I purchased2 tickets for the happy hour with goats and tarot for 7pm on FEVER. The app instructed to email the venue 29oaks ranch to confirm the reservations. I did, and the owner said see you there! The day of the event my sister drove 2 hours to attend the event with me, as I bought the tickets for her birthday present. When we went to check the address at 5pm, FEVER said cancelled. However, we didnt receive any emails from FEVER or from the owner at 29 oaks, so we decided to go over there to make sure it was cancelled and not just some weird mistake. But first I tried calling, which no one answered but a voicemail said to text her... so I did... which she didnt respond, and sent her an email as well... all to avoid going down there. Since we didnt hear from her, we decided to go to the venue to inquire, because the tickets were not cheap. When we arrived, there were no other cars, but we saw the owner near the entrance, and just decided to verify. My sister asked her if the event for 7pm was cancelled because the app said cancelled but we hadnt received an email or refund. The lady said well if it was cancelled, then its cancelled. 🤔 So we said ok... We just wanted to check....and she said... Cant you feel the weather? And looked at us like we were stupid and annoying her. It was about 64 degrees outside and not abnormal for this time of year... And it wasnt raining. My sister said look we were just asking, you dont have to be rude. She said she wasnt being rude. Lol so we drove away... Completely turned off by the owner and the venue after that. Later that evening around 9:30 the owner sent an email saying that the goats were pregnant and wouldnt have been much fun for us anyways, and she hopes we will come back to try again. Lol after the attitude she threw at us, you can bet that will never happen! I understand if you dont want your pregnant goats to be cold... But first of all, why make your pregnant goats have to show for an event with tons of people especially if it wont be fun for everyone... Second of all, where do you keep your goats? The horses were all outside with no shelter, do you bring the goats indoors and keep them by a fire? She could have simply kept the venue event by offering guests to simply not have the goats playtime or offer to reschedule tickets to a sunnier day... But none of that was offered. It was just bad customer service all around. Whether you think it should be obvious or not, you dont treat paying customers like theyre stupid, when they are just asking if the event was cancelled. Plain and simple.
