Havent been to Mr. Gattis in years but we came to celebrate my nephews birthday. It was really fun. Food was good and the arcade room was decent. My only complaints was it was warm inside (it felt cooler outside) and the TV rooms(or the whole place really..) could use a little update. Couldnt even really see the movie playing or hear it. But overall, it was fun and we plan on bringing our kids in the future.

We are from out of town and had never been before. Great experience. Four year old loved the mini roller coaster. Adults loved the buffet.

So, several things:1) Ice cream machine in the middle of the walkway to the game room. During a pandemic.2) Maskless employees who say theyre not vaxxed.3) Asked three times for paper towels in the mens restroom to be replaced by three different employees. Hand dryer wasnt working.4) Needs more employees. An ice cream sat in the walkway for 10 minutes on the floor by the ice cream machine. Hell, there should be one employee CONSTANTLY going around sanitizing the game machines, including the skee balls and such. Though, honestly, I havent been in there to see besides a quick look around.5) Food is good. Not as good of a variety as I remember, but it is a slow day and there is a pandemic. But good food doesnt excuse the four points above. Also, turn up the volume a tad in the kids TV room by the register. Couldnt hear a thing even when in there by ourselves, over the small TV playing football.

* $12/kid (bronze) except the birthday kid, include the pizza buffet and $8 game card. The birthday kid is free, gets a shirt, a paper tiara, and $16 game card. Adults pay separate for the food and game.* The pizza is ok, still hot, crunchy. The spaghetti is not that good. All candy they gave for each kid is that much in the picture below LOL.* They dont have many types of games. Some of them do not working. All are from $0.25 - $4, usually $1 - $1.50. There are two games took my money but did not run 😭Overall it is still nice.

Ive been going my whole life to this location so its so nicely nostalgic. Love the salad bar and the kids love the gameroom. Game play is high with many costing $1.50, but we love the mini coaster and bumper cars!

They have an awesome salad bar! Always fresh tasting. Their pizzas taste good, the spaghetti taste great and the desserts as well. It was a very busy evening but they managed to pull through with having everything available for everyone. Also the employees were very nice and helpful. Will definitely go again!

Scheduled birthday party with fifty people and great service even with a short handed staff. Kids had a wonderful time. Games are a little pricey though.

Ive enjoyed visiting Gattis since I was a kid (Im in my 30s now), and decided to stop here on our way back home from out of town. On thursdays moms eat free, although I was charged for an adult drink without being asked :/ The buffet had several hot pizzas and the salad bar had a variety of toppings (which is great bc Im vegetarian). We had a blast in the arcade; my 5 y.o. liked the bumper cars and the roller coaster. Theres quite a few games to play, but the older ones towards the back right corner (if leaving arcade) didnt work, as well as a couple of others scattered around. The bathroom was clean. Its an older buffet, but its always a fun place to take kids and grab a bite.

My kids love it they have decent food it is disgustingly dirty in there and you would have thought when they were close for cover they would have like went through and cleaned everything but everything you touched is just disgusting and I know theres a bazillion kids coming through there but they could have a deep clean day once a week that would really help people walk around trying to take your plates while youre still eating instead of wiping down a booth or doing something productive they need to get some people who know what theyre doing and who dont harass you as youre eating and they need to clean clean but I do love the place and a lot of their games never work either and its hard to get an attendant at any ride but my kids love it so I deal with it

Pre-pandemic Mr. Gattis was my favorite place to go and have some good food. My favorite food is pizza and this has been the pizza of my choice! My last visit was very poor . The Mac n cheese was cold and not ready to be placed out for guests. The eggs on the salad bar were wet and soggy, didnt put any on my salad because didnt look appetizing and there was no regular sauce for spaghetti. There was no pizza on the buffet and have you to be ready to head to the front when it gets called over the speaker. I will say the pizza was good but would have liked to enjoy the rest of my options.

We were visiting, and found this little gem. The salad bar and pizza buffet were perfect for our large family. The kids enjoyed playing the games after we ate.

Plates were all dirty. Cashier was weird. I had to wipe down the plates for the kids. Food was all fresh and good.all my nephews and nieces had fun. And the deserts are really good too.

Greatest pizza buffet in town. First time here but not the last, let’s start with the prices excellent I’m here with my wife and for both of us we pay only 18$ all you can eat salad bar, pizza bar, desserts station and soft drinks station with “ICE” soda drink and ice tea. Of course the price is before 4:00 o’clock pm. But even after dark the price can’t be beat for more details on there prices and hours just ask Google. They also have a game room area and a Fun Flicks Room with a giant screen. The place was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful since it was our first time there I had to ask how the buffet works and at the game room again had to ask a staffer how to get a Mr. Gatti’s Rechargeable playing card to use the games this employee was very happy to show me everything I needed to know. Highly recommended for anyone with or without kids after all WE ALL LOVE PIZZA AND GAMES. For the young at heart.

