Best SAT Prep Class!The team at On Track Learning are wonderful! My son had an amazing experience working with his tutors. They are professional, courteous and kind. The team went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible for us. The benefits of the program were many. In addition to increasing my sons SAT score by 200 points, we also saw a boost in the level of his school work along with seeing him qualify as a National Merit Scholarship finalist. I cannot say enough good things about On Track Learning. We will certainly use them in the future for our other kids.

This was such a great ACT prep class. The program exceeded my expectations---I never thought that I would end up improving my test score by 7 points. The tutoring team at On Track Learning is so helpful and patient, and gave such tailored advice on where I could improve. The proctored practice exams were extremely helpful as well for giving a feel of the length and time of the test. Theres no way I could have taken the ACT without this class and done as well. On Track Learning really works. We used them for ACT test prep for our daughter. Their tutors and study guides were top notch. On Track helped our daughter study smarter and more efficiently for the exam. Excellent communication between their staff and our student. We are very pleased with the service and value received. Our daughter started with On Track Learning during her Junior year for ACT preparation. Initially she started in the semi-private courses which worked well for keeping her on track with the prep curriculum. During the March SIP, OTL was extremely flexible with transitioning her to private tutoring as she was determined to continue to improve her score. Her tutors were very easy to schedule and gave her good advice for where to focus her studying based on the outcomes of her ACT prep tests. We felt like the tutors genuinely cared about how she was doing and how they could help her be most prepared. Our daughter improved her ACT score by 11 points from her first attempt and will attend USC!

This is a great tutoring center that has helped my kids with their education. Especially now, with the remote learning from home it is very helpful to them to have the extra teaching. Dan and his team are experts and besides tutoring can also help focus preparation for college testing, etc. Im really happy they are available.

While the SAT preparation practice that On Track Learning provided was rigorous, it was very much worth it! On Track Learnings team, notably very kind, helped me improve my SAT score by 320 points in about a months time. Their tutoring and test prep course is very direct, streamlining issues that I struggled with in order to improve my weaker areas.

Dan and his team did a great job of understanding our tutoring needs, responding quickly to all communications, and providing clear expectations. Our daughter received tutoring for spelling and writing and the tutor did a great job of making the sessions fun.

Dan and the tutors at On Track Learning this 2019-2020 school year were instrumental in supporting my son both on site in Alamo and remotely since March SIP. My son is a resistant student who needs support outside of the home organizing and completing schoolwork. Dan listened carefully to my son’s needs. After a short phone, call Dan was able to suggest a schedule and arranged tutors within 24 hours. During the year Dan listened and responded to feedback regarding assigned tutors and made changes quickly. Dan is responsive every day of the week using all mediums of communication. Dans experience shined as he was able to zero in quickly on the initial proposal for my son and it proved successful. My son did not resist attending sessions and his confidence and academics improved. I highly recommend On Track Learning. I suspect we will be long time customers of On Track Learning.

My graduating high school senior has excellent grades, participates in extracurricular activities, and worked part time throughout high school. The first time that he took an ACT practice test, he scored a 24. In 2 and a half months of the On Track Learning program, he raised his score 9 points up to a 33. Ive heard through some reviews and acquaintances that On Track Learning offered the best ACT prep in the Bay Area. I contacted them and was very pleased with the plan and cost they suggested to help my son. With the amazing help from On Track Learning Michael and Joan, our son was able to increase his ACT score by 9 points.However, although my son has received a high score on his composite ACT score, he received an 8 on the writing portion of the ACT exam. Because of this, I believe that the program may inadequately prepare your student for any written portion of the test.Thank you so much to the On Track Learning Team!

The experience with our high school sophomore/junior was great. Our son had a complicated schedule, and they were very flexible with appointments. The amount of homework and prep was just right, and they set reasonable but challenging goals. My son was able to increase his SAT score by 200 points after working with them, and he also got tutoring in math, which helped a lot. I would definitely recommend them.

