than my Explorer. DePaula is a great place to buy a car. All the employees are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful and make sure youre welcomed with a smile (behind the mask). Its a non hostile, high pressure sales environment unlike some other dealerships out there, which is something Im sure a lot of people would certainly appreciate. Had a terrifying experience with Explorer. It just stopped dead in middle of rush hour traffic on Everett Road. Managed to get it to Depaula. Staff was very kind, diagnosed the problem and provided a rental ( based on my warranty perks) and kept me informed about the repair progress. This was not the nightmare I expected! They also provide video communication of mechanics assessing and working on the car. Thought that was a valued benefit. Needless to say, I trust them and warranty coverage or not, they are my go to guys😊

Bought my 2018 Mazda CX-5 from another Mazda dealer in the capital region and took my car there for service because of some idea of loyalty and they were close to my home. Terrible experience there - twice! So this time I decided to try DePaula which is a farther drive for me but WORTH IT. The service and whole experience is incomparable! Was treated with respect from the beginning! Facilities much nicer from the start. Josh was my service contact and he was great. Spoke to me with respect and like a person from the beginning. I felt zero pressure and felt that he truly listened when we were speaking and if I had a concern. Sounds silly but all services I requested and paid for were completed - can’t say this was always the case at the other dealer... highly recommend DePaula for any service needs. I know I will be returning and would strongly consider them when purchasing a car in the future.

First negative review I have ever left, but this has been one of the worst consumer experience of my life. I dropped off my truck for a ticking noise on July 29. The issue was caused by a faulty part which had an active recall. I was told when I dropped it off that no loaner cars were available and that their agreement with Enterprise was put on hold due to the current car shortage. After 4 weeks had gone by and no loaner car was made available, I finally insisted that one be made available since having one car was becoming a burden for my family. When I picked up the car, the gentleman at the loaner desk was reluctant to help because he had already clocked out for the day (I was told to get there by 6. It was 5:15). The gentleman at the loaner desk then went on to tell me that loaner vehicles are usually always available and that next time if services department says that, go check with him (curious as to why for 4 weeks the service department continually told me nothing was available). I finally have a sedan as a loaner vehicle (even though I own a pickup truck for a specific purpose), but 8 weeks later my vehicle continues to sit in their garage disassembled with another arbitrary date set for completion that will most likely come and go.

Had some really bad experiences all at another dealership and DePaula Ford restored my faith in good people as well as quality/professionalism from a dealership. From the minute I called to inquire about the used 2017 WRX I found on their site, everything went smoother than I could have ever expected. Jim, the sales manager called me back almost immediately, was super professional and just an all around genuine person. Shu, my salesman, met me at the door the next morning, made me feel comfortable with the whole process, and made sure I got everything I needed and wanted out of this car buying experience. Then, Tracy, the finance person, put in some major work to get me financed with the best deal she could. I never once doubted this teams skill level and customer service. They were courteous, fun, and like I said prior, absolutely genuine. They treated me like a person, not just another car buyer or a number. I test drove the car on a Tuesday and picked it up Friday morning. They knew I was excited about the car and Shu, offered to come in on Thursday which was his day off, since it would be ready then, and even after I said there was no way I’d even think about asking for something like that, he still happily offered!I can’t thank this team enough for how easy they made this!! On 7-5-2021, I contacted this dealership regarding a fairly priced used car slightly below KBB retail market value. I sent this dealer over 10 photos plus current records of condition and state inspection for my vehicle. They want a fair market KBB retail price for their vehicle and they offered me 50% OF THE FAIR MARKET VALUE for the KBB TRADE-IN VALUE for my car. That is absolutely ridiculous. Same source for their retail and my trade-in value. I would not recommend this dealership if you are looking to trade-in a vehicle and purchase one from them. Without a trade, you should be treated fairly. If the sale involves a trade-in, well, you do the math.

I found the service operation to be well run. They set me up with text alerts, so I walked over to Gateway Diner for lunch since its right there. They text me with a video of service to let me know what they did and any other information. I was out of there on time according to their estimate.Overall, it was a very painless experience. Grant it, it was an oil change but I did have some other questions and concerns that they addressed. If I had gone anywhere else they would have tried to convince me that my brakes were bad or that I needed new tires. There was no needless up selling and were honest with their assessment of the life left in all the pieces inspected. The assumption that youre an intelligent person will always be a selling point for me, so I will be back.

