They made us wait for a good 30 to 40 mins just to tell us the part was not available!!! FYI I called 3 times to ask them about the part the same day and they affirmed it was available...

They sold me a low miles engine lasted only two weeks is still under warranty and they dont want to honor the warranty. They are making other excuses why engine went bad again. Had to file a police report so I can take them to civil court and policeman informed me they get a lot of calls to this place. Wish I wouldve known this before.😡🤬

Showing they have parts on car-parts .com wtih stock numbers 2488-1but they just hand up on u. when i call back few time. they said dont have it than hand up again.. try call back agin.

Purchased a transmission, they replaced it twice because both were bad. They refused to fix it or return my money even when warranty was still in place. Manager didn’t have the courage to speak to me face to face. Avoid this place!

I but a 2010 ford mustang engine 4.6L for 1300 dlls with a crack piston and now Im waiting a week for a refund!!! Please save you self a headache and dont go there😡😡. My first time to this place and my last for sure😡. Seller told me that if I was looking for a perfect engine to buy it New, the engine they sold supposedly had 50k miles but looks like a 150k miles or more to me. Read the warranty policy carefully because they dont explain nothing😡. They take long because there plan is to find another engine and make the sale again, they dont give you your money back at all!!

My husband bought a part there for my daughters truck, paid $75 and the part did not work - at all! my husband calls back to see if he can get an exchange, not for our money back, but an EXCHANGE and the guy was very rude. He told my husband he was screwed. ok thats fine, ill just let everyone know the kind of people - crooks - who run that place. God will deal with them.

As soon as I walked in I received great customer service. They quickly found my part for a 2011 Malibu, which was very cheap. The fender I received was in great condition and I was very pleased by the rate they got me my part. This is a great place that I will come back to again.

Where should I start....at first it had great customer service. I called them up and they had a great price on an engine that I needed. From all the places I called, Discount Auto Used Parts had one of the lowest prices. When they told me the mileage on the engine, I drove out there to put a deposit on it and went back the next day to pay the rest and pick it up. They didnt tell me that it was $100 more with out returning an engine core. I was shocked to hear that, especially since I had been communicating with these guys back and forth. Luckily I had the extra $100 to spare. I thought to myself ill just bring the core back and get $100 back. I removed the engine from the car and took it back to them 7 days later. I didnt put the oil cover back on it cause we had to remove it to turn the engine to remove the bolts that were on the fly wheel. Long story short when I took the Core Back they tried to give me an excuse of why I couldnt return it. He said that he had told me that the core needed to be exactly the way he gave me the other engine. I told him that he never said that - as a matter of fact they blindsided with the extra charge at the last minute. Even though the employee acknowledged that he failed to mention anything about the core they still refused to return my deposit until they saw that I was not going to let them rob me of my $100. Now I understand why their prices are low - they make up for it in hidden fees and underhanded moves to trick people into losing their deposits.

Very good warranty policy just talked to the owner and he honored the warranty as stated on the invoice

Great service. Picked up the engine I needed for a good price. They loaded it and it came with a warranty. Hopefully it works well.Update: I had the engine installed, and it ran. I drove it afew miles and everything seemed okay. Took it out to go from Weslaco to Mercedes and it dies while still in Weslaco. I took it back to the mechanics and they said there was water in the oil. I called Discount and they said I had to tow the vehicle there so they could see it. I had it towed. Discount said my truck caused the engine to over heat and fail. There is nothing wrong with my trucks radiator or oil cooler.Bottom line, they refused to give any refund, so Im out $1,000 for the engine plus $80 tow fee. This doesnt even included my mechanics charges.Might be a good place if everything works, but if you have any trouble with what you buy, your screwed.

I purchased a rack and pinion yesterday which I payed $800, after I checked all the wires before I went to return it they told me I had to talk to the owner which he was extremely negative and very rude, the rack had some wires spliced which I had no wires spliced because I had inspected before I went to the junk yard, then the owner tried saying that I had moved the tie rods which he was making up why would I move the tie rods if the rack did not work, I took it to the dealership they told me the rack wasnt compatible with my truck I tried explaining this to the owner but he didnt honor what the dealership said. So now I have a rack that doesnt work with my truck and I had one worker that Im pretty sure he spliced the wires so they wouldnt refund my money back I WOULD NOT RECOMMEN THIS PLACE TO NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t do any business here. They are rip offs. They sold my son in law a worthless engine and installed it. The car overheated immediately and they don’t honor their warranty. They are a bunch of crooks. Don’t do any business with Junior. They tell you that it has a warranty but then they back out. Over $2,000 down the drain.

Tried to send email for a power steering pump for a 1996 Toyota Tacoma, 4 cylinder, 2-wheel drive and it kept asking for a code which I had no idea of. tried to find out about code, but no explanation of how to get code. very disappointed.

So far so good. I will update this once I get the car back Customer service was on point (called before 10am). The price for the engine was a little high for 86K miles but they threw in the tow for free and even called me back! They did ask for a deposit which I understand and will be at my apartment in edinburg by 11:00am so we shall see.They arrived on time and had the car ready the next day. There was a miscommunication as far as the quote goes and I ended up paying $50 extra which I wasnt too happy about. Upon receiving the car it looked fine however once on the road we came to learn that a lugnut had penetrated the tire. Immediately we returned the car however they have nothing to patch a tire nor offered to replace the tire. The best that they could do was to have us DRIVE with a lugnut poking out of the car to a place that could patch it and reimbursement the patch. This place is out there and it took a bit to find a place and not worth the $5 to return...Would have been more in gas. A day went by fine. The next the battery light came on so I checked it (its fine),charged it and no more light. The next day the light is back on. 2days following the check engine light comes on. We have to bring it back and hope for the best and no more lug nuts. I will update after we take it in to get looked at and fixed. Keeping it at 4 stars and probably too generous for doing so.

I purchased a computer for my car from this place and got it installed and but did NOT WORK. I had several electrical mechanics try and program even one that works with all GM programing cars. But it would not retrieve the VIN # of my car.They told me no refunds or exchange. Basically they sold me a broken part. I asked them if i can exchange it for another part i need, he said no. I then asked do i throw it away since it doesnt work, he said no to try and sell it on ebay. I payed $87 for a broken part they want me to sell on ebay to trick them like i got tricked at buying a broken part.
