I went to Pet Smart in Aiken and explained that our dog Bandit has been feeling very bad and has had something like Kendal cough. I explained his condition and then Woman who assisted me was extra helpful and she also helped me chose Milos home style dog treats to help with his apatite which she showed me exactly where they were. She was very helpful and understanding I was very satisfies with all of help and Bandit our dog loved the treats which helped with his appitite and made him a lot be free and eat his dog food.

Today was my husband and I first visit to PetSmart. We found everything at a very reasonable price. Our dog has an upcoming appointment for grooming. The employees are very nice and super attentive.

I bought my dog in for groomer with flea bath, hes an inside dog, I thew away the covers in the kitchen like the sales women at pet smart told me to do .I wanted to call sooner but weve had lots of work and things going on, when I got home sprayed the bedroom floor I then bout him inside I saw fleas jumping everywhere and I was told he didnt have please Sonian very angry spending that much money to be lied to.It was charlie TaylorI really want half money back to go somewhere else or give him another flea bath.Charles Taylor

PetSmart is a clean and well stocked pet goods store. The employees at the Aiken SC store are friendly and willing to help however they can. And they carry hard to find items most big box stores dont carry.

Good place with a wide selection of cat food, toys, and more! Just make sure you check the app on prices because Ive found the app consistently has a lower price on food. The cashiers will price match.

This place is always clean and usually has everything in stock. There pet selection is alright, hence the 4 stars, however the staff is very friendly and helpful so thats always a huge bonus.

Going into the Aiken Petsmart is always an enjoyable trip for my fur babies (and scaley ones as well). The petsmart staff are always friendly and always make it easy to ask for help. My last several trips in to the store have been pleasant ones, minus one (no fault AT ALL to the store). I definitely recommend this store to all new pet owners in Aiken.

Nice pet store. They have lots of things for dogs, cats, small animals, and fish. Great prices and sales, and the Halloween costume I got my pup is amazing! The staff all seem like animal lovers and are as helpful as can be.

We purchased a leopard gecko. We have never owned a reptile before this one. But the lady that helped us was very informative and helpful. And with there help its been so easy learning how to car for our new pet.

Go here today if you want to be ignored if you need fish.Better yet,dont go.Ive never seen so many dead fish in a pet store.The employees could at least clean them out of the tanks.Sheesh!BEWARE

I went in to restock my 75 gallon tank and it seemed to be a problem with the amount of fish that I wanted and the type of fish that I wanted to mix... mind you I have had the same aquarium for 4 years with the same amount and mix of fish, and maintained it beautifully... Someone came in behind me and wanted to mix cichlids and koi together in a no more than 20 gallon tank and it didnt seem to be a problem... On top of that it seems everyone in the store was staring at me the whole time... I dont know if I stepped on the wrong side of town but the vibe was very uneasy being as though I was the only BP there

Terrible. Got chased down and made to ware a mask. Will never shop there again. State of South Carolina says we have freedom of choice. I am not persmarts puppet.

I Love, love, love PetSmart in Aiken.. no joke, every single person that works there is so sweet and helpful!! Ive never been to a PetSmart (or any pet store, honestly) where the customers, and pets (especially the ones they have for sale) are treated So well. The employees, who work in Pet Care, are Legitimately so kind and caring, whether you want to buy a new pet, or you are just looking for fun, they seem to always enjoy educating people, in a sweet, non-pushy way, and with no negative attitude, whatsoever. I never feel rushed, or like Im not important, and that really means a lot in these days. :) I used to think that all big box pet stores treated the animals they sold, basically, like garbage.. I even used to ask people to please not buy pets from chain stores like this.. But, I must apologize because, I have officially been proven wrong! I can honestly say, these people love and take care of the animals they come into contact with each day, and it truly shows! The love and kindness, the employees of Aiken PetSmart show, is definitely Much greater than any of the other pet stores Ive been to in Aiken. Whats even better is, they are Smart! They Know their stuff for sure. And, anytime theres been a question, they have happily looked it up or called a co worker. Ok, I apologize if this sounds like a love letter to PetSmart! LOL. Weve just had such great experiences the last few times weve gone, and its so rare to leave a store after spending a lot of money, and still feel so good about yourself and have a smile on your face. Shopping can often and quickly turn into something that can put a damper on your whole day! So, Im just extremely grateful for, those very few times that, a shopping experience actually Adds Positivity to my day!! 🥰

Terrible experience with a young female service rep. Girl actually told me she would not sell me any fish! All because I mentioned we have 2- 1 gallon tanks. I’ve worked in fish and aquarium store for years. Learned lots about raising various types, tropical and saltwater fish. Was learning to grow coral reef when boss closed business due to illness. With that said, I think the girl was way out of line to speak to a customer in the manner that she did. Very rude! I won’t be going back. They quickly cheated themselves a Benjamin Franklin! My husband was also furious and he’s a calm cool person. Anyways y’all. Sorry for ranting. I’m done. Just wanted to explain why I gave a one star rating.

