Melody was quick, fast, friendly, sweet and I have been coming here since I was 23! I’m 43! So the last 20 years. Only Walmart and this place cashes checks! Walmart couldn’t read my check and they can’t manually enter checks into the system so i came to money mart in Aiea! The best decision made. They cashed my check of $3400 and the fee was worth saving me the wait for the 2 days. Thanks Melody! ❤️

I went here on 12/30/2017 at 2 pm just to get a few money orders, and the cashier wanted to know my employment information. When I refused to give her that information, she wanted to take a picture of me??!!! Now I can see needing to verify my employment if I was trying to borrow money from them, but they were going to get money from me, so there was no need to know where I work at. One can go get money orders from 7-11, Times, Wal-Mart and the Post Office, and they do not ask for such personal information. Heck, none of those places even ask for your name or ID card the way Money Mart does when you want to get a money order. In the end, she refused to sell me those money orders because I would not give her my work information and I would not let her take a picture of me.My guess that this rude cashier either 1. was going to use my personal information for fraud purposes or 2. was planning on quitting so she thought she could treat customers anyway she wanted. Needless to say, this place lost my $1,500, which I then took to the local 7-11 where I got my money orders without any questions.

Shantell and Riscia are the reasons why I switched my money mart locations! These two have made my experience here feel like I wasn’t even conducting a business transaction. Their warm, outgoing, friendly, lovable personalities have made all the difference🙌🏼Two professionals that have a great Aloha spirt and the capabilities of making anyone’s day amazing! If you haven’t been to this location it’s definitely worth the drive ton have a chance encounter with these tow beautiful women! Super friendly people there! I thought 5% was a bit steep for check cashing, but I went to several other places first that wouldnt even accept my check. Including PayDayHawaii, who told me NO because they dont cash checks over 2 weeks old (it was 20 days old, and mailed from europe lol).
