My personal favorite gym and only one ill go to. They provide wash cloths and disinfectant spray bottles so you can clean before and after you use machines... dont know any other gym that does this. I happily drive the 20 min here because of this

I have been coming here for four years. This is the best gym you will every go to. Locally owned and not part of a chain, the owner puts back into the gym. The variety you have is unlike any other and just constantly improves. It is clean, broken items are fixed fast and the staff is great.

This gym is great. Best in area in my opinion and I have been to several others. Fantastic variety of good equipment. Ive been going here for a couple years now and they are always getting new equipment to keep it fresh. The new leg room is awesome. All that said the only reason I dont give it a 5 star is the music. Maybe something changed recently with both the music that is played and the volume. I use on ear headphones and have to crank it all the way to not hear the lousy hip hop thats been blaring in the background. This was never an issue before and I love this gym so I would suggest noise cancelling headphones if you want to watch tv while doing cardio or to listen to your own music.

Ive been coming here everyday for just over a month and I gotta say its 100 times better than Planet Fitness. I started out at 231lbs and as I write this Im 203lbs and I plan on continuing.

I been attending this gym since it first open and loved it. Now the new owner took it up another notch especially with the great workout equipment that actually tones and builds bulk i wouldnt prefer any other gym. This gym is very clean and spacious i highly recommend anyone that wants to lose weight and tone up to attend.

No other gym compares to FF24! The gym is always clean, has a great lifting environment and is always welcoming no matter what experience you have in working out. They offer boot camp and Zumba classes throughout the week. There are awesome machines to use, lots of leg machines which I love. The owner and staff truly care about their members. I highly recommend this gym!!

This gym is awesome. Id gone here under a different ownership, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was shopping for gyms again at the work the new owner had put into it. That was about two and a half years ago. They have made MANY improvements since then. It is always clean. And....the staff is incredibly helpful. I had a locker issue once (somehow someone locked my locker), and they went above and beyond to help out. Great equipment, and people are there to work out, not stand around and chill. Which is a plus in my book. Highly recommended!!

Worked great for me visiting Akron for a week, no gym at the hotel and late hours. Just had to stop in one time with the front desk manned. Great equipment.

Im sorry, it was actually an accident and Im glad you replied because I got a notification from Google maps to rate my experience with another location and there was a delay apparently because I hit 1 star a few times and it rated lots of businesses Ive never even been to. At least I can fix this one and Ill give you 5 stars just for being that concerned about your business and what the public thinks! That shows me that your fitness center probably deserves it!! Poor gym business

This Gym is incredible! This gym is growing and becoming very successful, and supplies the best fitness environment around town. They have awesome Zumba and Yoga classes, Private Training, Boot camps, and many more. Ive very blessed that this gym has opened near my area, where there was no gym for almost a year. Many machines and equipment available and always adding more. This place has been an amazing upgrade for anyone needing to step up from places like planet fitness. Dont get me wrong this place is awesome for beginners as well. Do yourself a favor and at least check the place out you wont be disappointed.

One star due to the younger crowd at night who come in and film. They are rude, loud and take over many pieces of equipment and just sit around. I have an hour a day to complete my workout and waiting around for people to take pictures isn’t what I expected when I signed up.

I walked into Forever Fitness because of the close proximity to my home. I was surprised when I took a look around at all of the various equipment and cleanliness of the gym. I am always greeted with a smile and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend especially due to the flexible hours and even during busy hours there are enough machines/free weights to complete your workout.

I called forever fitness today to inquire about gym membership programs for senior citizens age 65 and up. The girl who answered the phone did not seem very knowledgeable about the gym and specific questions I needed answered. I have never been to a gym before and wanted to know how the process works and the availability of a personal trainer. I was told I could use a personal trainer but he charges money but she could not tell me how much that was. I was told that there was Zumba classes but I could not be told how much those were. she said if I had Silver Sneakers I could join for free I do not have that plan. I do have a different one and Im not sure what it covers which was what I was trying to find out. I guess I should have paid a visit to this establishment instead of calling. Management needs to make sure that their staff can answer the questions that I had instead of saying, umm, Im not sure, umm, youd have to ask the trainer. Umm, I dont know. Very unprofessional

I love this place I used to go all the time I have been off for a while due to an illness and plan on starting to go back again I belong to Silver Sneakers for seniors and with my insurance its free cant beat the price places clean have showers I enjoyed a lot I recommend if youre looking for a place to work out forever Fitness is the place to go

Fair pricing. Good selection of machines and free weights. Small selection of classes. Not as good of a deal as powerhouse if your looking for classes. Welcoming, 24hrs, and not very crowded.

