TL;DR NO WIFI, NOT GENTLE AND WILL SCRATCH YOU; CANNOT DO OMBRÉ DESIGN, NAILS HAS BUMPS AND DUST THAT CAUGHT IN GEL; UNEVEN SHEER LAYER; WILL ASK FOR TIPS (no matter what happened)At first I wasn’t going to write a bad review for this place because the nail lady there tried her best. However, when she had the audacity to keep asking me for tips when having done such a poor job on my nails I feel like I need to give others a warning before coming here. My wedding is next week and I found this simple ombré design I wanted to do for my nails on IG. I showed her when I came in the store and she seemed confident that she can do it. I let the professional take the wheel but first she spent 10 mins looking everywhere for “WHITE” literally one of the most basic colors and came back with a couple bottles that were almost out because she couldn’t find any in the new polished they ordered and are next to the entrance. The store had limited selections for sparkles and when she unable to do anything that’s even close to the design I asked for she tried multiple times on my nails and another lady came to try as well but the results were really really bad. Eventually she said you should just go with white because your wedding dress will match them. I came in here with a design I put a lot of thoughts into that I wanted to have for my wedding day and she just ruined it. I have a jam-packed schedule before my wedding date and really don’t know if I have time to find another place to fix it. What’s worst is when she removed the remaining gel on my fingers she just buffed them off and now my nails are thin in some paces so it is uneven in thickness. I am not sure if I can handle removing them right now and have them redone before next week. I want to warn whoever that has an important even or have any design needs to not come here. They are very careful with COVID guidelines until I was the last person remain in store and this other nail lady waiting for the one working on me took off her mask and sits next to me and talks to my nail lady in their language constantly.

Tomo is my new favorite salon. Theyre incredibly friendly, attentive and safe. They have a great booking system and check-in system. They also do massage so their massage part of the pedicure is amazing. They also have organic and vegan polish without chemicals along with the regular Opi or gel.

Excellent job, wonderful massage. Definitely worth it.

Its not the best, but its not the worst. They do good haircuts and all, but the whole place reeks of smoke. I guess there are some major smokers working there. When It first came out, I thought it was crazy to open another haircut and nail salon in Alameda. But they do pretty decent for a small business.

I use to love this mini spa when it was massage only!!! The noise from the ladies doing nails is Horrible.They both have great business models but combining massage and nails was a big mistake. Prices went up and you cant even relax!

First time here, on a fluke since the nearby place I go to was unexpectedly closed. I was the first customer of the day, the ladies were quite nice and took their time for my mani/pedicure. Its a nice clean salon that offers additional services such as massage and waxing. I would definitely go back. (Bonus for having an autoclave...still today some salons are just using barbasol

Quality has dropped significantly.to start with, they now do massages and manicures pedicures in the same space. So while youre getting a massage your breathing strong chemical smells. But this place smells like a chemical factory. Ive been coming here for years, and Ive noticed a steady downward spiral.

Din is amazing! Quality meridian massage thats affordable. If you are easily distracted by noise, probably not for you. If you can zone out from excellent healer hands, I cant recommend him enough. The others therapists are good, but Din is top notch if you are interested in the energy as well as the technique.

Just got my hair colored here. Went from blonde to brunette. The color didnt take the first time kind of uneven, but they were more than willing to redo it, to exactly what I wanted. Lee is great! Even better very affordable.

I have been getting my hair cut here for nearly 15 years. I love it so much that Ive gotten my whole family and most of my friends to start coming here now as well. Lisa is amazing and I literally do not let anyone else cut my hair. I dont do color/dye and usually stick with similar styles- long layers, maybe some bangs. I love going to her before a night out- she always seems to style my hair better than I ever could. Really great service for an affordable price.

Tomo mini spa is a very nice AFFORDABLE spa. Its not the high end spa but it also doesnt have high end prices. The massage area is screened off from the nail spa so its best to wear easy to remove clothing with (for example) a sports bra/bike shorts or bikini where you can easily untie to allow for massage but easily retie to remain modestly covered. I primarily come for massage - its 50 minutes for $30. TIP GENEROUSLY as thats the point of the low cost. The owner makes money and the massage therapist gets GENEROUS TIPS. (I usually tip $20 per hour and sometimes I leave an over the top tip.) If you want a great massage at a very affordable price this is your spot. If you want a fru fru high end massage place go elsewhere.

Found this place on Yelp last week. I love the service. Had my nail dip done by Emily and shes a Star! Great professional service. Had a nail dip done with OPI. The place is sterile and clean. My OCD wasnt screaming. I was in and out in an hour. For me, its about ATTITUDE and SERVICE. I know that Im not going anywhere else anytime soon. Im getting a pedi next week and a massage from Peter. My 1st visit yesterday with Emily for a nail dip. I had been going to Classy Mails a couple of blocks away for several months & there was way too much to hate about that place. Went on Yelp and found Tomo For Nails. What a difference! Clean, quiet, polite, professional and nails look amazing. OPI dip was used. Better colors, less toxic and no smells. The most incredible? I was in and out in 1 hour!!! Omg!!! It was $5.00 more for some & politeness. Ill be back again in 3 weeks for a pedi and massage from Peter - both for the first time. Thanks Emily!!! 💋

Ive been coming here since the late 90s to have my hair cut by Lisa. She knows how to cut my very straight Chinese hair.You usually get a head and shoulder massage while my hair is being shampooed. All of the hair dressers are Asian. The clientele is young and old, Asian and non-Asian. Prices are reasonable for the full experience.

They do a decent enough job on nails. However the $5 gel removal is a rip off. Youre better off going elsewhere
