The workers were great, but that’s only half of the story. We scheduled trimming to be done prior to our roof being redone. They called the day after they were supposed to show up to tell us they needed to reschedule, then we had to keep calling to get rescheduled. Second date comes close, rescheduled again, and again we had to chase them down to get a date. They showed up and it turns out they didn’t have the right equipment for the entire job, so they did 75% of what was contracted saying that they would come back. Weeks later they call to tell me they would come next month to finish. No thanks, my roofers will be here and gone by then. Very unprofessional work from everyone except the guy’s doing the actual job. Will not be using them again.

Great company, they showed up on time, completed removal of a large tree with power lines going thru it, with 0 issues. Very professional. Next day the stump person came and ground the stump down. I am very satisfied.

Hercules raised the canopy on a number of our trees and did a great job. But what really made me happy is they trimmed and shaped our Japanese maple that was completely overgrown and looked like a bush. It is absolutely beautiful now. I was dreading what it might look like because the growth did not offer a lot of options, but they did a phenomenal job. Thank you so much.

I emailed them asking for a quote for a tree I have in my side yard that needs taken down. I told them I didnt need it cleaned up or anything like that and they put it in the quote anywayWhat a waste of time. Not to metion they wanted almost $3000 for a job I can get done for $800 and the brush chipped included.

We had three trees removed and several trees trimmed. Hercules Tree Service did an amazing job. They were very prompt in getting the quote to me and very quick in getting the job scheduled. They arrived on time, totally cleaned up, and were quite professional during the job. We highly recommend them.

They removed two trees from my neighbors yard but for some reason dragged them through my yard tearing up my grass causing several large ruts. I called several times to ask if they could come evaluate the damage done. I was very polite and left voicemails asking very nicely to please help with this. Not one person we’ll call me back. I didn’t have any tree work done yet they tore my yard up and won’t even give me the courtesy of calling back to maybe apologize or offer to fix their damage.

They showed up when they said they would and did a great job removing 7 trees. Cleaned up our yard exceptionally well. They were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend!

The crew showed up as scheduled. They were very professional and nice. We called Hercules Trees about 7 months ago to get a quote to remove some dead 60 ft tall pine trees behind our building. They came out quickly, gave a quote and were very efficient and professional. We were finally able to allocate funds to the tree removal project, we called Hercules Trees again for an updated quote, they came within the hour of the call! The trees were down the very next day, in about 4 hours. They had to do the work from the neighbors property, not only did they secure permission for us, but they cleaned up the property to the point you could not tell they took out the 9 dead pines from there! They worked like a well oiled machine. We observed one worker blowing sawdust out of the way of coworkers, to avoid a trip/fall hazard! The price was great, the team that was sent out did a fantastic job, and they were super polite and professional. I will recommend Hercules to anyone needing tree service in the future. These are the people you want to work for you. For the record, I do not know these people other than we hired them to take out the trees, so this is an unbiased review.

Steven and his team just finished a major tree removal from my yard...3 blue spruce (approx. 3 stories tall), 1 forked cherry tree that had wind trunk damage, 2 old overgrown hemlocks. And trimmed up 2 very large crimson trees in front yard. They were efficient, thorough, and professional. I am extremely pleased with all their work and highly recommend Hercules from the assessment and quote to the labor. Cost was very reasonable. When needed I will use them again!

Hercules Tree Service arrived on time per their the time I was given. I was greeted professionally and talked to that way through the entire work experience. They arrive in well maintained and very modern looking equipment. Now the work is top notch. Very efficient in going about their jobs. Mine was I had a downed tree. The sawed up the tree, removed and ground. Then the cleanup began with rakes and hand picking up the removed all the loose and little limbs/sticks. This was a real top notch job. I also had the stump ground which after complete another rake job to get everything back into the stump hole. Then an final blower to get even smaller pieces back by the work site and around where the limbs were ground. Driveway all cleared and work area all cleared the job was complete. Then I was given a nice thank for selecting them which was appreciated. I would use them again in a second. Professional service done right with obvious quality job experience.

Terrible company. I wish I could give a negative star. The guy that showed up didnt even seem like he wanted to be here. Then I told him I needed a cpl trees trimmed. As I was talking, he was trying to find every way not to do the job. I cant believe companies today. Im willing to pay for the work but they dont want to do the work. I dont know how this place is even in business. With his terrible attitude and absolute unwillingness to do the job. Save your time and money and hire someone else. Use any other company you can. What a waste of my time. 😝😠

Hercules Tree service removed a totally dead Ash tree on my property. They were fast but thorough, respectful (when having to go on my neighbors property) and the lowest estimate of several companies that I called. They cleaned everything up and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction before leaving. The stump is completely ground down and you cant even tell there was a tree there. I would highly recommend, and will definitely call them to do more work on my property.

Ive never had to use a tree removal company before, I usually just handle the work myself among my remodeling company, but this situation I needed to call a professional to remove a tree from hanging over a house I was working on. We did not want to cause damage to the house by removing the tree ourselves, so we called several places in the area who offered tree removal services, and out of all of them, Hercules Tree was the best price, and could get it done in the soonest time frame. Hercules Tree Service is Top Notch from ownership to field labor. Crew was on site promptly at the time scheduled, worked fast, protected my lawn from damage, continually cleaned-up as trees were removed, and did a final clean-up upon completion. My yard was cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived. Crew Foreman was diligent on safety also, as much of my work required a crane removing trees/limbs from above my house. Excellent work at a fair price. I received 4 bids for this service and Hercules was the most $$ by a couple hundred. It didnt matter. For the service and attention to detail, it was worth it. I will be using Hercules again in the future. When a company performs like that, I dont mind paying a bit more. They earned it.