I LOVE THIS GYM!They have everything you need to work every muscle group, a great selection of cardio equipment and a dedicated deadlifting room. What I love is the privacy I have while back squatting and deadlifting. The squat racks are not in the open, but tucked back into a separate area. They have equipment that most gyms do not have, for instance, an assault bike (which I love!), prowler sled with harness, a HIITMILL-X self-powered incline treadmill, arc trainers, and step mills. FF24 has rooms/areas specifically for the upper body, and lower body, TRX suspension trainers, three cable crossover machines, a CrossFit area with battle ropes, tractor tire, parallettes, boxing equipment and countless bosu, medicine and yoga balls.The staff is amazing! They are very helpful, friendly (they greet you and know your name) and they aren’t sitting behind a desk on their phones. They are vacuuming, mopping and wiping down the ENTIRE machine. The gym is the cleanest I have ever been to-no dust bunnies, the mirrors are without smudges and it was just freshly painted. It’s obvious that the owner and staff care about their gym!Of course, the machines break down from time to time, but the maintenance sign is up for a day (instead of for weeks like other gyms) and the machine is fixed and ready to be used. The tanning beds are great too! Did I mention they have duplicates of many machines, so you don’t have to wait for a leg press, hamstring curl or glute drive machine?!The monthly fee is cheap too!Its absolutely, 100%, hands down the best gym in the area!

I personally have jumped around from gym to gym for years. A lot of my friends, well pretty much all of them go to Forever Fitness in lakemore plaza and kept trying to get me to check it out. at the time I was out at the brand new & shiny La Fitness. The problem was that I could never get motivated due to it always being so busy with people who had a different mindset than myself when it came to working out. So finally I got fed up and decided to check out Forever. Needless to say I have never felt more welcomed at a gym. Everyone who trains there and everyone who works there is so friendly and always greets you when you walk in. Its also a 24 hour gym that requires a key card to get in so even after business hours I feel safe and secure. This gym has definitely been the best choice for me thus far. I recommend anyone looking for a new gym or a better gym to check it out!

This gym is great. Has everything needed to get a great workout. Great weight machines, free weights, cardio machines, seperate rooms for dead-lifting and other specialty workouts. Clean, comfortable and a very freindly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this gym for beginners, novices and experts looking to get or stay in shape.

I go for zumba when I can. If I lived closer I would have a regular membership. Best Zumba class around. Gym is clean. Everyone is friendly. Great place.

After years of working out at the YMCA, I became fed up with poor hours and the weight room always being overcrowded. In July of 2016, I decided to try Forever Fitness 24. The gym is always clean and has a lot of equipment to choose from. I usually end up working out around 9-10 PM and its not uncommon to see the owner working hard to improve the the gym, even late at night. The employees who sit at the front desk are also always staying busy, whether its answering questions or sweeping the floor. Members of the gym are polite, respectful and never make fun of other members - a huge relief to beginners. I have really enjoyed my membership and plan to renew for another year. The only thing I would like to see are showers in the locker room. Thank you FF24!

Great gym. Veryyy clean! Plenty of spray bottles and towels, staff consistently keeping the gym uncluttered and organized. The gym has plenty of free weights and some very nice ISO-lateral machines. Lots of low impact cardio equipment, stair steppers, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and row machines. There are TVs and mirrors around the entire gym, along with a tanning section. There is a designated deadlift room with bounce plates and three squat racks. The staff and patrons are friendly and knowledgeable. The size and quality of this 24hr gym is great, it is extremely affordable for what it is and what it has to offer.