My highschool son started working with tutors at On Track in the summer of 2020 (between his 9th and 10th grade years). My son, always a good student, took a nose dive during the spring 2020 distance learning period. We needed to right size the ship and get him a head start for his sophomore year. During the summer Nate took an online geometry class (which he would take again at school in the fall) and although tutors were provided through that program, we supplemented with an On Track Learning tutor in the areas where my son was having a very difficult time grasping the concepts. Nate found the On Track tutors better than the online program ones because they were able to help him comprehend the concepts better. Later in the summer, I realized that Nates writing skills were average at best. I contacted Dan and he found a writing tutor who Nate has been working with on a weekly basis since August (Including on school breaks at Nates request). In addn to helping Nate with essays and written assignments for his English class, this tutor also works with Nate on improving his writing skills outside of the class assignments. The tutor has been very creative, getting to know Nate and what interests Nate...and then giving Nate writing assignments in those areas. In late Nov, I contacted Dan with a concern that Nate really did not know how to prepare and study for finals. Dan found a tutor to work with Nate to develop a plan for studying for his finals based on his current grades and with what Nate was hoping to end the semester. That proved to be extremely effective. Nate did incredibly well on his finals and actually beat the GPA he was aiming for. The finals prep tutor was also a geometry tutor and we hired him for two sessions to help Nate prepare for his final since geometry is a challenge for Nate. What I like most about On Track is how Dan is able to respond the the changing needs of the student and provide ongoing or surgical help depending on the student and the issue. Given Nates success in the fall of 2020 semester, we will continue to work with multiple tutors at On Track, ongoing and surgically, and we will also use On Track when we get to ACT and SAT prep.

We have 4th grade and 6th grade boys who have been going to On Track Learning since virtual school started. Its been a great tutoring experience. The On Track team has been flexible with our schedule and our boys both truly enjoy going. Dan and his team of talented tutors do an incredible job. My daughter was struggling with Algebra 1, so we signed her up for sessions once a week with Jack prior to finals at the end of 2019. He has made an incredible difference, giving her more confidence with test taking, and has helped bring her scores up significantly. We are extremely grateful to Jack for his help and expertise. As far as scheduling is concerned, Dan is very responsive and flexible. If we have needed to change the day or time of a session, he has gone out of his way to accommodate us. Due to COVID-19 we are continuing to tutor via Zoom, which is working well. I highly recommend On Track Learning.

As a teacher myself, I am always impressed when anyone who works with my children goes the extra mile on their behalf. On Track Learning did that for my son as he worked his way through SAT prep this fall. We started with an interview in the summer and Joan and Dan who laid out various plans, from individual classes to small group situations. They also talked with us about score ranges for the schools my son was interested in. There was never any pressure to sign up, just the guarantee that if our son followed the plan and finished his homework weekly, he was guaranteed a certain level of improvement. We enrolled our son for 12 weeks and he made the gains they promised, but after seeing the improvement in 12 weeks, he wanted to see if he could get his score even higher! He asked to enroll in another round of classes, but felt he was having trouble with concentration. We reached out to Joan, who was incredibly responsive. She researched, then talked through some strategies with our son in addition to the classes. It worked!! He took the test a second time and surpassed our expectations gaining 230 points! I was so impressed with their commitment and dedication to our son’s success. They addressed both his educational needs, but also his concern about test focus, which he felt strongly was holding him back. With a daughter who will be starting SAT prep this summer, I am confident that On Track Learning will deliver the same incredible results! We were so happy we choose On Track Learning - the results speak for themselves. My high school junior increased her ACT by 6 points, got an amazing score and is now finished with her college test prep. All in 4 months! The program was efficient, tailored her to her specific needs/knowledge gaps and adjusted with each practice exam. My daughter felt that the proctored exams were extremely helpful with her timing and stamina for the real ACT. All of the tutors very helpful, friendly and caring. Test scores have never been my sons strength. He will be graduating Spring 2020 and currently has a 4.53 GPA, has earned his Eagle Scout, and played both Varsity and Club Soccer. This review is a long time coming. My son struggled with our transition move to California. He was failing his classes and having a difficult time. We started regular tutoring through OTL, and continued from 6th to mid- 8th grade, when my son was consistently getting straight As and he was now back on track (I love the name of this place because that is truly what happened here). He continues with nearly all As through his senior high school year with a GPA unweighted of 3.9 - thats with Engineering and AP chemistry classes. He also took the OTL ACT course and increased his score 8 points from the baseline exam. I just wanted to send a thank to Dan and his team.

Our son took an SAT preparation course from On-Track Learning and improved his score by 110 points in a few weeks. This course and overall On-Track Learning business is very well organized and managed, making it easy for parents to schedule and for kids to complete assignments and stay on track. There are several options (duration and group size) available as well as SAT vs. ACT option. Highly recommended!!!

Possibly the best value out there. My son increased his ACT score from a 23 to a 29. This is obviously a huge jump and became the difference that got him in to the college he hoped for. The program is efficient and laser focused on score increase, rather than wasting time on things you dont need. The results speak for themselves and we would recommend this to any student who wants to improve their score.

