The staff is great. Everyone is kind and compassionate. Pets are well taken care of.

Great technicians. Allowed to be in examination with your pet which I think keeps them a bit calmer.

Ive been taking my cat here for years, and Ive always been very impressed with the service, quality of care, and COVID precautions. On a recent trip my car battery failed in the parking lot, and the staff jumped my car for me. I would definitely recommend them.

If youre reading this and you take COVID-19 seriously, do not come here. These people do not care at all about social distancing and their procedures are flimsy and unprofessional. The staff spoke at our family from less than 5 feet without a mask on and was not aware until we told them to put on the mask for our safety. We have immuno-deficient family members and the experience was truly frightening. We have taken our dog to the vet in Concord, and they speak to us about our dog through the phone instead of in person which made us feel much safer. If you re looking for a clinic that takes COVID-19 procedures seriously, do not come here.

Dr. Kelman and his staff are knowledgeable, kind and responsive. I have been bringing my dog to Dr. Kelman for many years. He has a gentle bedside manner that is so important in this setting. He knows his stuff and always is up on the latest research and products for my dog. When I have had an emergency, he and his staff respond very quickly and go out of their way to help. Can’t recommend him enough.

We had worked with Dr. Kelman before and we were delighted when he opened Great Road Veterinary. He is a wonderfully compassionate and knowledgable doctor with a staff to match. Cant say enough good things about him! My kitty thinks hes pretty good too...and hes a tough grader!

The visit was great. My puppy will be happy when he returns, because he was actually having fun and relaxed. Dr Kelman was amazing, patient and gentle during the exam and vaccination. My puppy actually fell sleep. The doctor took the time to address all my concern and was patient and friendly, and took the time to answer he million questions i had. Dr. Kelman took the time to make my puppy feel comfortable with him, and helped introduce the stuff and visitors to my puppy for extra socialization. He made my dog feel comfortable and the experience enjoyable for both me and my puppy. Thank you!

Ive been taking my dog to Acton Animal Hospital for 7 years. We see Dr. Johnston and couldnt be more pleased. She is excellent with her explanations of possible causes of health issues. I came in sure my dog had a hip issue and she immediately could see that all movement was within the normal range. The cost to treat my dog for Lymes and for possible ingestion of poison, were clearly explained to me before any procedures happened. I like that they immediately clip her claws upon arrival as I know that my attempts are not as bold! Most appointments can be made within a day of calling.