Pizza wasnt ready, macaroni was under cooked .wasnt reg spaghetti sauce the eggs on the salad bar looked like they were frozen and looked like there was water was in it .But the employees were nice .We Like Mr. GATTIS . MR.GATTIS JUST NEEDS TO MAKE SOME IMPROVEMENTS .SO WE CAN GIVE 5 STARS .

We went Yesterday drove in from out of town to spend the day in Abilene. Just walking in there was a dirty smell. We paid and our cups were filthy, we walked in and everything was dirty. This place literally looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. There was stuff spilled on the floors, tables were sticky and still dirty. Just plain gross. Very disappointed. Didnt stay to eat at all. Went and asked for my money back and left. Definitely will not go back at all.

Finally have people working. Plenty of pizza and desserts. Was there when they opened and had no pizza almost asked for a refund.

The food was decent. Only 3 pizza choices. The spaghetti noodles were very rubbery. Many of the games were broke.

After closing for a year, I was so excited to eat here. However it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in that year. The drink stations were out of ice, the floors and rugs around them were filthy and disgusting, desserts were barely edible and there was only 2 or 3 pizza options available at a time. So disappointed in Mr. Gattis

Food was alright. The AC system must be broke. Seemingly half the games in the arcade are broke because they don’t properly scan the cards (you have to swipe 10’s of times for it to finally read). Bring back the regular chocolate pudding, no reason to be getting all bouji with the desert.

Im giving this a 2 star because the pizza was not good at all, but the arcade was pretty affordable. A lot more affordable than Primetime. It was my first time going to the Mr Gattis here in Abilene. There used to be one in Dallas, but it closed down because no one liked the pizza there either. The only reason I went to the one in Abilene was because my in-laws insisted we go for my sons 5th birthday. My son didnt even enjoy the pizza. Will not be going back. Its not worth the money going just for the arcade and then leaving starving.

My kids loved going here, so this was a semi-regular stop for us when they were younger. The pizza isnt the greatest out there, but it is a place where you can let the kids run wild for an hour or two.

Wish I could do zero stars, looking at the reviews after I visited there was a mistake. I see all these reviews talking about how dirty the place was and how there are alot of games down, I figured it would all be fixed by now. NOPE!! What a disappointment, my son came down from fort Worth and we went there, all I can say is wow and not In a good way. My gripe is just like everyone elses, nothing has been fixed and the pizza is cold and old.

They have been closed due to Covid for almost a year, you go in the floors are sticky, nothing looks like in has been cleaned in over a year, the pizza tastes like cardboard, we were sitting there and the sweeper came in to sweep up the previous customers mess, pushed it into the corner of the room and there it sat. Dont know why they closed for Covid as they are apparently spreading it as fast as they can. You are supposed to wear a mask at the register, after that you can discard it, noone in buffet line wears one, noone in game room wears one.

Watery pasta dishes, no cheese on mac and cheese, food adverage.

They have characters go up to take pictures and dance with the kids! This time it was Fortnite characters, my 4 year old daughter loved seeing and dancing with them even though she didnt know who they were. Their food is great for the whole family!

This Mr Gattis was the worst Ive been to. Every room was dirty, had food on the floor, walls. I noticed cooks were handling food with no gloves than touching face. The buffet was dirty food was left out no fresh. My family walked in looked an asked for a refund, then they asked me why I wanted a refund I explained how the condition it was in. Will never go here again!

This place is a blast for dare-devil toddlers like ours. There is even an indoor roller coaster that adults can ride with them! Tons of fun in this place!!! And on senior day our buffet was dirt cheap. I believe it was Wednesday and we paid about $3. We will definitely go back!

First time visitor. I was skeptical at first of the huge crowd and it being buffet style, but it was very clean and the food was fresh and tasty. The buffet stands alone which is good so theres not ppl constantly hovering over the food. Theres plenty of variety as far as game, my kids loved it!

Took a long time to get what I ordered.

We went on Sunday for my sons birthday and this place has really gone down hill. There was hardly any pizza on the buffet line and you had to wait for them to make more to even get some, there was no silverware the plates were dirty and it wasnt busy so that is what surprised me but now I understand why. All the employees walk around like they are miserable not one single smile and if you ask for anything it is a bother for them. In the arcade area they painted the top of the case where you go to buy stuff with your tickets and had wet paint signs everywhere. You couldnt do that after the restaurant closed? I think we would just rather pay more at Chuck e cheese and go there.

Mr. Gattis has gotten better with their food quality. Also was much cleaner than previous times I have visited. Kids love it. Great job!

