Brought my truck in on a Thursday for a Friday appointment and they diagnosed my problems on Thursday and had my truck ready by noon on Friday. Was riding very rough.Had brakes and rotors replaced, rearshocks, front struts and stabilizer bars replaced. Now it rides like new! Good price for all the work, could not be happier with the results. Telling everyone I know that I know a great mechanic!

I have been using Portage Lakes Automotive for at least 8 years. I honestly believe they have first rate mechanics and i know they provide first rate customer service. Going to a mechanic is like going to the dentist.No one wants to experience car problems but it is a reality of life. I would not even think about going somewhere else. The owner and his wife were nothing short of nice. I didnt have anyone to pick me up while they looked at my car, so they loaned me one. They kept my car to work on the next day, and I was able to keep the loaner. I am sure I will be taking my car there again.

I would highly recommend Portage Lakes Automotive to anyone. This place is amazing. Theyre are fair, honest and complete work as soon as they are able. My fuel pump went out last week. I dropped it off at Northfield Tire in Northfield since that place was close and they had just replaced this fuel pump in March 2018. They called me the next morning and told me itd be $1650 for fuel pump and inertia switch replacement. I then walked down to Portage Lakes Automotive (I live a half mile away from shop), and I was told it was very doubtful the inertia switch was bad, and then quoted $550 for the fuel pump replacement. The inertia switch was fine and I paid $550. I will use this shop from now on. They are A-Game!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had low tire pressure. Although they couldnt fix it right away and I needed my car, they filled my tire with air. The next day they fixed the tire which had a nail in it. Have used them many times for mechanical problems and so does my daughters family. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
