Weve been using Akron Pest for a few years now, always with excellent results. For the most recent service, our tech Ryan, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and handled a very dangerous yellow jacket nest in our backyard.

We have mice in our garage and camper. Ryan came out (2 days after I called them which was awesome) and helped us with the mouse problem. His attention to detail and understanding of campers was amazing! He was on time, professional, understanding, and very knowledgeable. He even handled my screams, when a mouse ran by me in the camper, like a champ. We live in a heavily wooded area and the mice love to take take residence in our winterized camper during the winter months. We are used to having mice run around in garage and shed areas, but I am sooo happy that I am not going to have to deal with this type of infestation ever again in our camper (and garage)! Im not looking forward to the clean up, but at least I know Ill never have to do it again :-). We have had Akron Pest Control come out and get rid of burrowing bees in our deck before - they are gone and have not been back. We also have them spray for spiders every year. Phenomenal in every respect. After we had some long overdue weed work done on the property (essentially, mowing down a jungle), we had a massive carpenter ant infestation. We probably had thousands of ants in the home. They were literally everywhere. I even found them in places like my sock drawer or in things like unopened boxes of Qtips. We even had the big queen-sized ones with wings -- SO GROSS! YIKES!!!! Basically, it was a total horror show, and I almost considered staying at a hotel. I called Akron Pest Control and spoke with Pam, who was super nice, very funny, and totally sympathized with my state of panic. She managed to get us an appointment quickly and even called me the day of the appointment to move our time slot up a few hours, which was so very much appreciated. As for the service, our technician was Brian, who was nothing short of a pest control badass-guru. I explained to him that I had numerous cats and was worried about the ingredients in their spray, and to my pleasant surprise, he too is a cat owner and lover. He took the time to clearly explain to me the product they use and gave me so many bonus pointers and nuggets of info about pests in general. I cant believe how much I learned from him! Ever since the spraying, I have not seen a single living ant, indoors or outdoors -- period. Unbelievable. Furthermore, I have not had any of those stinky centipedes or those really hairy creepy things in the basement. Overall, this companys service is absolutely effective at controlling ants (in my case), and they employ highly attentive, respectful, and caring people. I will be using them every Spring from here on out.
