Fantastic salad bar! Vegetables were sparse. Fish was great! I went about 2:30 in the afternoon. No waiting. Friendly staff.

So havent been in a bit so me and hubby went and boom some food was over cooked some under. Cookies taste like sugar free store bought ones. And to top it off the work stuck her hand in the food and ate it while cleaning and did it again she turned and saw I was looking at her from the table Im sorry but that was a total stomach twisted. Not worth it

It was good. They have raised their prices though and it will be difficult to eat there except on rare occasions.Food I choose was seasoned nice. Salad was fresh. I wanted medium rare steak and most of it was well done. It had a good flavor but was dry and couldnt eat but a little of it. Atmosphere was busy.

I could do almost everything with combinations but I couldnt cover my roll with chocolate so one star is removed

The service and staff were great.The restaurant looked clean.Everything was over all great.Theres a few things on the buffet that look old and dry. The only reason i give this establishment a 4 star review is because of the food. Everything else was great

I know several that dont like this place, but I love it. Great place to feed two boys that are ALWAYS hungry and impossible to fill up and they dont rush you out. You can sit and enjoy time with family and friends.

Well the Food was really poor quality this time. Starting with the roast and potatoes and carrots the roast was OK the potatoes and carrots was crunchy. Tried some potato salad with it was horrible. Had some corn with it, Is horrible so I had some dessert. Your bread pudding Its always great not today horrible had a Wang I could only eat 1 bite. Carrot cake was OK was not the best. The only thing that I enjoyed was the ice cream in A cone. I could not believe our meal I took my sisters to dinner today and they could not believe it either. Shes not a good day for Golden Corral. Not pleased at all. Golden Corral failed badly today.

The Golden corral yes I was there I went with my mother and my step dad and the service was great they had plenty to choose from more than you could know I mean going at the time that we did we was able to get into a decent place to set and the people there were great they waited on us the place was clean sanitized the food prep was taken care of accident we were taking care of excellent my mother and father go there everyday and eat and it shows there is it says accident I said excellent there were no accidents everything was excellent they take care of my mother and father my mother and stepfather excellent they eat there all the time and the food was good we had a good time I mean the food was good its not a long distance they take care of everyone and the place is clean and sanitized and I enjoyed my visit Abilene Texas

Everything was good they had plenty of stuff that came out fresh just wish they added or changed stuff thru out the week ,,may be sum pasta dishes or even burgers would be great to add to there buffet,

You can Always find something good but a few of my personal favorites, Beef pot roast, sweet potatoes, and surprisingly their catfish is amazing 👏 😋 👌 👍👍

Should absolutely sit in Sus section, shes the best. Food was fresh and plentiful.

Golden Corral left a lot to be desired when my husband and I went tonight. We havent eaten there since pre-COVID and definitely wont go back anytime soon.

Rude employees and they havent had what I like available the last several times Ive gone. Over priced and Im not wasting time or money at an establishment where I personally heard a manager talking trash about the customers to another employee. If you dont like your job, get a new one!

This is the best Golden Corral Ive ever been to. I live in Dallas and only come down this way when Im going to the deer camp, so Ive been to several other GCs everywhere from Waxahachie to Sherman. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the steaks are on point and cooked exactly how you request them, food is always fresh and topped off, etc. My go to place to eat when Im starving. Highly recommended.

Golden Coral, what can I say other than this place is HORRIBLE, cold everything or burnt everything else. Awesome pot roast looked like grease flavored meat sauce. Who puts icing on bread pudding, how do you screw up banana pudding, I could go on. Hadnt been there is probably 10 years and now I remember why.

All around this is one of the best Golden Corrals I’ve ever been to. The staff is friendly the bathrooms are clean and the restaurant is really clean overall. We enjoy the wide range of veggies and fruit on the salad bar. My friend especially loves fried cat fish with lemon wedges, fried chicken wings, coleslaw and cornbread with a Mexican flair!

Nothing I tried was worth eating. Everything except the coconut pie tasted bad.

