If I lived here I would most definately use this Take 5 for all my oil changed. Erica was the first one to greet me and let me tell you she is the Best. She is the reason I would be back here every time. She is very professional but also very friendly. I would think this company has recognized that she should be in a management position. Everyone is welcoming there. I am sorry that my plans changed and I am leaving for NC today so I came by to get my oil changed in the vehicle if am driving back home and Ericas welcoming smile I did not see. She was off today. Anyway I will be back again when I am in Texas this is my go to place.

Whoever thought getting an oil change would be fun? But the team made it that way. They were entertaining and funny. We took my husbands truck in. Plus, veterans discount! Now I cant wait until I need an oil change for my car.

Fast friendly service. The two gentlemen that serviced our van were very friendly and got us out of there as quickly as possible. Youre not allowed to get out of your car (understandably for health reasons) but they offered us water as soon as we pulled up then we were offered water to take with us(repeatedly). They seem like they enjoy their job and are hard working young men. We will be going back and I highly recommend them.

I haves successfully used this business once and failed to obtain services on two occasions. The first experience was great. I needed a state inspection and the customer service was fantastic. The service was expeditious, but also thorough. The second time I took my elderly Mother to get a state inspection and we were turned away because their computer system was down. No big deal, it happens and I guess they do not have a contingency plan. The third time I stopped by to try and get an oil change and the employee that greeted me told me that they did not have anymore oil filters and would not have any in stock until two days later. What? The name of the business is Take 5 OIL CHANGE and you cannot provide an oil change? When I told the employee that I had not had the best luck with this business, the employee got a little frustrated and stated that he had not checked the inventory for the day (it was 3pm at the time) and told me to pull into the garage. As the employee was obviously upset I thought it best to find a different business that actually wanted my business. Bottom line - this place is hit or miss depending on who is working that day.

This is the fastest easiest place to get your oil changed they dont try try to jack around with you. Ive been at other places that take like an hour or more. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

I had a great experience! Keith and Isaac are HARD WORKING employees! The only complaint I have is the past three times I have came, the manager consistently leaves and reappears without helping his employees! Even when the store is filled with car! That never happened when the previous manager worked there! A raise is needed for Keith & Isaac both for their dedicated to making their customers have a great experience! 👍🏽

I went in to get an oil change and the people there did not really know what they were doing. Oil change took unusually long and after the oil change I’ve had rough starts and idles. Later that day I got a warning saying my car’s oil pressure is low and I need to stop the car immediately. I’ve never had any issues with my oil pressure until after the oil change.Update: The customer service is pretty good. I went back the following day and they gave me another oil change free of charge. The car feels better, so I’m hoping there are no other issues

They are quick , polite, and fast. The only thing they always forget is to put the little sticker showing when my oil change is due again on my car. Other than that I will give them five stars.But I gave them four stars because they did forget to put the sticker on again.

I had a state inspection done on a 14th Street and Abilene Texas they where professional the lady did a great job and they didnt take us long at all. And we cannot ask for anything better thank you

I got my oil changed a little over a month ago here. Seeing the high reviews, I decided to go here. I appreciated the military discount, but the service, in the end, wasnt worth it. I noticed about a week ago, my engine oil was low after visiting Take 5. I immediately put my car in park and put more oil in to make it back to Take 5 and report my problem. About halfway there, my engine stalled, and I had to get it towed. I chose to bring it to the nearby Chevrolet dealership. Thankfully this happened, or I wouldve had to buy a whole new engine for my Vehicle. Whoever did my oil change didnt put the rubber seal in the right spot, and my car was leaking oil. I would not recommend this place, and I will not be going back.

I always use take 5 but today is my first visit to this location and Colby and his team are great.

Ive used this place when it was under a different name. Today, I went by to get an inspection on my elderly mothers car. There was one car in a bay. I pointed to the sticker and told the man that was all I needed. He pointed me to the last bay. I parked. I waited 25 min. In that time, nobody touched the car in the bay or came to tell me how long it would be. I drove away after 30 minutes. Find somewhere else. I liked this place under the previous brand. They would vacuum your carpets and were prompt.

The best oil change place ever, Korbin and his crew in Abilene were so honest and professional they actually told me I did not need the oil change yet, were so friendly , filled my tires with air sent me on my way with coupons , great jobs guys.

I was very impressed with the assistant manager Zach and his team. I was in and out faster than any other place Ive been to in town for an oil change. They were polite, friendly, professional and very careful with their checks and balances. I watched as the technician poured the oil in and it was if it was $1,000 bottle of champagne. He poured so carefully to endure it didnt spill on the engine. I like the fact I didnt have to get out of my car and wait in a waiting room too.

I usually come here all the time to get my oil changed. I needed to get my car inspected so I went by after work yesterday. I was told when I got there that their inspector leaves at 3 everyday. I was told to come back at 7 when they open. I left home early and stopped by this morning. The worker there seemed visibly annoyed that I had pulled in and asked what I needed. I told him that I needed to get my inspection done. He huffed and said he was the only one there and he cant do that right now. He seemed very irritated. I told him that yesterday I was asked to come back this morning. After my experience with this and feeling like I inconvenienced this business, I will be going to Valvoline for my inspection and oil changes for now on.

Attention to detail and great customer service

Everyone that worked there was friendly charismatic knowledgeable and most importantly quick although I did come at a busy time I came back an hour later and was able to pull right through.

