Yellow Jacket Bees had made their way into our home. American Pest Solutions came out when they said they would. The problem was quickly resolved. The entire staff was very professional. I would highly recommend them.

We have used American Pest Solutions several times over the last 15 years.German Cockroach Infestation - the first house we bought had an infestation. We struggled with this problem for years, hiring Terminex only to have the population reduced. We decided to spend a little more money and hired APS and they were eradicated.Termites- we had a few flying termites in our newer house. I actually think they came from a decaying tree however we had the house treated. This was expensive but, not as expensive as termite damage.Bug/Spider treatment - We opted for the bug and spider treatment. This required monthly appointments to treat the interior and exterior of the house. During the time we paid for the service we did not have spiders. Scheduling was an issue several times where we had little to no notice of the appointment. We cancelled this service because we decided that a completely bug free home was not worth the expense. We did get what we paid for though.Hornet Nest - my most recent call was today to treat a large hornet nest in a shed. Its in an area that is a danger so it needs to be removed and the nest is large enough where I do not trust doing it without protective gear which I do not own. I put in an web request and received a call 15 minutes later. The estimated cost to remove this nest is going to be $175. $175 to have someone to make a house call and exterminate a stinging insects is an amazing value. (Disclaimer, if you have a very large bee/hornet problem this cost will likely be higher)Another note, if you have a hornet nest bigger than a tennis ball call a professional. Hornets will chase you 300 feet and while timid the worker bees returning to the nest will swarm you if provoked.

We’ve been using American Pest Solutions for over 10 years now. Overall we’re very pleased with the service and are on a yearly renewal plan.The only reason a star is knocked off was for this year’s (2021) service. We paid our yearly renewal fee in February. At the beginning of June, we started noticing carpenter ants in the house. Realizing we hadn’t seen them come by to spray, we called to see if we had received our treatment (they hadn’t).They were able to get us on the schedule the next day, but still kind of frustrating that we paid the fee and had to call to remind them to show up.

I am very happy with the thoroughness of the inspection and treatment received so far. Technicians are easy to talk to and take the time to listen to problems and give solutions.

Recently I approached our Rose of Sharon bush to be pruned. I was attacked by a swarm of white face hornets. After asking a friends opinion he directed me to American Pest Solutions. A representative came to our home and diagnosed what was going on, a nest the bush the size of a large cantaloupe was very active. Within a couple of days a technician came and extinguished the nest. The technician recommended we stay away from the area for a few days, that was yesterday. He said any further problems call immediately. So far we are heeding their advice. Activity has slowed down but we will continue to stay away for a day or two.

Sean did a good and thorough job on his last visit. My only complaint, and its not a big one, is that I wasnt contacted that he was running late and would arrive about an hour and a half to two hours after the appointed time. He did call me on the road, but it was well past the time. I tried to reach the office earlier, but couldnt get anyone on the phone and left messages. Sean later told me that the phones werent working properly in the new office. That may be so, but I did try both Mass. and Conn. offices and got the same results - a recorded message.

Shawn was great to talk with and gave me several suggestions on how to improve the outside to help with pest control. Hope he comes back to do the follow up next week. Shawn took his time looking under in and around sinks, toilets, boiler room. He even got up on a ladder to spray the eves that had bees 🐝 nest. Very satisfied with America Pest Solution so far.

Will not service a building you own unless you live there. So if you have rental properties they will not service them.

There was confusion as to the appointment. On Monday morning the appointment was rescheduled from Friday when it was too wet to put down the applications. The rescheduled time was for 1:45 pm. The serviceman arrived at about noon and indicated he couldnt put down all of the applications. He did agree to come back at 1pm and did put down all of the applications.It is important to understand that due to the fact we could not have access to the outside for two hours after the applications we planned around the 1:45 appointment. Normally we would not be in residence at this time of year. Nothing is normal these days and should be taken into account.

John was very helpful with explanations and care in treating the house.

We could hear a little critter gnawing daily that seemed to be trapped behind a wall. Our efforts to get rid of it failed as we had no idea of how or where it got in. We called American Pest Control based upon previous reviews and we are very happy we did. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. We got an email confirming the appointment that included a picture and name of who to expect. Eric came on time, checked everything, explained the treatment plan and cost. Next appointment was for the treatment, another email with a picture of Caesar. Just had our checkup with Miguel. We have been VERY impressed with this company!! Communication is excellent, employees friendly and competent, and no more gnawing after day 2. We highly recommend this company.

I have had reöcurring bouts with carpenter ants and carpenter bees. APS is dealing with those well.

I’m always happy with your services. I’ve been with you a while now. I originally had field mice in my basement because of all the woods around my house. Your service man came in 2 days ago and there’s no sign of them. Hopefully theyve gone elsewhere. I’ve used you for bees nests in my garden, etc. You always do a fantastic job.

Sham came to the house on time, and was very cooperative in walking with me around the basement area. We identified some potential openings in the foundation where the mice might be coming through, and took the time to remove some insulation pieces and plug those potential leaks. I really appreciated his patience.

Technician is courteous and knowledgeable about our mice problem in the attic. However, after 6 months the problem still exists. The technician has stated the mice are getting in and out but cant find where. The technician has shown up to service the traps unannounced. We never get a notification either by phone or email one week prior to his arrival. This is supposed to be handled by the home office not the tech. Luckily we have been home the times he has arrived. As senior citizens on a fixed budget the high cost of this service without the resolution we expected is disappointing.

The entire staff at APS are always helpful and professional but we are partial to Sean! He always has a smile and is a pleasure to work with. All the staff are quick to explain the what and why of what they doing. We have a dog and have never had an issue with the products they use.

Top notch! I used to get smelly mouse carcasses in my walls every winter. So frustrating as there was nothing to do but wait out the smell. Since Ive been using APS I have had NO smelly mice or mice droppings in my kitchen cabinets. I also super appreciate that they do not use glue traps. Also much improvement with the ants in the spring / summer. Thanks!

My problem is with the scheduling. Someone calls and announces a date when the technician will come and to call if this is not convenient. The service called to say the technician would be there on March 8. Because this was okay with us I didnt call. Nobody showed up on March 8. When I called to find out why she said that our file showed that unless we confirmed they didnt come. The phone call didnt say that. This is not how my doctor, dentist, or other professional services handle appointments. We agree on a time that is mutually convenient and call if it needs to be changed. On the follow-up appointments we are paying $5-$10 per MINUTE! I think we are due some courtesy.

We selected American Pest Solutions because we wanted to go with a family owned busines. We live in an older house and had a problem with mice and after having spent alot of money, and no results, we knew had to do something different. The technicans were professional and responsive to all of our questions. We have seen a noticeable difference in a very short period of time. I cannot believe how much money we wasted on the national competition, and they did little more than put down glue traps. We actually caught mor mice with traps we purchased after paying them. Ridiculous. I wish we had called American Pest Solutions in the first place!

Showed up the day I called. Looked at the yellowjackets nest and took care of the problem immediately. Very recommended, fast friendly and now Im not getting stung.
