This was my first time being Waxed and the lady who did my wax Cristy was great. She really calmed me and made sure I was comfortable.

I hate to leave a bad review but that was honestly the worst wax experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been waxing every 1-2 months for the past 6 years :(There were a lot of little things.-the staff was rushing and seemed overbooked-the room had wax all over the floor and table when I get in there-my Brazilian missed a lot of hair-I wasn’t allowed to use my wax series that a bought at a different Lunchbox Wax location so I had to pay for the wax separately (beware, they won’t let you use a series at every location like they advertise!!)-and the kicker, my left eyebrow was waxed down to a thin line 😭 I only glanced at it while in the salon because I’ve NEVER had a problem with eyebrow waxes and only noticed after I got home that most of my left eyebrow was gone.I’ve been to other Lunchbox locations and loved it so I’ll definitely come back to Lunchbox, just maybe at a different location.

Ive been there three times lately and Im SO happy to have the same young lady by the name of Loren. I had stopped going there for a while. Their turnover is so darn high, the staff were rude, unprofessional, the service wasnt the best, and to top it off, the management wasnt friendly. I decided to go back because I was in a pinch, and had the best service Ive had in the Bay Area!!! Ask for Loren if you go there, shes worth the wait! A note to the management- keep her!!!

Great communication for my first appointment, the women are so nice and attentive. I was a bit skeptical as I had a bad waxing at the well know waxing chain. So I was nervous about their experience and training, but I was so wrong! This is my new spot and I’m so happy it’s down the street!

Amazing aestheticians and really good rooms. Compared to EWC, Lunchbox rooms are cleaner and temp is a not frigid. I don’t know why but EWC was always cold to me. But the women at Lunchbox were awesome and thorough. Would definitely go back. Also for new customers the second wax is free apparently, so that’s a win.

First time going to a salon that specializes in waxing and first time getting this particular service. I was nervous of course, but Rosa was amazing! I feel like I struck gold getting her. Honestly. She made me feel so comfortable and safe and she did an amazing job! I will be back in 4 weeks!

This place had an opening and Im SO glad Rosa was the one who I got! She was so friendly and made me feel comfortable, she worked efficiently and quickly while making sure I was comfortable throughout the service. I never felt rushed but she got the job done quickly which I appreciate!Ill definitely be returning to Rosa! The facility was clean and welcoming as well which is just as important.

Love this location! I think Ive used all the girls who work here and all of them are super sweet and do an excellent job. The location is right next to Target and Safeway too so it’s so convenient.

This is my second visit here. The entire staff is warm and friendly as soon as you enter the salon. Both times I was on time and my service started immediately. It is very clean and smells most wonderful. I have had two different Waxologist and both were equally wonderful taking extra care to ensure I was comfortableI have had my brows done as well as Brazilians. I was waxed by Natalie and she was amazing. I had been sugared by someone else a few weeks ago, so all of my hair was different lengths. She did an amazing job. Shes super thorough, but still very timely. I was surprised.Shes super nice, too! Wasnt awkward at all.

While I did have to wait almost 30 minutes for my wax technician, it was worth it. Im glad I had the time because Kalea was sweet, and made me feel really comfortable. She did a great job. All of the individual working the front were courteous and welcoming.

Just had my legs waxed with Alicia. She was fantastic!! Alicia made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. She applied pressure after she pulled each strip, which helped a ton!! I also enjoyed getting to chat with her because it helped make the whole atmosphere light!

It’s been a while since I’ve waxed my legs at a salon. I usually use other methods. I was pleasantly surprised. What ever concoction they have to prep your skin for waxing is awesome because it reduced the pain to nearly none. It’s a very nicely set up and in a nice location. Definitely a stop to hit up for your waxing needs.

I was running late to my appointment. The staff at lunchbox in Alameda was able to reschedule to a later time. I had my Brazilian and underarms wax with Rosa. She was awesome. Super friendly and personable. I had a great experience. Will schedule appointments with her next month.

I’ve had the same services completed in under 30minutes and yesterday took 75minutes. I can understand having new employees but your customers should be told in advance. The waxing was a lot more painful yesterday as well because of her inexperience. Very disappointed.
