I knew I wanted to work with her after our 1st phone call, but her free consultation was more informative and less stressful than most doctor visits I have had! Truly, she has dedicated her life to helping others, like me. Nobody wants excess body hair. We all know that. Plenty of people will take your money and perform a service, but I guarantee they won’t care like she does. It is obvious that she cares just as much about educating you and making you feel comfortable as she does about getting your business. I was on a waitlist for a couple of months, but it was worth the wait. If you are on the fence, call her. Her consultation is truly free and you will learn so much.

Nicole is amazing! I have extreme facial hair on my chin & neck due to PCOS. I scheduled my first electrolysis appointment upon my dermatologist’s suggestion. After my hysterectomy, I had started developing coarse unwanted hair on my face — it was annoying and embarrassing. I had tried depilatory creams but my skin was too sensitive. I had been tweezing for years but the hair just seemed to get more coarse and unruly. I scheduled the first consultation with trepidation. I was so nervous about the procedure being painful. When I entered the ultra-clean, beautifully decorated Evello Electrolysis office, located within the Houndslake Wellness building, my mind was immediately put to ease. I had an amazing experience. Nicole Cook is professional and knowledgeable while also being warm and nurturing. She is an excellent electrologist. She is also a natural educator - she explained how the process works - how long it takes - all based on the science of hair growth. I also learned that electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal. It was fascinating. Was it painful - only slightly more than the tweezing I had been subjecting myself to over the years. Nicole was gentle and sensitive to keeping me within my comfort level. She adjusted the equipment if the sensation was a little too strong for me. I had some residual redness - but it was gone within a few hours. I’m looking forward to going back for my follow-up sessions and to finally reaching a point of never having to tweeze again.
