Yesterday came from SF to purchase refurbished starter Honda CRV. Aaron was friendly and helpful. Found out it was my battery. Same day went to return starter to daily city AZ (closer distance) w/ receipt. Come to find out it wasnt even the correct starter and they treated me like I was trying to pull a fast one. Came back to Alameda next day to return and Aaron (who sold it to me) assured me he was the one who checked the product before boxing. I explained to him I know what it looks like but I couldnt afford a $220 hit for their mistake. Asked for a Corporate phone num and he then agreed to do the return. Lesson: CHECK YOUR REFURBISHED PARTS BEFORE LEAVING store or you will be put in a a very uncomfortable expensive mistake. Guess Ill pocket the 4 unnecessary bridge tolls.

Nice to see some competition in Alameda. The prices are fair and they have a different selection then other places on the island. Slightly better prices too

The best Autozone in the Bay! Fernando helped me right away locate the proper car battery. He even was willing to stay late to help insure it was properly installed. Went to AutoZone with questions about my battery and alternator. Aaron was super helpful, friendly, and informative. I had a bunch of questions. He checked both and helped me determine the battery isnt the issue. I ordered an alternator from the companys website, which should hopefully fix my problem.

I go to the AutoZone maybe once a week its always quiet there but always have what I need. I pick up solder heat shrink wire stuff for my electrical needs. Theyre always friendly in there the employees and never have I once seen any incident of any type of harassment or arguments it seems very friendly there to me. And Ive been arrested in Alameda for 40 years Ive seen it when it was William Brothers and party Warehouse to the AutoZone I believe thats the order but always a good experience.

Great auto supply store. Ive always had a great experience with them. They can order after market parts, I know because they ordered parts for my Ford pick up truck. They have great customer service people you cant go wrong. The employees are very friendly, and kind .

The bald headed manager with the sqeeky voice wont honor a warranty and needs to learn how to do his job or leave the store Ive spent 10s of thousands of dollars at AutoZone and never had I met such a pink with a bad attitude. Wont be doing business there anymore

I walked into this store on 3/10/20 at around 6 pm looking to see if they had any deals or if I could find any odds and ends. I noticed when I was looking at the tool section an employee rushed to check if they spray paints behind me were locked I did not think anything of it at the time. As I turned to walk out an employee stopped me and asked if I had anything in my pockets. I was being accused of theft I offered to empty out my pockets and the employee said no. I will never spend a dime in any autozone after the disrespect I received just for checking out the inventory.

Its ok but they didnt have an impact wrench. A national auto parts chain that does have an impact wrench.After several visits I need to down grade this establishment; as before limited items but the problem is the education of the staff - very little auto knowledge. I have gone three time now asking for a specific items (constant tension clamp, 2 stage clear coat, and oat coolant) each time, the people behind the counter just were clueless. Hope it gets better.

The sales team and the manager make an impressive and knowleable center of customer service.my first visit to the park St. Location ended up with me actually making enough money from three old batteries to pay for the items I came to purchase.i didnt know that they give a store credit for your old batteries.the staff was very knowledgeable and. Capable of asking questions that led to a great shopping experience.

Useless, Walked in and asked if they do battery replacement was told yes but she couldnt do it and there was no one else able they were on break. I asked how long of a wait as I just had my car jumped and didnt know if it would restart after turning it off to come in the store. She rolled her eyes and told me it would be over an hour and then asked if i still wanted to buy the battery without installation. Ive never known a work break to go for over an hour and the fact that they were that short staffed that they couldnt help with a customer request when thats why people come to auto zone.

Customer service is top notch as I was asked if I need help for at least four times. Keep in mind that a store like these performs basic weekend repair needs. If you want high performance, closer and the prices and parts are cheaper than other places I definitely fell in love I will buy everything I need here
