Honest people. I went because another shop said something about a $350 repair to my vehicle that I had never heard of such a repair. Also, replaced a rear axle in a separate vehicle and I had great experience both times.

Best place to get work done on your car

I have been going here for a few years ever since I needed to replace the transmission in my sisters car and was not sure how to get it done without getting ripped off. This place is really easy to work with and their prices usually beat anything else I found. The best part is that I trust their system and they actually catalog the work they do and give you a price up front before they do the work. They take pictures of the parts of your car that are broken and prove what needs done. This is in contrast to horror stories that I hear of shops quoting hundreds of dollars of the wrong work. This is the shop you want.

They are very kind and honest shop, they have very competitive pricing and preform repairs in a timely manner, I recommend them to anyone with any type of automotive repair needs. Fair priced and helpful explaining the work they did. My transmission was coming out of gear around 3k RPMs and turned out only needing some fluid (fluid was low and dirty). They performed a flush and I haven’t had any issue since (I’m 3 weeks out from out from then). Only small issue is they didn’t put my insurance device back in the diagnostic port where it was when I brought it there. Otherwise, everything was great.

This is a great place, great prices but mostly -- people you can trust. They have always been wonderful and worked to get me in when there were emergencies. Honestly though, its the trust I have in that I am not getting railroaded into an expense or repair that I dont really need. The owner has gone out of his way to explain problems my car has had and Zaina is the absolute best.

These guys took care of me and my car very well! I had an emergency situation with my transmission and I had called a few transmissions shops, with all of them saying they couldnt see my car for at least another week.Millennium squeezed me into their schedule that day to give a diagnosis and a time frame for how long it would take to fix, which was faster than I expected, all at a great price. My car is running great and the shifts in my Scion are silky smooth now. These guys were great and Id definitely go back to them in the future!Thanks again guys!

Ziad has been my mechanic since 2003 and I’ve never had to take back a car he fixed, the man is a genius and very honest, I’ve referred multiple people here.

I live write by here and they are always so busy, so I gave it a shot—-thank god I did! They were wonderful! Brought my Pontiac G6 GT 2008 hard top convertible in with issues-fixed it without a problem and a few other issues I had! Very very reasonable in price and very knowledgeable! I will be taking all of my cars to them if I can, I was amazed! I’ve been to a GM dealership and it was the worst experience of my life, plus the girl that worked in the service department was really really rude! This place is so friendly, I definitely would refer everyone here!

If you need it fixed right, the first time, this is the place. They will not try to sell you something you dont need and will deal with you fairly. Just had my rear differential rebuilt there and it works perfectly. Also took in my car fearing a 700-800$ repair which they easily could have told me i needed and would have had to bite the bullet on but instead they informed me it was a simply fix and got it done that day. I find it hard to trust most mechanics considering their paycheck reflects the amount of things they say is wrong with my car, but i trust these guys.

Took my pickup here when it started pouring transmission fluid out the bottom. I feared the worst. They looked at it, found out that only the cooler lines had rusted out. Had it back fixed the next day. Fantastic service, price was better than was imagining, and the staff (mainly Dana) was very communicative. I live outside of Wooster, but work in Akron. I found my new go to shop for my work region! Thanks guys!

Absolutely horrible experience. My wife and I just moved and needed a new mechanic. We read the reviews before hand so both of us were very at ease. We went for simple repairs and my wife said the representative who was the owners own daughter was so rude and snide. Completely unprofessional. The kind of establishment you go to and then end up having 10 more issues then originally anticipated.

For 12 years this is the only mechanic I have taken my vehicles to, even after my husband and I got stationed in Virginia. For example, my car was just in Ziad’s care and I’ll be traveling back to Ohio to pick it up. Always attentive to the customers needs, doesn’t try to take advantage of females like most shops do, and explains in detail what will be done when your car is in the shop. Will continue to trust Millenium Transmission with my vehicles as long as they’re in business.

Brought it here because was previously advised that I was having transmission issues 🙄. So I took it to a place close to home and that had wonderful reviews.AND ITS LEGIT. The staff was friendly from the first call to make the appointment, until the time I checked out.I had the transmission diagnosed, no issues found, but had the small issue of my heat shield being lose fixed.Huge thank you to the staff for being so kind, honest, and fast! I went in thinking I needed brakes instead of doing the brakes, charging me, and sending me on my way. They were honest and said the noise was only rust and not a safety issue. You don’t find people like this these days I will always bring my car here and I highly recommend Millennium.

