Ive lived here with my husband for awhile now. Weve moved from a one bedroom to a bedroom with a lofted den here. I have visited and rented other apartments, this apartment complex has so much character. I love decorating and with these apartments having so much character you can make it more of a home living in more of a unique apartment rather than the usual boring looking apartment. This has been my favorite apartment I have rented. I use my bedroom as a dinning room giving my tons of space for a livingroom and to have people over for dinner. I use my lofted den as a bedroom. I love having my bed up on top and having space underneath where I have my TV set up(especially when my husband plays his video games I have my own space to hang out). I love that there is built in shelving in my livingroom. I love having a balcony with tons of space. It has a nice sliding door and they provide you with shades for privacy. I love that there is tons of bathroom storage which most places do not provide. The woman who takes care of the flowers here does such a beautiful job. She makes the place look beautiful and is very friendly. The maintenance crew are great at responding and are helpful. We had a terrible snowstorm this year, my husband and I got stuck coming into the apartment complex and the one guy plowing didnt have to help us but he did. Melinda and Jen have been so nice and helpful. They take great care of this place. They really care about the people who live here. I am happy to of chosen this place with my husband.

I am in the process of moving in and so far everything has been great. Melinda has helped calm my nerves, showed me around and I love the apartment we viewed. The grounds are baeautifu!! I cant wait to see it in the fall. While the cost of cat deposit is high, (btw its competitive with other places), Im grateful I can keep my babies with me. Apartments that accept pets are already very difficult to find. No complaints here!

I lived her for 5 years! And from the beginning Melina was great. I moved up here from the city and had many conversations on the phone with Melinda she was very helpful and worked with us when trying to schedule a showing. I’ve never had a problem with maintenance as soon as I put a request in they come right away and problem fixed. Grounds are kept clean safe place to live. I was reading some of the reviews some just talked so badly about Melinda and Jen and I am telling you I can’t imagine either one of them being rude have never ever experienced that. I know they have had a problem with the pool this summer with keeping life guards, but they are doing their best to find people. Look I like to sit at the pool too and yes you expect it to be open at certain times . But things happen, life goes on people. Safety first!! Cut the ladies some slack!! Kudos to Melinda and Jen for keeping this place beautiful!

These are beautiful apartments! Myself and my family have lived here for over 10 years. There are several amenities that make living here a delight-including a gym, pool, outdoor playground, tennis and basketball courts, and an indoor racquetball court. The staff is very friendly and immediately addresses any concerns residents might have. The Maintenance Staff is top notch! The apartment community is very friendly, the grounds are well maintained and its very safe for families. It’s especially nice that these apartments are conveniently located near schools, grocery stores, major bus routes (including to UAlbany) and it’s a quick walk to Crossgates Mall.

Lived here for 8 Years. Was a very wonderful place to call home. Staff was always helpful and if you needed maintenance they came very quickly. I never had a issue. I would highly recommend. Keep up the good work Oxford Heights!

Not a bad thing to say about this place after 18 months. The apartment my fiancee and i live in is exactly what we expected and needed. All of the staff are friendly and helpful if there is ever anything we need. I felt compelled to write this review today because of the maintenance crew. We got a pretty bad snow storm and when i went out to shovel out both our cars the staff helped us with the plows and snowblowers without us even having to ask! A two hour job took us about 20 minutes thanks to them. Overall this is a great place to live for any phase of your life and i would recommend it to anybody.*Also a bonus if you refer a friend to move in you get a $300 check! We have made 900 bucks off of it !*

I lived here for three years and had a great experience. Management was always available and friendly. I had very few troubles in my time here and was always able to get a quick resolution. I couldnt have been happier with the landlords, it was such a relief not to have to worry about them. The rent only went up a few dollars over three years. I am only moving out now because my job is moving to Buffalo. Otherwise I would be staying Long Term.

Ive been living here for almost 2 years and have no complaints. Office and maintenance staff are friendly and professional. Maintenance issues are handled in a timely fashion. Very convenient location anything you could want or need within 5 mins.

Decent and clean environment. However, office is not friendly at all. They charged 375 dollars (which is supposed to be cat fee in the lease)for my rabbit in the cage. It takes two years for them to find out I have a rabbit and suddenly charged my money. They asked me to pay even though I can get rid of my rabbit.They said they wont allow any dogs but people are having huge dogs around. Very unfriendly and bad experience. It is a waste of time forms to live here for four years. They also ask international students to pay a whole year rent which is a big amount of money. Avoid it if your are foreigners. And they ask us to move cars during big snow storms. After I moving my car, my new car got hit and I paid 1000 dollars for repairing. Horrible service.

Very well maintained and the staff is top notch! The new apartments are beautiful and the people in the office are so professional, friendly, and helpful!

Most of the staffs at Oxford Heights are very helpful and nice. HOWEVER, Melinda Rockenstyre, the Property Manager, is one of the MOST (if not the most) unreasonably persons I have ever met.If she wants you to vacate, she would come up with all sort of nonsenses to make you leave. For instance, accusing you for something you’ve never done. When you try to discuss the issue with her peacefully and if you know anything about the laws and ask for proofs. She would get all uptight and call cops to make you leave.Friendly note: for anyone looking for a decent apartment, you might wanna look somewhere else. Not because of Oxford Heights itself (Oxford Height is pretty decent) but because of the Property Manager.

I went for a tour. Melinda Rockenstyre , the property manager was extremely rude. She was smoking a cigarette outside and standing next to a Jeep just rolling her eyes at me. Then she flicked her cigarette butt on the ground. I was disgusted!! When I went inside, I was told by the other woman in office that I was unable to see an apartment because it was still filthy from the prior tenants who recently moved out. She did not offer to show me another apartment that was available. She just brushed me off! Yet again, another rude person who works for oxford heights.I would not recommend this property to anyone!!!!! Melinda Rockenstyre really is awful!!! I don’t think I have ever met anyone as rude as her. She will continue to run this property into the ground!!!!!!!! People like her make me sick....especially when paying an arm and a leg for an apartment!STAY AWAY!!! There are plenty of other apartment complexes in the area. Please look elsewhere !

Stay away from Oxford heights!! They are the worst! It took 4 months for then to replace my dishwasher that was broken when I moved in, which they didnt bother to tell me. Right now its 550 am and my baby has been awake for 20 mins because of the extremely loud, high pitched ringing and grinding from the person upstairs taking a shower. Which happens every time they shower. This place is definitely not worth what theyre charging as there are plenty of other things wrong. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Good value considering the rent. Lots of ammenities, parking lots and roads always plowed, grass and gardens always well maintained, maintenance issues are quick to be addressed. Price chopper and crossgates within walking distance, and easy access to cdta #10.

Everything is bad here,and Cost u a lot money like having a cat or any pet else. Manager is rude when u thorw out any suggestions. And DO NOT GET LOCK OUT! ! ! Cost $50 once! ! !The Chinese do not come here to live, the rent increase is very high. Paralysis does not shove snow in winter. Especially the old woman who is in charge of the matter. Ha ha
