Over three weeks of no pickup service. Keep being promised a pickup date but still no one has shown up. We were sent a text stating we must move canister to accessible location, but we have had a dumpster in the same location for 9 years. It was never an issue until Republic bought out our prior provider. Not to mention, it is physically impossible for me to just move a dumpster 1/4 mile to the end of the driveway. Customer service is horrible when called, excessive hold times and don’t care to deal with issues.

Been 2 weeks with no trash pickup. Tried to call and left several messages with no response. So tried to visit local office and there was a sign on the door saying it was closed to the public. Will no longer do business with Republic, a horrible experience.

51 customer and Im #52 who is not impressed by the companys inability to remedy grievances of their service. Ive read quite a few of the reviews, thought we were a unique situation but it seems we are not. Same comoalints have been launched and all Ive read so far are apologies for losing customers. businesses. Too bad your company management doesnt seem to care enough to makethe appropriate changes to improve your service. We are now looking for another collector after you have failed to pick up our garbage after we were.told 3x you would. This is definitely not the way to run a business.. You are quick to send us the bill but youre not able to deliver the expected service.

They change their service routes too much. They then missed the new service days. They never call to explain why. They just text a new pick up day, but it’s after they did your route. Now u MUST wait till next week, if they don’t change the pick up day again. If you call, don’t expect anybody to answer, if you leave a message for a manager or supervisor to return you call, they will not call you.This company used to be very good. Now that it changed is very poorly managed,Very bad customer service.I TOTALY agree with the poor reviews this company gets.

I’ve had Republic for six years. Since they bought Knox I have to call once a month because they didn’t pick up my trash. Wednesday they didn’t pick up the trash so I called Thursday. Was told they would pick up Friday. Here it is Saturday and haven’t seen or heard from them

I would rather give them 0 stars. They have missed 2 pick ups in a row. Ive called to let them know they missed a pick up, they then schedule a date usually the next day to get the trash bin emptied. They never show up, so technically its 4 missed pick ups. Its not just my trash, its the whole neighborhood. Everyones bin is over flowing. This didnt happen under Knox waste, just since it became republic services. They also keep you on hold for an hour every time you call. If there was another trash company I would use them. I guess the realize they can treat thier customers however they want because we dont have a choice.

Very annoyed with this company. I got a text on 8/2/21 that our trash would be delayed by 1 day.... Here we are almost 2 weeks later and still trash has not been picked up. The trash smells terrible and is overflowing! I have called and left several messages but have not got a response. I do find it funny that I can not get a hold of anyone but somehow my payment managed to be drawn from my account. Deserves zero stars!!!

Worst company ever. Do not wase your time with this people. They charge you whatever amount they want and when you call to talk to somebody never any response. Really worst experience ever. Save your money and use another company.

Horrible customer service if you can actually get a hold of a person to talk to. The only thing that will ever come on time is the bill. I’ve gone several weeks with missed pick ups and they don’t care. I had to pay somebody to come haul my trash off since our dumpster was over flowing. The company treats you like trash instead of picking up your trash.

How do i get in touch with the manager of the drivers, just because we live out in the country does not give the drivers permission to speed down the roads! My children and animals are outside on a daily basis. The drivers are going down a county paved road at least 50-60 mph this is ridiculous and not safe to anyone out here!!!!!!! Republic trash bought out our previous trash company KWS a few months back. Since we have had nothing but problems with them. Missed pick ups calls about delays to next day followed by 6am calls on sat morning by a robot saying 3 more days delay. Anytime you call in you get hours of wait time and people that have no idea what they even do. 15/1 do not recommend! Even the supervisor is worthless and confused….

After more that tripling the cost- I had found another company to go with-ALSO, since I am in the country and have a metal dumpster I am charged commercial rate.--There are no other options available.So simple, call in, come get dumpster--NOT- the people yu talk to have to get the order to another department they have to approve the removal--4 calls later--escalation is asking if I have talked to sales rep to schedule removal. This is the most ridiculous excuse for a business I have ever been a part of. Courtney keeps saying I have to speak with someone else --she cant cancel --So BOTTOM LINE-- I AM NOT PAYING THE $189.00 PER MONTH ANY MORE--COME GET YOUR DUMPSTER!!!!

