This was the tow yard where my car was taken per the Akron PD setting it up after an accident that totaled my car. I went to collect my possessions and say goodbye to my car, and the staff was very friendly. They offered me tools to remove my license plates, but then a staff member instead came out and did it for me. We had a nice chat about some non-car related hobbies while I was a bit weepy, and I had no trouble getting to my car, getting my things, and signing the release to the insurance company. It might be weird to some, but I had a lot of fond memories of that amazing car, and I appreciate such a nice crew when Im sure theyre used to dealing with people going through tough times.

Nobody likes having to get their car out of impound even less so when your vehicle was stolen. I had to bring my friend here to get his car out. On the plus side they were easy to find, they were respectful enough, even helpful when my friend thought the keys were lost, oh and reasonably fast too.

My engine threw a piston rod in the middle of the interstate with no berm to pull off on to. The flat bed came and had my car up on top of it and off of the highway in only 12 min. Fast friendly service especially considering that this happened off hours at night.

They brought my car (which wasnt entirely fixed yet) back to my place and left it in the MIDDLE of my driveway. The driveway is shared between me and my neighbors, none of us were happy about this. We ended up having to push it back to the garage ourselves!! Not to mention the back window was broken when they returned it! If youre a person who actually cares about your car go the extra mile to find a place that actually puts in the effort to fix your car.

I called Gregs Towing about 7:30 p.m. on Christmas Day because our keys were locked in our truck and it was the only set we had. The guy was so nice on the phone and told us it would cost $40 and hed be here in 30 minutes. FANTASTIC!!! He did just as he said. This was after my boyfriend spent three hours trying to do it himself, with no luck. And, after calling another company who wanted $125 and would be here in 1.5 hours. The guy on the phone was very rude to me. I ran out of gas about 430 pm and had to be to work by 5 went to get my car after I got off around 1030 and it was no where to be found and took me over 2 hours to find out who had my car and where it was. When I called he wasn’t helpful at all and I was told I wasn’t aloud to get my car until I got my registration (which is inside of my car) and wouldn’t listen to a word I said. And basically told me I was stupid and shouldn’t leave my car on the side of the highway and he doesn’t make the rules. Even though I’ve seen cars left on the highway for days at a time.

Called at 11:58 to complain about a driver running us off of the road in the pouring rain and he was driving 60 in a 35. When the dispatcher answer the phone they condoned his behavior, laughed about it and said it’s irresponsible to be riding a motorcycle in the rain. We got stuck in the rain and not on purpose. So if you are a motorcyclist know they treat others this way because they have no respect for anyone else on the road.Update: a police report was made and the driver was not headed to a call that apd was aware of. The driver pulled out from McDonald’s on the Robinson and Manchester intersection and followed behind us on a two lane road for about two miles until we got right past Pizza Hut where anyone from the area knows it collects heavy rain. This is when he gets over into the left lane and accelerate very quickly. He covered all three bikes and sped off even faster. This place is clearly not conducted with any respect for others. I am very glad to have made it home unscathed as well as the other riders. Please do not support these disrespectful, ignorant people.

I called AAA to tow my car to a shop being told by the shop that the starter was probably bad. My driver Art showed up to tow the car and tested my battery first. He was able to get my car started and followed me to his shop to replace the battery with a memory stick so my antitheft didnt kick in and lock out the car. Art was amazing and saved me a ton of money with his diligence. Would recommend this company to anyone!!

Rating - The most disturbing experience ever. I entered to ask a question at their main location on Waterloo. The company towed my vehicle in absolute error. I could never review the data to advise them of this because the corridor for customers was dark. I asked the rep, Greg if I could have some light to review my notes. He advised me that this request was not possible and that he could read my notes with his interior light. When I explained that it is compilation of a few docs and Id have to read them to explain he mentioned that I had a problem because there was no light. When I asked if he could step into the daylight so I could read my notes to him or if he could let me into the lit area to review the information, he contacted the Akron Police. He had me standing in an unlit area where any horrific thing could have occurred and he called the police because I asked for a light to review my notes. Then he mentioned that he had something else to do and left. There were probably others in the office but no one came to check on me. Moreover, I was in a non-lit area scared to leave because he called the police on an issue that had nothing to do with a police tow and was completely caused because of their companys action. After 15 minutes of being completely petrified, I left to sit in the car and await the police officers arrival. I left after 30 minutes of no show. I am writing this review because what I experienced was deplorable. My aim is to contact ever review environment as well as potential business contracts (easily defined by looking at parking lot signs) to make sure that people recognize how this company does business. I am sure the other organizations do not wanted to be exposed to the heightened liability of unsafe corridors that people have to enter to ask questions, etc. Please join me in my social media efforts to ensure that the disregard for public/customer safety (unlit customer areas), and the rude customer practices of this company and are completely exposed.

I was left with my 4 month old baby yesterday because someone had to move their car. My husband was with me and he thought the driver told him he had to go get something to put air in the tires so he said hed be right back. We waited for ever and I called the driver and he acted like he was just a few minutes away. 20 min later i called Gregs towing and asked when his driver would the driver be here and he said he didnt know who I was that I never called. I said yes I did, your driver was here a little while ago. Then he goes oh yeah i sent him on another call because I couldnt have him sit there and wait. I said sit here and wait? It took about 2-3 minutes for our neighbor to move his car. I told this man, Greg Im assuming, that I had my baby with me and weve been waiting.. ..are you serious? He said yep! I told him this is really bad customer service and he told me to go find someone else then and hung up on me. I left my review on his Facebook page and he deleted it. If you look at their FB page you will see they only leave the 5 star reviews on it so I just wanted potential customers to know how I was treated by him.

Coming down Wooster in Dover, driver comes to fourth street, is in left turn lane, continues to go straight, about hits me and down by eighth St I make left turn, he about hits me again, saw him swerve left. Seems like drivers dont pay attention to whats in front of them, too busy on cell phone

Called for tow on a work truck at approximately 1:35, location about 30 minutes from Gregs. I was told they would be to me in less than 45 minutes . Tow truck arrived at 3:45. Took driver an hour to lift hook up the truck. This is not the first time Ive experienced service like this from them. If my company would approve towing with a different company I would have stops using Gregs years ago

My truck broke down in Tallmedge. I live in Pennsylvania.. Made a fone call and within 30 mins, my pickup was on a tiltbed. Driver was extremely nice and professional. Hauled the ole girl all way back to Slippery Rock.. I greatly appreciate it guys......(and lady K)

One guy rude the other great. When trying to explain the situation to the rude guy about my speaking to the police department about getting my sons items out of the vehicle & my son probably couldnt come concerning personal reasons. He cut me off rudely every other word, even when I was calling the police department to speak to the officer that told me the above. He has no people skills whatsoever, & no understanding of situations that arise when youre not in tune with tow companies & the police stations rules. Furthermore, he continued to be rude & arrogant say it was me when all I was trying to do was not leave the towyard without speaking to the police officer on the phone who said she would let them know it was ok to release my sons items to me. He kept on finally I told him God Bless You over & over again, he continued if that shows anyone reading this the type of person he is. Lastly He was to make a copy of my sons ID, we came in to do that & he says what do you need, when he was the one that said he needed a copy. He started up again until I started singing Jesus be a fence, the Satan backed down. This was a police tow but dont call them on your own to get your car towed. Rude & no people skills whatsoever!