The people that run and work for this company are the BEST people!! Let me tell you a story about the kind of good hearted people that work here. On Tuesday night I heard a baby raccoon crying for his mother up in the tree next to my house. The next day he was still screaming and I noticed his mother had been hit in the road in front of our driveway. The babies were in a hole about 30 feet up. After calling The fire department, the Medina county park district, Ohio division of fish and wildlife and local wildlife rehabilitator‘s about this issue no one was willing or able to give me any help on how to get these babies out of the tree. I had my neighbor suggested Hercules as they had trimmed their trees for them in the past and were very nice. From the moment I called, everyone on the team was on board. The wonderful young lady I talked to on the phone got a hold of two of Her expert climbers. Ray And Rory came out after their shift, out of the goodness of their hearts, to climb up the tree and get these babies out for me for nothing! They told me multiple stories of the wildlife they have rescued and helped while Working. I am full of appreciation for the kind people that helped when they Did not have to. If you want to feel good about who you’re having come work on your property these are the people you want. There still are good people on this planet and this business employees quite a few of them. Thanks to the whole team’s effort all four babies were taken to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator to be able to grow and eventually be released back into their natural habitat.

We started with an estimate from Bob who worked with us fairly. Lisa followed up with our scheduled date of work and even moved it up 8 days early. Ryan and his crew were on time, did all the prep work, laid planking down on our yard and the neighbors yard (had to use it to get to the cherry tree we had removed). Besides removing one tree, they also thinned five trees beautifully, raised the canopy on each, and the cleanup work was exceptional...from raking, blowing and meticulously cleaning the entire yard. Ryan was a wizard in the bucket truck and got in and out of some very, very tight areas. I can go on and on, but I will definitely hire Hercules Tree again & again! Can I give you 10 STARS? Had several companies come out and give me estimates. I chose the lowest price from another company. This other company called during the job and told me that the tree was above their capability. So I called Hercules back and they came out two weeks later and removed the tree in 3 hours. I decided to stay home and watch the job be done. Sebastian and Ronald are very talented. The other workers were polite and worked very hard!

Ive used Hercules twice now, and they do an incredible job. My property is fenced in with no access, so they have to climb. Many companies either wont climb, charge a fortune to climb, or want to bring in a piece of equipment which might tear up your yard; but these guys arent afraid. And when theyre done, you hardly know they were there. Fast, efficient, and professional; I would highly recommend.

This was absolutely outstanding service and the price was very good. We had two large dead ash trees and four smaller tress removed. Theses dead trees were ugly, and they were a potential hazard to the roadway and our home. Their work was prompt and quite professional. Seeing the worker climb the tallest tree and trim it was amazing. Also, I never saw a chain saw cut through a large trunks so quickly. Although there are many 5 star reviews, I am only giving one star. This past fall a tree worker from this business came to my home and verbally stated a price of $1,200 for the removal of a spruce tree. Nothing was given to me in writing. I was not told he would be doing the estimate. The fact that he arrived was a total unplanned occurance. This price was more than $400 above any previous estimates from others. I asked why the estimator that I was told would be doing the estimate did not come. At that point the worker became unpleasant and left. I never heard from the business again. Due to family situations, I let the tree removal go until this spring. Then I had two more businesses give estimates. I saw a car with Hercules tree advertised on it in my neighborhood. I called for an estimate, not remembering that this was the same business from last fall. Well if I had recognized that, I certainly would not have called again. A Planned on person named Bob came out. Very pleasantly and quickly gave a estimate and details were discussed to my satisfaction. At that point I told Bob to reclassify the estimate to a go ahead status. I was told it would be 3 weeks wait for an appointment. The appointment was set for May 13. It was very wet so a postponement was planned. This past weekend I received a message from Bob saying the business was cancelling their contract with me since they had researched me and found the previous estimate from the fall for $1,200. Further stating that at that time I told the fall worker to leave my property. So go get another tree service. Now it needs to be known that the second estimate was a very realistic price. The total was $750. which included a cost if $100 for stump grinding. The $1,200 estimate did not. So end result from a cost of $1,200 to $650 is quite a difference, $550. I dont know why such a difference. I was told the current owner, Cody Butzner, made the decision to cancel.P.S. Please read my questioned response to the business response. You may certainly fine me $200., but read your statement about you may cancel due to weather. That was done by your business. So the facts remain. Ive written the truth. If you wish to carry out your agenda against a senior citizen, and I repeat, I am the proud mother of a Green Beret U.S. Army soldier who protects you and gives you your freedom, then do so. Bear in mind you may do whatever you think you need to do to show that you can.....but at least do it courteously and with respect.

What a great team of guys. They worked together and took down 4 trees and a bunch of large ranches in 2 hours. I could not have asked for a better company to remove my trees. They also left the yard cleaner than what it was when they showed up. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

However, I was very confused as to why I didnt receive a phone call to notify me that they would be 40 mins late to my appointment. And they never apologized. Hercules Tree Service was prompt with my estimate, getting a date for the cut and were in and out of my property within an hour. The tree was at least 30 feet. They cleaned up the area beautifully.My neighbor walked over while they were cutting and asked for a quote for a small tree she needed trimmed. After they got done with my tree they went across the street and took care of her tree!I would call them again without a doubt. In fact next year I plan on having another tree taken down and Hercules Tree Service is who I will be calling.

We had 4 large trees fall in a recent storm. I called many contractors to handle the issue. Bob from Hercules gave me one of the fairest estimates of the bunch and their reviews were stellar so I took a chance with them. I had some issues with the quote so they cleared them up and were out the following day with a crew. They did a five star job cleaning up the mess, even raked the entire yard. The stump grinder came out two days later. I could not be happier with the level of service they provided and will refer my friends and family to them in the future.