Household trash container. Im one of thousands affected by recent flooding. My waste container was washed away. They never answered my email about how to get a replacement container. I called and was on hold for 45 minutes. The first guy got all huffy because I was wanting to upgrade to a larger container. So I was put on hold for SALES. I had trouble understanding the salesman. The larger container was going to be more than 3 times the cost of the original container PLUS a ridiculous delivery charge. a $ $30 charge because the other container was washed away. Serving rural areas this company obviously doesnt realize that we burned our trash before and I will burn it again before I pay their current price. Love CAPITALISM. Give bad service you go out of business.

Terrible service, no pick up and no explanation for 4 weeks. Cancel, stop auto pay and they still are taking payment and have come and picked up the can. 40 mins on hold so har between 3 calls tryin to reach a person to get my money back. They’re thief’s, taking money without providing a service is a pretty neat scam!!!!

I get this service through they city and they are absolutely horrible. I notified that my trash was missed and the next day I saw the truck drove by my house three times and they still didn’t pick up the trash. It’s not like they didn’t see it either it is clearly in the street visible. Definitely not worth paying for and they do even deserve one star.

We have been with this company for over 7 years! My trash pick up was changed from Monday to Friday, but so far no service for over 3 weeks. Have called into the call number more than 7 times. 3 times they said a supervisor would call us back- they have never called. I have had 2 text confirmations stating they would be coming to pick up our garbage, yet still have not seen anyone. My garbage is overflowing and soon we will have to go to the city dump to pay to get rid of garbage. Im tired of being lied to. I just want to know when you will pick up my stinking (literally) trash!

Multiple missed pickups. Charging me as a commercial account for a 1100 square foot house for 5 YEARS which I didnt find out until I called in to cancel service. At that time they told me they couldnt cancel me I had to talk to a sales manager as they could not cancel me. They told me that the sales manager would contact me the next day. I then asked why I had to talk to a sales manager they told me I had a commercial account. It has been over a week and no contact. I have called almost every day for over a week still no one has responded. It has been escalated multiple times. I still cant cancel. I believe the problem is the fact that they have had me as commercial for 5 years.Average time on hold has been over a half hour every day. Then they take my no. For customer service to call me back. Once they do They cannot do anything but escalate it but that has not done any good so far.Do not use Republic services. They also charge twice as much as other services in the area.

Since theyve taken over Knox waste weve had horrible experience with trash not get picked up. It started pilling up in my yard with no where to put it and were paying for trash service! We called and tried to cancel our service and they tell us were under contract but no such contract was ever made and/or signed. It takes days and days for call backs, if at all. Overall seems like a scam business.

5-6 missed pickup since January 2021. When it rains just a little bit they don’t show up. Guess their trucks are made of sugar . One time they didn’t show up for two weeks. I called to cancel on may 6th 2021. Informed me account was canceled as of today BUT WOULD BE CHARGING UNTIL THE END OF THE MONTH even though they wouldn’t be picking up anything! I Call that THEFT!!!!! Yes this company loves to ROB their customers… use COUNTY WIDE WASTE instead . They are local. republic IS NOT .

All I am trying to do is get services for my new house very RELUCTANTLY per these reviews. Not exaggerating, I have been on the phone for an hour now trying to talk to someone. All the other very responsive trash companies have told me that they can’t service us because the City is contracted with this company. Ugh. Emailed you, and left two voicemails last week with someone named Heidi. I don’t care how you contact me, just set up my services so I can have trash picked up for when we move in please. 😒

Had a few missed pickups with them in the past, but the latest is ridiculous. They were supposed to pick up last Friday. Its Monday night now. Our whole neighborhood is like this. After roughly 10 attempts to talk to someone on the phone, they finally picked up. Said they didnt know when someone would be out. When trying to cancel service, they had the nerve to say they charge $25 to pick up the can. How about you pick up the can and all the trash and close your business.

They change the pickup date all the time without notice. The price has increased $10 in the last year. Choose any other available option.

We have a dumpster for our RV Park. We requested to have a bigger dumpster and have an additional pickup day added for a total of two pickup dates per week. This was requested and I signed paperwork on 6/7/21. I was told I would have the larger dumpster and new pickup dates that week. Its 6/21/21 and I still havent received the new dumpster. The current dumpster is overflowing. I dont have time to wait over an hour for a representative to call me. I never had a single issue with Knox Waste, but now that its republic, multiple pickups have been missed.

Poor service. Not picking up trash. Poor customer service. Leave you on hold for 30-40 minutes. In one case, made complaint to woman on phone who hung up on me.