I love this place best service Ive ever had I will never go anywhere else EVER my transmission went out everywhere I called price was much higher and they only offered 6 month warranty millennium gave me 2 yr 24.000 mile warranty wow . And when u call they answer u dont have to waste time calling and calling and when they check on parts and have to call back they do promptly definitely not used to that iam more than pleased to say the least . I had the same SUV at Hyundai many times all they did was screw me over with prices and they literally broke my car twice and still had nerve to charge me . Millennium is the only place I will ever trust thank God I found them definitely a miracle and its also family owned thats a plus too. THANK U MILLENNIUM

Horrible service I came in to have my car tested and everyone sat around for a hour before they did anything. Then they come back from the test drive let all type of dirt in my car cans told me it would cost 1,524$ then I went somewhere else and got the exact same estimate going off of what millennium said I needed done and three other shops could do it for less then 300$ next time don’t try to take rob a teenager some do know what’s right and wrong.

My life has gotten easier knowing I can actually TRUST a mechanic. Ive been taking cars to Millennium Transmission & Auto Care for over 8 years and have never needed to return any of my 9 cars for the same issue. I even bought an SUV from their car lot ZAutoSales.us and have never had an issue. The owner buys vehicles and actually works on any issues before selling them instead of just cleaning them and selling junk like all the other lots in Northeast Ohio. Everyone needs to hear about this family operated business that has the highest BBB rating possible for over 24 years and no complaints. When my kids get of driving age, they will always come to your familys business and they love all of your family.

Clutch completely went out on my truck while driving across the country to report to Missouri for military duty Monday. Explained the situation to the owner on a Friday afternoon. Not only did he put his guys on overtime right there to have it done for me that next Saturday morning, but he charged a very fair price and what I would have expected from a good affordable shop at their leisure. Add to that he fixed up a few extra things on my transmission and changed my oil for free. Lived a few places and seen a number of shops, this one is quality. Go here for your major engine work.The clutch rolls great.

I take all my business to Millennium for all my car needs. I started going there for convenience but Ive stayed with them for 4 years now because they are always so good. They know their cars and the cars owners. Always a pleasure!

This is a family owned, personable shop that took the time to deal with me like a human being. They got the clutch changed in my Toyota Corolla in about a day and a half at a price lower than the other shops were quoting but what really impressed me was how right from when I called they scheduled me to come in for a free estimate inatead of the vauge numbers other shops threw up in the air over the phone. Come on in here and they will take care of you.

Premiere Transmission shop in Akron area! Hard to find a good, honest transmission shop, this is the place! When I dropped off the vehicle, I was given an estimate of possible cost of repairs. The price was really fair and I was afraid that when I returned to pick-up it would be more. To my surprise the price was slightly less than I was told. What a relief!!! This was not an easy job. I hope I never need another tranny rebuild.......but if I do, I will be back here!

Well I seen the great reviews for this place. I took my truck here and I have to say the reviews are 100% right. This place is run by a family who are very honest. I had them look at my rear axle and I dont know much about it but they serviced it, looked at it, removed the axles to make sure they were not bent and so on and said nothing was wrong. They could have told me it needed fixed but they didnt. Very pleased with the outcome. Its nice to see an honest repair shop. I have a bad vibration and with their help, I think we figured it out. I am now getting the part ordered to fix my vibration. I need a new driveshaft and its a special order. Thank you for being honest and the prices are excellent and not over priced. The staff are very nice and helpful. The owner really cares about the quality of work on your cars & trucks. I seen him in the shop looking over every mechanics work, making sure everything was up to his standards and I was very impressed. Hes the owner and he works in the shop with his employees.

Ive brought two of my vehicles for service here. The first one (about 3 years ago) was a transmission issue. A local Monro tried to tell me that my engine mounts needed replaced. Ziad found no such problem and thoroughly explained the transmission issue. The issue was fixed and has never had a problem since then.My second vehicle was serviced here back in August. Ziad was able to diagnose the issue of a fried engine control module (ECM) and explained the chain of events which probably led to its failure.I was originally quoted a cost of about $1000 for the ECM (new). I talked to a local Honda dealer who told me that the part could be purchased used for close to $400. I called Ziad back, and he patiently worked with me and discovered that he too could get the ECM used. With his lower cost per hour for labor, Ziad was the clear choice to go with. What originally could have been a total repair of $1500 was cut in half because of the work of Ziad, Zaina, and the rest of the team who patiently worked with me to get my car running again. It runs smoother and quieter than before the original ECM failed! I highly recommend Millennium Transmission.
