Huge place, lots of speed bumps in the parking lot. However there is a security guard who is brown skin and bald. He is extremely rude. He saw I was on crutches and the person I brought there had an id to get in and the guard took their ID card for nothing. When the person asked for their badge back, he called human resources (who we came to see)to the security booth and complained about what we dont know bcuz the human resource person told us. They were cool, but that security guard was flat out rude. He also told the person that they didnt need me with them. We were like huh? Basically it is my adult child and the guard literally said she need to go to the car you dont need your mommy. And yes we reported that. Amazon is cool so far but not dude

I can say honestly nothing is hard to do when it comes to work in the warehouse. The management is honest and willing to give you the resources to keep moving forward in your career path. The other great thing at least for me is its only fifteen minutes from home.

I applied for a position at the Amazon warehouse just for a couple of weeks until I started my real job. I was very excited to work at Amazon and see the ins and outs of the company I have been a customer of for almost 20 years. I started a couple of weeks ago and my first day was also my last. First and foremost the positions are advertised as making way more than they actually offer you. This is a tactic that is used, once you apply they give you a contingent offer and it will be a lot less than advertised. Upon arriving for my first day, the orientation was held right in the middle of the floor, you cannot hear absolutely anything anyone says because of the noise. The person hosting orientation suddenly tells us that our shift will be 12 hours long!!!! We were taken up to the 4th floor TWICE during our training period! 4 flights of stairs twice. Of course this is a warehouse job but just in case youre not aware, you will be standing up the entire shift, the entire 10 hours that you work. A couple of hours after practicing my responsibilities, I was yelled at by one of the learning ambassadors because I was too slow and I was made to read a 66 page tablet on quantity, expectations, etc. It was my FIRST day! Oh and I was made to read this standing up. On top of being on your feet during the entire shift, you will also be on your feet during your breaks. There are not enough chairs at this place which is ridiculous! There were elderly women standing up during their 30 minute breaks because the entire break room was full of people. This is a sweatshop! I absolutely do not recommend working at this place. I worked night shift which made it even worse. Overtime is mandatory! You cannot say no. You are absolutely, under no circumstances, allowed to be late at any point! So if youre running 1 minute late, this deducts a whole hour from your unpaid time off and youre in big trouble if this happens. I was very disappointed that Amazon treats their employees like this, especially on the first day, and I will never purchase anything from them again. I have also told all my friends and family not to purchase anything from them anymore. Highly disappointed! Hope this sweatshop runs out of business.

Has not been a good experience. My first week are trainer did not train use right then i was expected to perform like the others on my second week. They put me on decanted this i did good with till i got hurt. Now im putting masks in bag that is not bad. But the place they have you doing it at is very degrading. I have been threatened by a person under the mangers for picking more then one box off the line at a time stated that i would be making pallets if i keep it up. This only picking one box off the line is new to me at the time even everyone i talked to said the same. I just would like to be respected im a hard worker just need to get the swing of this and Ive only been here 30 days now and it has went down hill. I have been told they dont train properly because most people dont last more than a week.

Very easy place to work for if your willing to work. Flexible hours and the management is very polite. Positive environment, all tho its fast and repetative the day goes by quick. Very easy hiring process. Basically if you can pass a drug and backround test your hired.

Terrible place to work! They dont care if youre bleeding on the floor, the supervisor said ok and walked away. I had to leave and no one even called to check on me. I quit because of it, and still no phone call. I hope they get rid of that supervisor atleast. Dont work here!!!!

I came here for a recruitment appointment, just to find out they did not have any drug tests.( the whole point of their office.) I was not notified in anyway. They had loud music playing in the office area, making it hard to hear instructions. Every person I encountered was very rude, including the gate guard. I am glad I did not apply to this center, but its a shame that I had to travel all the way here for a different center.