The staff was very polite and friendly. Fast efficient and safe. I am working in Abilene tx I have been driving from Fort Worth back in forth everyday Monday through Friday. I don’t have to be at work until 8AM but I chose to leave my house at 5AM it put me in Abilene at take 5 oil change at 7:02AM. The garage doors were already open and I was out of there by 7:25AM had enough time to grab breakfast and coffee I will definitely be using them for now on.

If you arent going to change oil at 6:40, then dont advertise being open until 7. Got my oil changed here once at 6:45, went again today and the employee told me theyre not taking any cars.

I went for an oil change.. The wait was super long without anyone communicating with me at all. I was told to pull in and I was left sitting until I finally reached out to someone. The cost was very unexpected and for that price I would think the customer service would be a lot better. What I paid is what I have paid at the dealership.Good thing is they have discounts for mil and vets.

The employees did not do 1/2 of the things on the receipt that they said they did. Sticker on my windshield is not correct for the next time to get my oil changed.. Employee was told it was wrong but he didnt change it. No one checked my tires, didnt see anyone check washer fluid, nor was the windshield washed.It was pretty expensive for what I had done.

I called “Take 5” this evening and spoke with an employee. I asked to speak with a manager and was told he wasn’t there. Simply wanting to know who I was speaking with, I asked for the persons name. He refused to tell me and asked why I wanted to know. After a few minutes of explaining what happened to my vehicle (Isaac, I later found out was his name after he hung up on me) determined that it was my fault that I ended up on the side of the road, not the technician (Korbin) that improperly install the O-Ring which caused my oil to empty over the course of 20 something days. Isaac became belligerent and insisted that I shouldn’t have waited almost 30 days before experiencing this problem. As if I could have predicted how long it would take for oil to leak out of a faulty installed O-Ring. After being hung up on, I called back and spoke with Keith. He was very polite and professional and told me that I needed to call back and speak with Mgr. John Williams. He apologized for Isaac and the situation and said that if I called back during normal business hours John would assist me.Here are the simple details of what happened:On 2/5/21, I brought my 2015 Camaro in for an oil change. On 3/3/21, I was driving to work (Dyess) when my “Low Oil Pressure” light came on and the car stalled. The RPMs would react while trying to accelerate but my vehicle wouldn’t move. I was left stranded on the side of the road so I called and had it towed to my apartment. While there I checked the oil and found it to be dangerously low. As a result, I had the vehicle towed to Lawrence Hall Chevrolet for repair and to prevent further possible damage. They discovered that the O-Ring has been improperly installed by “Take 5” causing the operability of my vehicle to cease. Due to the incompetence of “Take 5,” I am now out the cost of a tow ($50) the cost of repairs to my vehicle ($341.70). This doesn’t include the $70.38 I spent on the initial oil change with Take 5. What should have cost $70.38 for an oil change, ended up costing my $462. This is completely unacceptable and I would like someone to resolve this issue for me. Service was pretty quick, workers were nice and professional. One female worker, told me I had a gas leak and it was not true.

They told me they filled the fluids and when I checked they were not filled..not good

I had both my vehicles in for an oil change and both had oil leaks right after. They never had leaks prior to their service. They said many cars lately are reporting oil leaks after their service. Stay away from them. I would not use them at all!

I had my oil changed at Take Five yesterday. They were totally professional, shared all my options with me and let me make my decision, were very courteous, showed me my old and extremely dirty air filter and gave me the choice to get a new one - which I did, and cleaned my windshield. I Especially liked not having to get out of my car. I will definitely go there again.

Drive thru service so super convenient because you can wait in the comfort of your own car and watch as they work on your vehicle. Went in for an oil change and got 2 other things fixed on my car I didn’t even know I needed for a reasonable price. Customer service was amazing, very friendly and helpful. It was a Saturday and there were only 2 techs working. Zach came to us as soon as we drove up and told us there would be a wait because there were only 2 of them work. He was extremely polite. We stayed and glad we did. Those two men were working hard non stop and were so polite. There was a constant line in both lanes. It was hot, they had no fans and were as polite as could be and had great service and kept apologizing for the wait. I never saw two young men work so hard and polite at one time. My wife and I were extremely pleased. We just hope the manager/owner gives these two young men a raise and a cooler fan for the bay.

Nice to have my truck maintained quickly. Definitely worth the quick oil change. I like being able to sit in my truck and have the maintenance done and then be on my way. No more long waits at the dealership.

Quick and easy I got to stay in my own car but it was kind of expensive.

So my oil change yesterday was like no other. As I was getting excellent service from my technician. The unexpected happened my car, inside and out to include me got sprayed with oil from the other bay. The guy immediately apologize. At first we thought it was just the outside because that was where most of it went, on my hood, under my hood and windshield. Yet then I noticed oil on my dash, seats, steering wheel, my military uniform, side of my face, probably my hair as well, my paperwork/folder in the car, radio area, gear shaft, just everywhere! The manager immediately came out and an apologize so many times I could not keep up. He gave me my oil change free and left me in good hands with the assistant manager. He also apologize and cracked jokes to lighten the mood which was great. All the guys there apologized for the freak accident and worked very hard to clean my car inside and out. I was also given some cleaner to take home and offered a free car detail if I did not like their cleaning or found more spots inside my car once I got home. Which I thought was all great. I do feel they should of also setup a car detailing appointment right then without me having to go back and ask heck its oil and everyone knows how had oil can be to get rid of. My main focus when I got home was to get my uniform cleaned, take a shower, wash my hair not detail my car especially when I had just had it cleaned on the 24th. The guys very apologetic and sweet demeanors definitely made the overall experience tolerable.
