Worst place to deliver dry good!If you are a truck driver delivering dry good here be prepared to get lots of hours wasted waiting for dock door!If you arrive before 03:30 guard will turn you back to park on the street and walk back for check-in at 03:30.They take your paperwork, get your phone number and tell you to wait in your truck for call back. Since they don’t tell you how long it can take to get the call you can just hope they call you soon! I am heavy sleeper so I tried to stay up so I don’t miss the call back.After 2 and half hour later with no call back, I check on the office to see what’s going on back rudely yelled at even though I was polite in asking for updates. 6 hours after my appointment and check-in time they gave me a door!If only they had told me it will take more than 6 hours or even rough estimate of the average time it takes to get call back/unloaded here I would have went to sleep and put on the alarm!For those who care about the little detention money I don’t. As owner operator I value my rest and making it to my next client load more!THE WORST PLACE TO DELIVER! I know I will never deliver for them ever again and I advice you to avoid them like the plague until they do a radical management overhaul!

I had a early a.m. delivery on a Sunday. Just drive up to the guard shack no need to park and walk up at this time of day. Check in is underneath the red awning there is a black call box to the left at the top of the stairs. Once inside they have a tablet you have to stop at that verifies you have a mask and checks your temperature. This is a chauk, Dolly down and release facility

Overnight parking on street before gate... Friendly Staff and quick to unload

Dock area is very tight to get around.It did take a full 2 hours to unload, for a straight pull off, that should have went faster!

Enough room for about 4 trucks to park on street outside of gate. Receiving start @ 3am. Backing can be tight depending on dock. Unloaded me 3 & half hours after appointment.

If you happen to have an extra 5 hours to waste, this place is perfect!! Security guard is extremely rude, so they have that going for them as well.. good luck

Arrived at receiving counter to check in at 0600 for a 0700 appointment. Was told to come back at 0700. Insufficient space on property to stage. Must leave property to wait for door assignment.Very poor work ethic, which wasnt surprising. Remember where you are.

I’m giving it 2 thumbs up for quick check in and at least for me quick unloading and parking on the street but can be a little hectic when they start letting drivers in and backing into your door 👍

Absolutely horrible service disorganized poor work ethic and no space, have two pallets came in with appointment and unable to receive me for 3hr lost a load and another appointment because of there poor management system while having doors available

Was late to appointment but they worked me in. And unloaded me quickly.

I checked in 6am was done less than an hour,being loaded..only thing is,its kinda of tight in there,take your time backing a semi truck

This place is absolutely horrible! The lack of customer service is unbelievable! And then with this COVID-19 stuff going on they want the drivers to wear mask but yet don’t have their employees wearing them! No point in showing up on time for your appointment cause they still have you wait regardless!

I would give this place negative stars, stay away from here, it has not changed in 2years, was theere 2years ago, in door unloading that was 7hours in door, today 31620 appt for 400, theere in door, till 1130, and a ridiculous lumper of 453 4 a load of blue bunny ice cream. yeah card board cylinders, they had to work real hard to seperate the diffrent flavors, cut stretch wrap 3rd cylinder down and it off on to another pallet, with a lift, yup that takes 7.5 hours todo. 23 pallets. with 2people.

Backing is a little tight when theres alot of traffic in the lot. People clogging up the entrance and exit because there is not much parking here. But eh. Its does the job. Lumper fee was a bit much. 160 for 2 pallets. But it is what it is.

It’s my First time here,after reading all the reviews I was so worried that how I’m gonna make it to next stop in Richmond,VAI had an appointment at 7:00 am checked in at 5:30 AM, at door at 6:50 AM, pulled out from door at 8:47 AM,staff was nice I didn’t see no attitude at all,I had 17 pallets for this drop, I took 1 star ⭐️ because they didn’t answer their phone ☎️Guys park at street then walk to receiving office for check in,yes you can park on street for overnight parking

First they gave a piece of paper with the phone number of the office. No one answered the phone. When I entered the office, they told me that I was late for my apoment. They gave the dock immediately and began to unload.

Look, if you are a trucker and do these food places you shouldn’t be to shocked at the time or cost we incur. Dry van, 5 hours and $400 lumper fee and the dry docks are tight and the workers park in front. They are by appointment, so have one. There are a few stops to stay over night outside gate and do us a favor, stop driving on the grass and leaving your trash around, so we can keep having a place. The employees seem really nice, except for the dark hair girl in the office who thinks she can act high and mighty and not get smack but she would be wrong. Also, for those who love Chinese food, I recommend Szechuan Inn, AMAZING.

Scott Debour, Mike Robinson and Taylor Kelly havent even worked at Gordons Aberdeen in over a year so the post immediately before this one is contrived. GFS chews people up and spits them out. They wont treat you like family and you might end up losing your family while working for them.

Place is a joke. 3 hours to unload me. $423.00 lumper fee ( BS ) to unload 20 pallets of plastic disposable food trays.. thats robbery

Best place to work for, especially the Trans department. Gordon introduced me to the transportation game. They took me when no one wanted me and moulded me to an American professional driver. Scott Debour, Mike Robinson and Taylor Kelly are the best. When one day I will open my Restaurant with the help of God, l am buying everything and l mean everything from GFS. Gordon is an outstanding American company. They treat people like family.

The worst place for the truckers to do delivery .waiting 24 hours already,they saying the driver was 15 min late to the appointment.

Employees take food and personal belongings, most not all are very rude and short with you, you need supervision to use the restrooms/break area, you will need to bring your own sealable cup to get water due to no fountains, there is drinking water but it cannot be obtained without cups that are behind a locked door, smoke area for employees has very limited space and exposed nails.