Bought 2 Betta Fish from there. 1 was sick with parasites and swim bladder issues and the other seems okay. Both are quarantined separately until their individual tanks are set up properly and cycled. I did hear a few employees give some rather bad advice to customers about putting 2 male Bettas together. In addition to that, they allowed some people to buy a rather large amount of goldfish and said they would be fine in a fish bowl. Im not blaming the staff member, but I am blaming the company for allowing staff members to give horrid advice on a subject they seem to barely be knowledgeable in. The company should supply a proper course to employees so they can further their education as well as provide a better hand to the community when it comes to fish and fish keeping.On the other side, they have a decent selection of tanks, filters, and other aquarium equipment. They also have a small, but good selection of live plants. Would like to see more wood and rock available though. They also have a larger selection of fake plants and rocks compared to Petco, but if youre looking for the real deal, petco would be a good place to go if you dont know of any other fish supply stores in the area. They also have a good selection of gravel and sand substrate.They also have some nice cabinets for the bigger tanks, as well as larger decor for those tanks.Over all I do like Petsmart, I just wish the fish were cared for properly, and staff to be more educated.

Place seemed clean until I went to the restroom around 230pm. Wow. Looks like nobody cares.

I’d like to see more organization from Petsmart. I don’t usually go to any Petsmart because their prices are ridiculously high in comparison to literally any other outlet store for pets. The small bed that they were trying to push for $34 is literally $20 in Petco and $16 at the PetShoppe $9 on Amazon. The aisle in Petsmart aren’t labeled enough so you just have to wander into what you might be looking for. Since it’s a pet store that welcomes pets of all ages, it would only make since for them to have a some sort of cleaning station on each aisle. I’ve seen new puppies pee/poop on the floor and it’s up to an associate to come see it and clean it. Why? It should be easy for the owner to pickup after his pet has any sort of accident and it’s currently not like that. Get it together.

Pet smart was very thorough in cleaning and grooming my fur baby. She is a border collie/chow mix and absolutely ABHORES getting her rear hunches brushed. Because her coat is so thick, and Im unable to properly care for her, she had developed a few mats and was suffering in the heat. They did an excellent job removing the matted hair and giving her a close shave in order for a fresh new coat to come through so she can get some relief. They cleaned her ears, clipped her toenails, and gave me a report on how well she behaved and what I needed to follow up on in order to get her in better health. She looks so much better with her freshly trimmed fur and feet. I feel sure she will be happier throughout the rest of this hot and muggy summer (even if she does wear a fur coat every day 😄)!

We stopped in today to get a collar and harness for our newest addition to the family and decided to get some new additions for the aquarium while we were there. The staff member that assisted us was extremely courteous and knowledgeable with helping us to choose good tank mates for the fish we already have. Got everything we went for and more!

My family have been bringing our 1 1/2yr old puppy here every month, for her washing and grooming. Weve had her since she was 8wks old and shes always been excited when its time for washing and grooming at PetSmart Aiken. But the past two appointments shes been scared to go in for her grooming, so today I cancel her appointment because she did not want to go in with the staff member at curbside service. And when you see your child is that scared to go with someone... then you dont make them go.Im not sure what one of the staff may have done to her, to make her so afraid to go into PetSmart Aiken now, but I will be looking for a grooming company.

If you have a golden retriever, I highly recommend Donna at the Aiken, SC store to groom your dog. She is fantastic and very patient with our dog. She reassures our Sadie that the nail trimmers are not boogeymen and will not hurt her. Donna is Gentle, calm, and takes pride in her work. Donna knows all the tricks to get the dog to stand still and turn which results in an awesome cut. Sadie is so relaxed after her day at the spa with Miss Donna, that all she wants to do is get home and take a nap!

Easy to see from the street and easy to park. Store is clean and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. I come here to buy fish tank things. Sometimes they have better deals than Amazon, sometimes they dont. If you order online and then pick it up in store, you can get a price discount.

First time here and I felt as if I was at my hometown PetSmart. Very attentive and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer a few questions I had and then answered a few my daughter had. We were just looking at the beautiful store and animals as this one is much bigger than in my town and she came back a few times to check and make sure we didn’t need more help. The particular worm my daughter needed was sold out and she told my daughter they would have some Thursday so we are excited to go back since we are still in town! They have a nice selection of aquarium and stands on sale right now!