I would highly recommend On Track for anyone who needs test prep. My son, who has a bit of ADHD and stubbornness, came to On Track in great need of prep and assistance. He had been offered a full ride scholarship for football and needed a certain score to meet NCAA eligibility rules. Hi tutor Mike was very patient, consistent and stern when he needed to be. There was a lot at stake! If my son didnt get the score he needed, his scholarship would be withdrawn. so imagine the challenge!. Mike identified the weakness in the areas that needed attention and zeroed in on those and my son not only increased his ACT score by 5 points he is now on his way to Oregon State on a FULL RIDE scholarship. Thanks to all at On Track for keeping my boy on Track and helping him realize his dream of playing college football!!

I attended ACT prep classes at On Track Learning and after working for three months in a semi-private tutoring class, I felt very prepared. The material is organized and easy to follow, the tutors are extremely helpful and supportive, and the proctored exams emulate the feeling of the real exams. The classes are flexible and you can switch during any day of the week to a time that is more compatible with you while not missing out on learning. Also, Joan, one of the tutors, offers extra help via a video call if needed. My son has been going to On Track Learning since November for help with math. Since he has started his self-esteem and math skills have improved tremendously. My review is long overdue! Hiring On Track Learning to tutor my son for ACT Prep was one of the best decisions ever. My sons score increased 7 points from the practice test to the first real test! I cant say enough wonderful things about Michael Bruns. His one-on-one, hands-on method of tutoring made it possible for my son to apply to a wider range of colleges. Colleges that clearly were not on his radar prior to Michaels tutoring. Michael is a tutor who genuinely cares about his students and their academic success. Michael began customizing a tutoring plan for my son at our very first meeting. He always kept me apprised of my sons progress, was always accessible to both me and my son, and was flexible when it came to my sons demanding baseball schedule. This was the second ACT Prep Tutoring organization we tried and it is worth every penny.

On Track Learning has quality math tutors who are knowledgeable, patient and flexible. They provide student with an additional source to help get their questions answered and prepared for tests. The hours their tutors are available and the flexibility they offer has been very helpful given the dynamic nature of high school student’s schedules. 5 Stars!!

Let me first start and say On Track Learning (OTL) exceeded my expectations. My son was going to be an incoming junior and had yet to take either the PSAT or SAT. He had not even picked up a prep book of any kind. To say the least, we were a bit concerned. I came across OTL through a Facebook parents group recommendation. I did a bit of research on SAT prep courses and what grabbed my attention to OTL was their free SAT test evaluation and score guarantee. Of course I was a bit skeptical on the guarantee as how can they possibly guarantee a 100-200 point score boost. First step was to see where my son was at since we had nothing to lose by taking the practice exam. It was conveniently scheduled for a Saturday morning at a local high school and was proctored just like a real exam. We received his test score in the next few days in a report. My son scored a 1290, which was now his baseline. We then attended a meeting with Dan, the owner, and one of his tutors. This is what had me sold. They had a game plan to increase his score by 150 points from his baseline on the actual SAT. They spoke with confidence and had a structure on how this was going to be done as long as my son was fully committed to their plan. We set dates for all the classes and practice exams as well as the homework he was expected to do. With each practice exam, we saw our son’s scores gradually increase. After each exam, they catered to his weak areas and we saw those areas improve with each practice exam. This culminated with a final practice exam score of 1430. After his final class, my son had a few weeks before the actual SAT. He studied and practiced what he was taught at OTL and this last October he scored a 1440 on his first attempt. This was an 150 point increase from his baseline. OTL delivered on their promise and guarantee. This cannot be said for the majority of businesses. According to my son, all of the tutors were wonderful and accommodating. We are considering signing up for another refresher to increase his score a little more. If you are looking and researching for a prep course for your child, stop the search, you’ve found it in OTL.

I strongly recommend the OTL Team for test prep tutoring. My daughter’s first SAT score was not as high as she wanted. We looked at a few options for test prep tutoring, but we were really impressed with the program at OTL. We had heard of OTL from friends who loved it and decided to enroll. My daughter attended semi-private sessions weekly for about 15 weeks. In addition, OTL scheduled my daughter to take SAT practice tests throughout the program to monitor her progress. When she took the SAT for the second time, she increased her SAT score by 70 points. As a courtesy, at no additional charge, she continued with OTL for about 4 more weeks and then took the SAT again. Between the in-person help from Vaughn and video conferences with Joan, our daughter was able to increase her SAT score by a total of 180 points. Dan and his team are very organized, extremely supportive, and helpful.