Scheduled a pick up, and it gets pushed back every day with no explanation or anything. Its increasingly frustrating paying for a trash can that I dont even have.

Update: After finally getting a hold of them. I cancelled service. Had to wait till the end of the month per their “contract” then they have the nerve to charge me for the next month after I cancelled. They used my credit card even though I did not authorize it! They also wanted to charge me to pick up their recepticle even though they never gave me one. Which is not even legal. Terrible customer service. You can not get a hold of them, you can not easily cancel your service. They responded to my first poor review and then did not resolve my issue. It only got worse. Cancelling garbage service should not be an act of congress.

They accidentally removed my dumpster and then it took 9 days and me calling them over 10 times to get the situation resolved. I have spoke to two different supervisors one local and the other from a call center about issuing a credit to my account for the time I didnt have a dumpster. Both of the supervisors assured me they would handle it but they have not done so. In my opinion if you accept money for a service and then do not perform the service you give the money back. This company has no morals and they will lie to get the customer off the phone.

We have. Been waiting over a week to pick up trash. Republic just bought out KWS and cant keep up! Why buy a company and you cant offer service? Some have not been picked up in five weeks!!!! FIVE WEEKS!!!!!!

I called in January to cancel my serices, called in February and again today..but today I just got to stay on hold for 28 minutes. I have called ...andposted on there Facebook and called again!! and I cant get them to come get this dumpsters!! and they are still trying to bill me!!! I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone! I wish Knox waste would NOT have sold out!!! I recommend County waste services!!

Horrible horrible company. They purchased the trash company I was using, so I went to a different one. But now it has been 2 months since we canceled service, and they wont come get the dumpster, its been empty, they have driven past it everytime, and they are still sending us bills for it, 166 bucks and counting. But we canceled service. This is why we refuse to use RWS. They only care about the money. Litterly they have not touched the dumpster, yet they are charging us for it. Use any other company but these *****.......

Horrible company! KWS went out of business and apparently sold to this company. I paid my bill for the month of January 2021 and called to cancel my services for February. This company decided to pick up my dumpster within 72 hours with me footing the billing for one month of services I paid for. I would recommend CWS trash services instead of this poorly managed company that steals from their customers. Would NOT recommend this company!

Republic failed to pickup on regular scheduled pickup day, Wednesday. Called on Wednesday, was promised pickup on Thursday. No pickup on Thursday. Called on Friday and was promised pickup on Friday, No pickup Friday. Have spent about an hour and a half total on hold and talking with service reps that arent even located in state. Nothing but lies.

Republic was charging us nearly $20 more per month above what other companies in our area we’re charging. When I called to negotiate the price, they agreed to match that of the other companies WITH fees/taxes included. When I got my next bill, they simply added on fees. After two attempts to get them to correct this, I called to cancel our service and they told me there was going to be a $25 pick up fee.

Worst trash company in the area.

Over priced for the service so I pay for the container then pay for a weekly dump and then the charge you for the fuel to come dump your container dropping this service as soon as they can either answer the phone or reply to my emails

Had Knox Waste for years. Apparently they sold to Republic. We NEVER had to call Knox (NOT ONCE) to come get our trash because they forgot it. This is DAY THREE of me calling in a row and still NO PICKUP. Ridiculous.

They have picked yet for two weeks their customer service rep said they would send a truck out to pick that never happened they will not call back or answer FB comments Republic’s just sucks

Our garbage receptacle has not been picked for 2 weeks. We called numerous times only to be promised that it will be picked up the next day. But it was not picked up as promised. It is frustrating!!! Such poor service!!!

Republic lied to me about trash service and the fees involved. Tried to speak with supervisor. Left my name and number......nothing.

Dishonest company. We have had numerous incidents of the dumpster not being fully dumped. We were told on Friday they would come back out Monday to dump it completely. I called at 6:30 PM on Monday and was told were still on the route to be dumped that same day. Its now Tuesday and our dumpster still hasnt been emptied. This is the 4th time at least that this has happened. They do not follow through on what they promise and they do not correct the issue which is the driver responsible for emptying our trash. Each time we complain he gives the excuse that something is wrong with the dumpster such as faulty doors. This is a lie. Its a standard dumpster. Dont waste your money.

I paid this company for 10 years every month. The minute i had an issue with their service they didnt want to hear it. They dropped me like a hot rock! THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT NEED THE BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to get a quote for a one time dumpster use. They asked a dozen questions about the use of it, then after all that, they didnt have a price sheet for my location