My experience at DePaula Ford was excellent from start to finish. Mark Minoogian spent several hours with me discussing the different vehicle models and set up test drives in three vehicles. Jim Rosamino provided cost estimates for each of the three vehicles and both Jim and Mark kept in touch with me until I made my decision. Turning in my current lease vehicle (a 2018 Ford Fusion SE) and taking delivery of my new 2020 Ford Fusion was both a smooth and quick process. I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Escape SEL. I absolutely dread car shopping but the team at DePaula were great to work with! There appears to be too much focus on upselling at the service center. As soon as one drives in the service attendant does a walk around the vehicle and tries to sell you new tires. Then, I was told I needed the vehicle to be aligned as the alignment was off... it turns out that this same service center had aligned the vehicle just about three months ago. Upon rechecking it was found that the alignment was ok and the sensor that checked for alignment was faulty. Also, servicing took longer than anticipated. Also, I was told that my service agreement that I had signed for the duration of the lease had expired and I would have to pay for the service. This was resolved by the service center to my satisfaction by not charging for the service. Not sure why their system had incorrect information.

I went there one weekend there was a lot of sales people not a lot of customer service I drove a vehicle ask what the price was he told me it was $1500 over the sticker price because I seen the sticker for the vehicle in the glove compartment I went there the following weekend an appointment the lady told me that if it’s sold before my appointment she would call me I got all the way there and I saw they said it just sold all they do is lie there And no customer service I will not return for a third time to get treated like that I will take my business where is well deserved so buyer beware

Customer service was great but the work Quality not so great. They did a motor and transmission change and when they did my motor they damaged the mass flow sensor wired along with the wires to the EGR valve, they put a cracked exhaust manifold back on and never changed any of the gaskets or spark plugs. Due to the damage to the wires on the EGR, I had to replace the valve. Never Tightened the hoses to the radiator

They made the process so tedious and stressful. I worked with Devin and for some reason whenever I called I was not able to get in contact with him to ask questions. The vehicle I chose from the monitor was not the one I was shown when I returned despite it being on hold for me. Inside the vehicle was stinky and the seats had stains all over it. When I went back inside and explained that I did not want that vehicle I was told that I was already approved for it and basically (had to take it). I refused and was told that I only qualified for a specific amount which I know for a fact was not true. After I protested they miraculously got me an approval for the new vehicle I wanted. I was told to come back and I made a deposit on it(which they are still yet to provide the receipt for despite me asking for it.) I was not contacted by anyone there to finalize anything until the day I was supposed to pick up the car I was told I needed to put down another $1000. It ended up being a back and forth and so I had to unfreeze my credit again so that they could run it a 2nd time for a new approval. I was then asked to provide my registration about an hr before car pickup when asked if they couldnt find it with my plates I was told no and then yes, which they did. They called my insurance company and gave them the wrong VIN number on the day of pickup and I had to call to fix it(he did not answer, so I sent a text and got the correct number, called my insurance company to update the information myself). I went in and got the car, when I got home one of the keys was an incorrect key. I called to let Devin know (no answer), so I sent a text, went in and got the correct key. Through all of that I said that I was not going to leave a review and let bygones be bygones, but today they sent me an email saying that the registration was done for the wrong vehicle. So, I have been driving around for days now with that!!I would really nor like to believe that it is a race thing but I definitely feel that I was treated differently than the way I saw them treating Caucasian customers. If I wasnt in great need for the car and on a time crunch I would honestly not purchase from them at all!!I have bought cars before and this is by far the worst experience that I have had. I would not recommend them or buy another vehicle from them at all!!!!

I have had nothing but the best service here, at DePaula Mazda! Their service department has been, by far, the best group of mechanics Ive done business with. Its helpful that they text car owners a video of the inspection, and theyll physically show you if there are any problems. I also have to state that I absolutely LOVE my Mazda 6! 5 Stars from me!

My Ford C-Max has only 50,000 miles and it started making a loud noise when I drove. I took the car to DePaula and they said the transmission needs to be replaced, costing $9000. Thats more than I could get for the car. I asked them to see if Ford could give assistance with this expense and nothing has happened. Right now my husband and I are sharing his car and my car is in our garage not being used. Im not sure what to do.

Have a 2018 leased Escape. It has had a number of problems; about a month ago, after a break down on an interstate we discovered the entire had to be replaced. After 8 days in the shop, we picked it up and as we were nearing home we heard a rattle in undercarriage. Brought the vehicle in to ascertain what was causing this rattle. My husband waiting 2 hours 45 minutes at which time he left and the rattle still very much with us. Nothing was shared with us as to what they did all this time to repair. Very frustrating experience.