My son is a graduating high school senior that has good grades, participates in sports year round and worked part time during the summers throughout high school. We needed to make sure he received a good enough ACT score to give myself the best chance of getting into the universities that I was targeting. After visiting with another costly national test prep center, I learned of On Track Learning through a poster at Las Lomas High School. I contacted them and was very pleased with the plan and cost they suggested to help our son. I also appreciated the customized plan that they put together to work on what he needed for improvement. With the amazing help from On Track Learning coaches Michael and Joan, our son was able to increase his ACT score by 5 points after 5 small group sessions for the first test during the Spring of his Junior year and then another 6 points after 4 additional private sessions for the second test in the Fall of his Senior year. My advice to other parents would be to start this process much earlier during Junior year of high school so you have the score that you need by the time college applications need to be filled out during the Fall of Senior year. Terrific value and results! My daughter, who is currently a high school senior, has great grades but needed an equally great SAT score to get into some pretty competitive universities. After initially scoring a 1260 on her practice test, we met with Dan and team. OnTrack came up with a plan to help my daughter achieve an appropriate target score for the colleges on her list. The test preparation consisted of weekly focused homework with student accountability, feedback, and instruction as well as regular practice tests taken under exam conditions. Aman, Makena, and Greg were great to work with - smart, friendly, efficient, flexible. OnTrack even accommodated my daughter while she studied abroad this summer by arranging for private Skype test preparation sessions and remote practice testing. Happily, she achieved a score of 1520 and has already been accepted to some of her top choices with scholarship money. My daughter couldnt have done it without OnTrack and their wonderful staff - thank you for the prep and all the support!

OTL knocked it out of the park for us, helping my daughter increase her SAT score by 110 points. Dan and the OTL team of Joan and Vaughn went above and beyond in taking interest and care in helping my daughter do so well. Make no bones about this - its serious work, but if your serious the results will come. Highly recommend OTL. If we had more kids, we send them there, but weve run out.

Great experience from beginning to end. Dan is responsive and professional. He quickly understood my childs math needs and we were paired with an ideal tutor immediately. Patrick (our tutor) has been very helpful. He is relate-able for my middle schooler and helps reinforce, review and study math concepts in a variety of ways. The results have been exactly what we wanted - mid to high As on tests. We had not used a math tutor before - and I wish we would have signed up sooner. We are very appreciative OnTrack Learnings service and highly recommend them.

My son Mason improved his ACT score 7 points after completing On Track Learnings Test Prep Program! Myself, my wife and Mason were very happy about his score increased on the ACT. The homework mix and volume was perfect for a busy student athlete. How can I start to explain what an incredible 3/4 months of tutoring with On Track has been. Our family moves twice a year to live in two different states for my husbands job. If you can imagine, it is hard for our oldest daughter to catch up where she leaves off during every move. We were actively trying to get our daughter into a new school in Arizona, after our current one closed. In order to get into the new school our daughter had to take the AABL test. She did not pass. And she could not attend her dream school. My daughter was trying to get into first grade, so I really wasn’t aware that she could be that behind. Putting my ego aside, I needed help to get her up to speed. The owner Dan was such a pleasure to work with! He was so kind to my daughter, and our whole family. He is always polite and profesional. He would do anything to make something work. I emailed him less then 20 hours before I needed a session, and he made it happen! I truly feel he did this because he genuinely cares about the children that walk through those doors. Our daughter needed a lot of help with her math, her handwriting, and most of all her reading. She saw that most of her classmates were reading, and it was making her insecure and unconfident that she couldn’t. The summer with Dan and his tutors brought an insecure 6 year old that couldn’t read into a confident 6 year old that now reads to me and her younger sister nightly. The first time she read to me I had tears running down my face. Her math skills have doubled. And her handwriting, which I could not recognize before the summer, actually looks like well thought out sentences! To top all of these amazing accomplishes off, my daughter retook the test, got better scores in every area. Her verbal recognition went from a 13% to a 95%. The principal actually asked if she cheated the scores were so different. So no, she did not cheat, she worked her butt off with the best, supportive tutors Dan could find and she got into her dream school. I try to recommend On Track to everyone I meet, to the point where it is probably annoying. But I really believe in what Dans doing for our youth. Let’s give our youth the tools they need to succeed.