Has been on a slow decline for the last few years. Pizza has never been good, so I went in expecting that. The games are what we really go for, but it seemed like every game we tried to play this last time had something broken on it or just plain didnt work, they did refund us for the ones that didnt work, so that was a plus. The ice machine spit out incredibly dirty ice and the employee that I told really could not have cared less and nothing was done about it for the hour and a half we were there. Whatever.. I dont usually give bad reviews, but this place brought it out of me tonight. If they at least could keep the machines working for the kid, I could care less about the food. No one goes there just to eat anyways. At least I would hope not..

Held my nephews 1st birthday here and drove 2 1/2 hours! It was the worst experience! The staff was terrible, nobody smiled or greeted you. The Buffet looked terrible! I didn’t even eat. The environment was dirty. I was very very disappointed. I will not be back and will not recommend this place to anyone!

I came down from Tulsa and place was okay but the restroom was horrible. The restroom was hot, very dirty, 2 of the 4 toilets was out of order, changing table was broken, no soap, and dirty water and toilet paper all over the floor.

Great deal, have good selection of food and deserts. Pizza you can request your favorite and they have plenty of toppings. They have a special everyday. If youre looking for good pizza and other stop in here and they have game room for the kids too. Come and enjoy. Also the staff is very helpful too.

The pizza on the buffet was old and cold. But they took an order from me and made a fresh one. The cheese sticks were ols as well. The salad bar was good. Seems like they where more worried about the staff child then there customers. Will i go back no i dont think so.

We came here again on a Friday about 6:00pm and as usual the service was great and the food was hot and fresh. I was so impressed at the number of different pizzas they had out and the salad bar was fresh (as it always is) and well stocked. Best value in town for a full service pizza buffet.

This is our familys favorite birthday spot. We get to enjoy a great pizza buffet that has Pizza, Pasta, soups, salads, and desserts. The salad bar is amazing. The pizza tastes great. The pasta varieties range from meaty to spicy. The soups are made from scratch. Pacella has over 20 choices of what you want to put on. And the desserts get five to eat choices. Theres also drinks and slushies. After you eat, and perhaps watch a movie in the room youre not you can go play in the video arcade. Theres bumper cars. Babies through used have a great time. Its very family-friendly.

Pizza was pretty dry,not a big fan of how it tasted,first 2 games took my money and didnt let me play and others were missing balls so was limited on playing most, arcade is just not what it used to be.

Mr. Gattis has really gone downhill! As soon as we walked in the door. Tables were dirty. They ran out of plates and had paper plates out. Absolutely NOTHING on the buffet but maybe 3 breadsticks. We had to complain to get some pizzas made. Food in other food options. Such as cheese in the banana pudding, olives in the eggs, etc. Games were mostly broken or didnt accept the electronic card. Bowling was stuck and jammed the entire time. Really not enthusiastic about Gattis anymore. Sad really as it was a pretty neat place for kids.

Food and the food choices have improved. Soups such as broccoli cheese soup are tasty. Meat sauce is available for the spaghetti noodles. And the games are always great for the kiddos. Good nite for the families.73s

My son enjoyed all the games. Its got a little roller coaster and bumper cars. Pizza is a little better than Cicis....which isnt saying much.

Salad bar wasnt cold. pasta was to salty. Not slot of choices on pizza. None of the silver wear or plated were stocked. Forks for salad bar for some weird reason were on the other aide of the pizza bar didnt make much since. Games were okay but that about it. Wishing it was better since I heard great things. But honestly wont be coming back again

Man this place is a joke game room is pretty cool for little kids. A really neat roller coaster for younger kids . Last time we were here a lot of games were down this time not so bad. The food areas looks like it was last remodeled in the 80s and painted about that time. The room with a big screen has a projection TV that only works in black and white the buffet was cheese pizza or pepperoni very few other kinds of pizza . The overall feel and cleanliness has a lot to be desired several time they ran out of utensils and plates .Id really think that Mr Gattis corporation would follow up with their franchisees better. Bathrooms were gross

My 5 year old loves it here. He has enough games to keep him busy. Thankfully they have more than just pizza, so if you like pasta or salad you have other options. Great place to feed your face and then play.

When we walked in(approximately 2:30pm) the place was a ghost town, and that applies to employees and customers. There were no plates on the buffet, no bowls for pasta and soup, there were 3 redundant types of pizza available, and zero desert again with no plates. The slushy machine was out of order, there was trash all over the dining room floor, the projector in the room we were in was displaying black and white only. No one came to take our dirty dishes, I saw one employee one time.Bathrooms were terrible. No paper towels and no toilet paper. Since it wasnt busy when we came in, that would be the time to get the bathrooms cleaned and stocked. It cost us 60.00$ for 5 people to eat and the 3 kids to play games. Average 12$ each, I expect plates, bowls, a clean dining room and bathroom at least.

It was awesome. It was my granddaughters bday and the lady gave her 2.00 in games a tshirt and bday sticker. It was really nice of her.