I ordered takeout food for the first time from here today. It was wonderful! The food was done nearly 20 minutes earlier than expected. The quality and the portion was great, and they even threw in some extra cookies!

I was in Abilene for a funeral and needed a good breakfast before hand.To be honest, the only reason I chose Golden Corral was because I knew they would have a salad bar also and really didnt expect much.I have to say, the buffet was great.Ive never been anywhere that had mennudo, chorizo and eggs, French toast , small chicken fried steaks with the usual breakfast fare.I went in for the salad bar, but I dont think I got anything off of it except Pico de Gallo and lemon.Golden corral rocks for breakfast

The Cook at the grill needs lessons on knowing what a well done steak is. Worst Cook Golden Corral had hired. Ive been a regular loyal customer for the past 10 years.Art needs an education in how to hire a Cook for the grill. My toddler son can cook better then their current Golden Corral Cook.

Food was great had this big huge steaks off the grill it was wonderful so delicious I would recommend come here and just trying a little everything...

I wont be likely to return here because of the amount of people allowed in at the same time. The buffet was crowded and had children running everywhere. They were also allowed at the buffet tables unaccompanied.There were very few gloves available and the food was very limited. What food was available was overcooked, burnt, or had been sitting under the hot lamp for too long. Cornbread should not crunch the whole way.

The food is very good. They have tables set for social distancing and they have fixed it so that people can still enjoy the buffet. They have disposable gloves available and face covering if a person forgets theirs. There have been changes made to comply with guidelines but it is still worth going. All the staff are very friendly, just nice to dine here again.

Very nice assortment of foods. Well prepared but only good not very tasty. As expected for the price. Friendly staff and appears to be very adequate Covid precautions. All diners must wear mask and supplied gloves at the buffet.

First of all, I went in not ever having take-out from Golden Corral, but Damar was working the register and showed me how Golden Corral does Take-out... Damar acts like he wants to be there, proud of his restaurant and is the kind of employee every restaurant owner should want. I recommend Golden Corral.

Loads of over cooked food, huge selection of it. 3 stars for the salad bar, thank God for that. Otherwise, Id still be hungry, not able to eat most of the swill they served.

I enjoy eating here because I have the choice to eat a variety of foods. The salad bar was exceptionally fresh.

Food was delicious like always. Waitresses stood around talking. We had to flag them down just to get refills and more plates. We didnt know who was our waitress either. This was the first time we have had an experience like this here. Very disappointing.

I used to eat at this place every Thursday now it’s turned into once a month , the food was wonderful today (not the fried food)saw a different cook in the front of the kitchen that I usually don’t see on a Thursday(warren I think his name was) and he was amazing and worked his tail off the whole time we were there ,if I had a problem or needed anything he had it ready and my wife and I didn’t have to wait 30 minutes like we have to like the other guy ,the service is we’re the problem was we had old 2 Asian servers waiting for us as soon as I payed telling us where to sit (isn’t this a buffet) and argued over it The section they made us sit in was dirty and you could smell and see the dirty tub of dishes that stayed there the whole time we ate, Seems like this place is falling off more and more and the music was too loud

They used to cook steak & specialty items fresh while u wait. Now the pre-cooking them, leaving it on the side of the grill. Didnt like that. If u cant eat whats on your plate in 3-5 min, your food will be cold. Nothing is hot anymore, just barely warm.

Horrible service and started putting stuff up about 8. Took the vents off the grill while food was still present. Food looked dry and old. The last 3 times I have gone there the liver and onions have been burnt and I asked if they had more and they said they wouldnt cook it till it was gone. All of this just makes bad business.

Breakfast was hot and fresh! Omelets cooked to order and also fried chicken out for breakfast is you want something a little different. Would recommend trying!

Love their fried fish! Its basically what I go for. The waiters are always friendly and since Covid they seem to be doing a great job at trying to protect customers with having gloves to handle the tongs and stuff to get the food.
